Trump: 'We Have A Vietnam Deal'

Speaking to reporters at JBA, President Trump said that the U.S. has a trade deal with Vietnam.

00:10Well, I might. I don't think it matters how much you release of the deal.

00:14We have a Vietnam deal.

00:17And I would say that that deal is being pretty well set.

00:21It's pretty well set.

00:22Again, that's an opening of their country.

00:24They've opened it up.

00:25Just so you know, these were closed countries.

00:27They were wonderful people, wonderful leaders, very strong, smart leaders.

00:31But their countries were closed to us, but our country wasn't closed to them.

00:36And so I said, you've got to open up your country.

00:39So we're going to see.

00:40But the Vietnam deal, we may open it.

00:42I mean, I don't know. I can't tell you.

00:44Is it necessary?

00:45No.

00:46Yeah, I don't think so.
