Kevin Carter, founder & CIO of EMQQ Global, says investors are missing out on China.
Transcript
00:00China became, quote unquote, uninvestable to a lot of investors, which was, I think, you know,
00:06silly. And I think that the things that led to that were completely misunderstood. I mean,
00:11the Chinese government isn't trying to kill the Internet. They do have to regulate. And,
00:15you know, when the Europeans regulate or the U.S. regulates or finds Google, you know,
00:21people don't run for the exits. But people are so afraid of the Chinese government,
00:25they think that they've, you know, coming to steal your money. And now I think that played out all
00:31the all of the fear. And we've had a pretty good, you know, comeback in the Chinese Internet names.
00:37And I think the you know, the reality is, if you step back and look at China now, it's essentially
00:45the most advanced country in the world. I mean, they dominate electric vehicles, they dominate
00:54solar. They are catching up very quickly in biotech. They dominate shipbuilding. So pretty
01:04much across the board, China has in the last decade really advanced. And if you look at the
01:13valuations, the companies are incredibly cheap.
