00:04But when I drop in this grape, which isn't quite as dense,
00:07it sinks down through the top two layers and sits on top of the syrup.
00:10This bottle top slowly sinks down through the oil and sits on the water,
00:14and this piece of sponge floats on the top.
00:16Pretty cool, huh?
00:17They've all got different densities.
00:19Because this syrup is denser than the water, it sinks to the bottom.
00:22Then pour in some cooking oil and leave it to settle.
