00:00I call these guys up and I said, there's a very lovely lady.
00:04You're from Scotland, she's from Scotland.
00:06What Scotland has given us, golf.
00:09They're like the brothers I never had and made out with.
00:14He just kept screaming, I don't know how to act.
00:17We said, neither does Julie.
00:19Guys, it's so good to see you.
00:21Look at the three of you there all together.
00:23It's so nostalgic.
00:24We had to put Julie in between us because we were going to go at it.
00:30A rose between two thorns, Julie, I know that feeling.
00:33No, I feel like the thorn.
00:35These guys are my roses.
00:36I love them.
00:37I love them very much.
00:39They're like the brothers I never had and made out with.
00:45Both of you.
00:46Yes, exactly.
00:48Love that scene.
00:50I love how this is how it started.
00:52I've not even asked the question yet and it's already chaos.
00:55I love it.
00:56So you're Scottish.
00:58English.
00:59Scottish.
01:00Yeah, we can't understand a word you're saying.
01:07I was gently saying that it was quite a brogue.
01:11Quite a brogue.
01:12You might have to translate for us.
01:15Behave yourselves.
01:16Right, listen.
01:17I absolutely love Happy Gilmore.
01:20I mean, this is so exciting that it's back.
01:23However, the sequel is nearly 30 years in the making.
01:27That's almost the same amount of time that I've been alive.
01:30Adam, why did you make us wait so long?
01:33Well, you didn't.
01:34I'm assuming you only saw it when you were like 12 or 15 for the first time.
01:38So you only had to wait 15 years.
01:40Yeah, nothing.
01:41You're fine.
01:41Yeah.
01:42Think about the rest of us.
01:43I mean, I'm 33, so I'm not going to do the math because I'm really not a math gal.
01:50But Adam, it's taken so long.
01:51Why did you make us wait so long?
01:53And why is it the right time to do it now?
01:55Well, when I saw you when you were four, and I saw how hard you were laughing, I called
02:02these guys up and I said, there's a very lovely lady.
02:06You're those Scottish kids, from Scotland.
02:08What Scotland has given us, golf, might as well bring it right back.
02:14Mother country from golf.
02:15Well done.
02:17I mean, this is true.
02:19I wasn't going to mention it.
02:20You know, it's the elephant in the room.
02:21But I guess the film wouldn't exist without Scotland, right?
02:26Exactly.
02:26We appreciate you when we're trying to give back to the community.
02:30I love it.
02:31And listen, seeing the three of you together is just so nostalgic.
02:35What was that moment like when you knew Julie and Chris that you were going to reprise those
02:41roles?
02:43Here's the thing.
02:44When you're in Adam's world, you don't really leave Adam's world.
02:47So it's not like you never see each other.
02:49Yes, that's true.
02:50And whether, you know, parties, and you're always nice and invite me to things and like,
02:55and I, you come to every other one.
02:58Yeah.
02:58I come, you know what?
02:59When you come to show.
03:00I'm very busy.
03:03I don't leave my house much.
03:05And so it's not like you've never seen each other.
03:09Yeah.
03:09You know, for a long time.
03:10We haven't remained.
03:11Yeah.
03:12Yeah.
03:12There's, so it's, it's, it's not like, who are you and how do we do this?
03:16It's just, it's just, uh, like comfy shoes.
03:19When can you do this?
03:20When, when's best?
03:21When are you available?
03:23Then we were like, let's go.
03:24And then you also said, because if you can't, I'm going to, I'm hiring somebody else.
03:27I did say, but that somebody else was Julie's mom.
03:32My mom, my mom really wanted to do it.
03:35She just kept screaming.
03:37I don't know how to act.
03:38We said, neither is Julie.
03:41She doesn't have a clue which you're going to be fine.
03:43That's a clue, buddy.
03:46Jodie's so happy right now.
03:48Was that a similar thing for you, Chris?
03:50Was it a no-brainer?
03:51Was it a no-brainer?
03:52Was it a no-brainer?
03:53Was it a no-brainer?
03:54Yes, it's a no-brainer.
03:56That's certainly what it was for me.
03:58A no-brainer.
03:59But thanks for asking.
04:01You're doing Irish!
04:02I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
04:03That's a lovely Irish accent Chris was doing there.
04:06Exactly.
04:07He couldn't get the McGavin out of him.
04:09I know this is it.
04:11He's an Irishman in the movie.
04:13Although McGavin does sound Scottish, I won't lie.
04:17It could be.
04:18Maybe you're right.
04:19My apologies.
04:19Wouldn't it be McGavin, though?
04:21M-A-C-G-E-R-I-N-D-I-N.
04:23OK.
04:24Anyway.
04:24No, not necessarily because I'm McCallum with M-C-E-C.
04:29Ah, interesting.
04:31Well, thank you for the intel.
04:32Perfect.
04:33But we are Celtic cousins, but do you know what?
04:35It's fine.
04:36Exactly, right.
04:36Exactly.
04:37Good.
04:38And just finally, guys, what does this franchise,
04:41what does Happy Gilmore, what does it mean to you?
04:43Because it's so loved, and people are so excited that it's backed.
