00:00Okay, boys have a call break expect to take a step back
00:05Don't deliberately throw punches on the back of the head protect yourselves at all times touch gloves. Good luck lads
00:30Oh
00:39Suck it down row
00:41Yeah, he is. 15-0. Five of those by stoppage, and I spoke to him yesterday's weigh-in.
01:07He's got the bit between his teeth, really wants to put in a good performance and desperate to fight for titles, ideally next time out.
01:17Victor Ianascu, 30-year-old.
01:22Sorry, Shannon.
01:24Sorry, what I like already is Niles already taking his head off the line, so nothing can come back.
01:31Yeah, good head movement, slipping on the outside, coming back inside, looking nice and composed, Barry.
01:36Do you know what he does very well, and you don't see it very often anymore?
01:39He uses his forearms to block shots, he doesn't just put his hands up, you'll see that the arm's actually moving to block the shots.
01:45So you see it there then. So he's being aggressive, he's moving his head, as Shannon said, but also he's using the clubs and the forearms to sort of parry the shots away
01:52to slide forward and put pressure on his opponent. He's always looking to be aggressive.
01:56Just poking out that jab, Ianascu, chin's coming a little higher. We've already seen Nile Brown throw that right hand as he does there.
02:04Very accurate with the shot, this is good work.
02:07Good jab to the body there as well, that was good there. That nice little movement there, just to take the emphasis away from the head.
02:13Lovely double left hook, there's that right hand just missing with the shot on that occasion.
02:20Looking nice and relaxed, Shannon.
02:22Yeah, for sure. I did see that he stopped a guy called Patrick Fiola with a right hand, and he's already established that right hand,
02:30so he calls himself the power as well, so we'll see if he gets that stoppage with that right hand.
02:34Yeah, we'll keep an eye out on that one. Speaking to Pat Barrett, the trainer.
02:39I asked him, how far do you think Nile Brown can go? And he says, honestly, all the way, work effort, he's learning all the time.
02:45He comes from a Muay Thai background, really says he's served his apprenticeship and getting about his work really, really well here.
02:54And one, his work ethic, but in the ring, he's busy, you see, he's busy.
02:57He's not rushing any of his work. He's always looking to be busy all the time.
03:00He's always giving you something to think about, always a problem.
03:03And with that, steered in your space and pushing you back.
03:06Yeah, really good variation again. Just finding the home for two left uppercuts.
03:10Oh, a nice left hook there. He needs to keep that right hand tucked up by Anasku.
03:15As you say there, Daniel Anasku, he lifts that chin up, but also sort of drops his hands and also widens the gap between each glove,
03:22which gives you an opportunity to pick your target quite comfortable.
03:26One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
03:29Yeah, Anasku, whoa, there's a left hook there.
03:30One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
03:34And there's that power from Noel Brown.
03:39It looks a little unsteady, Anasku.
03:43And saved by the Bell Barry.
03:46Do you know what? I don't think there was power in that shot. That was just really good time in the technique.
03:51He's walking onto the shot, just leaning back with that left hook and just caught him clean.
03:55to record it clean.
03:58.
04:03.
04:0610 seconds quarters
04:36Second's out, round two.
04:44You can see that beautiful left hook that landed at the end of that first round.
04:48As you said, Barry, those are power, just accurate with the shot.
04:56Credit to Ayn Ascu here, poking out the jab, but again, that chin dangerously high.
05:01And that's where Niall Brown, if he just jabs up and jabs down and bends his legs,
05:06he can literally, he got a free shot with that right hand,
05:08which means he can afford to lift the elbow up and bring a right door with the top bowler over.
05:14I think it's important as well that the fact that Niall's not come out rushing to get that stoppage as well.
05:19He had him hurt in that previous round.
05:22Good point, guys. Nice and good pause, isn't it?
05:24Yeah, down the back hook. Fat has worked really, really well here.
05:27The stalking is man, good footwork, good head movement, tucking up nicely.
05:31And Ascu does have six losses on his record, but does come from good company.
05:3863 wins, two losses and two draws is the combined record.
05:42He's coming off two stoppage wins as well, both in April.
05:45But this is good work from Brown, doubling up the left hook.
05:49Very, very good variation shown on the man from Stockport.
05:54Again, the concentration all the time. Again, let's see the way he moves that head, but also the arms and the shoulders working with it as well, the block shots coming forward.
06:05I'll tell you what he doesn't have. He doesn't have that typical sort of Muttall kickboxing sort of style.
06:10Oh, he looks like a conventional boxer. You know sometimes, I don't know if you know what I mean, these kickboxers that turn professional.
06:18They're quite upright and they flare their elbows out a little. It looks more a conventional boxer to me, Brown.
06:27Yeah, no, it's very good. I come from a kickboxing background, so I totally understand what you're saying there, where they've got the chins in the air or they're jumping up and down.
06:35But I love the fact that Gnar's very composed in his work.
06:38Switching to Southpaw, just getting his left foot across to try and find that left hook again, Barry.
06:43I mean, his shot slashing is pretty good, he's picking the right shot for the right time, but there is a gap through the middle.
06:49When he throws that right hand over the top, rather than left hook, dip the shoulder and bring the left hook through the middle.
06:55Nice little uppercut from Manasku there, just through the guard.
06:59Myle Brown said he's been sparring with, unbeaten, Carl Davies for this 1-10-0 fighter.
07:05Good preparation and really enjoying his work at the minute.
07:11Right to the body, followed by a left hook upstairs.
07:15Nice bit of control there from Brown.
07:23Nice spin-off as well from Nile Brown there, pinning Aynasku back on the ropes.
07:29Moldova just creeping forward.
07:33Base in Germany, Aynasku.
07:38Another good round for Nile Brown in the A Arena in Manchester.
07:43Blessed stood up.
07:48stagnant

08:07August 22,174
08:10August 30,175
08:10There is Pat Barrett, the intimidating figure that is Barrett.
08:40Very good fighter he was and a very good coach.
08:46Barry Jones.
08:50This is the third round we go. Anything you'd like?
08:54Look if you scared the mice to me, Barry Jones and mice.
08:59Anything you'd want to see from Brown as good as he's been, Shannon?
09:05I just think so far the shot selection, the variation has been superb.
09:10So I'm really liking what I'm seeing at the moment.
09:12Yeah, boxing nice, yeah.
09:14I think he can be a little bit more adventurous now.
09:16I think he's got a really bomb still.
09:18And kicking the shape is really important and he can really control.
09:21But I do think he can wing away a bomb now and again.
09:24Yeah, showing his levels here.
09:26I think he mentioned it as well with that right hand over the top.
09:28He can really turn into that shot.
09:30The jab of Ian Ascu is lazy.
09:33The chin, as we've mentioned numerous times, is high.
09:36A dream of his would be to fight Stockport County Football Club.
09:48He's got high expectations of himself once he achieves big things in his sport
09:53and that's good work to the body.
09:55Yeah, I love the body work.
09:57Composure. Very, very good from Brown.
10:03Tim was really good.
10:04The constant pressure with the feet.
10:06Even when he's not throwing, he's always a menacing figure in front of you
10:09and that tires you out.
10:10Even without the work ethic, just the walking forward,
10:13the shadow making you panic.
10:18Has been stopped a couple of times, Ian Ascu.
10:21But as I said again, against good fighters.
10:23He's going to have to work for the stoppage, Brown,
10:25but starting to up the tempo a little bit here.
10:28Oh, that's a good right hand.
10:31Just leaning back on the shot, Ian Ascu.
10:35The left eye of Brown, there.
10:37There's a little swelling underneath it.
10:39Something like whether that was inside of his glove
10:41when he's blocked the shot or something.
10:43There's a little restrictions for the hot over him.
10:45He's getting out of his glove when he's going to hurt him.
10:47Come on, come on, come on!
10:49One, two, two, two, one.
10:50One, two, two.
10:51One, two.
10:52One, two, two.
10:53One, two, two, one!
10:54One, two!
10:55Now, two, two, two.
10:56Come from the same gym as Robin Reid did, Noel Brown.
11:08Just looking around me here as well, in this arena.
11:14Started to take their seats here, which promises to be a cracky main event.
11:21And it does, Jack Cattrall by the new thing.
11:25That mustard in your brain is absolutely brilliant to support.
11:32You always knew you were going to get a well-schooled fighter.
11:36Nice jab to the body, good work. He's boxing nicely.
11:40Browning really is.
11:42Opting to stand in between rounds, Noel Brown.
11:55Have a look at these highlights.
11:57Shannon, impressed?
11:58I'm very impressed. I've seen him boxed once before.
12:01But I've loved what I'm seeing and I think he's going to go really far in this ball.
12:07Yeah, it's good. I mean, we're always looking for things, aren't we?
12:11So this will be a bit critical. I mean, I think he's letting him off the hook a little bit.
12:15I mean, I like the way he keeps control and hasn't taken any silly risks.
12:20But I do think it's been a fight here that he probably could afford to be a little more adventurous, like I mentioned earlier.
12:25So I don't think Brown is a big puncher. He's a correct puncher and he pressures you with volume.
12:33But I think if he let a few bombs go, with that foot pressure as well that he's showing, I think Elon Asker will cave in.
12:43But into the second half of this fight, will we see, as Barry called him, some big bombs detonated from Noel Brown.
12:51Perhaps a change in pace so far as Shannon has pointed out, boxing really, really well.
12:58I think Niall could add a few more feints. Just kind of surprised Victor with what he's going to do next.
13:05Trying to walk him onto the shot there, isn't he? That little jabbing and taking a little step back.
13:11Yeah, that was good work from Brown. Just missing with a heavy right hand there, but the right idea.
13:17Credit to Ion Asker coming forward, looking to force the pace himself.
13:22Again, that chin's high, Barry.
13:24That's what I was going to say, because he has his chin so high, you've got to be pushing him back.
13:28But the guy who puts his chin high, especially when he throws a shot, and the way he throws a shot is a little bit laboured.
13:33So if you push him back, you know when he throws, that chin's going to come up.
13:37He's going to be off balance because he's leaning back. Then you dip and swim.
13:41Leaning back on the shots, as you're saying.
13:44Obviously, Brown perhaps bring his feet in, take a double step.
13:47Look for that right hand, but showing us defensive skills on the back foot.
13:52Just blocking that left hook.
13:54Ion Asker.
13:56The double cut there from Brown.
13:59Yeah, he took a step back there, didn't he?
14:01Ion Asker.
14:05I think he's enjoying this though, Brown, isn't he?
14:07He's had a few hard fights for Eddie in his career.
14:09This is not one of them.
14:11He's enjoying this.
14:12Yeah, as I said, Pat Barrett was saying to me yesterday, he feels his serve, his apprenticeship,
14:17he's been on those small halls, as I mentioned, and he's had some tough fights,
14:21and feels he's ready now to be let off the leash.
14:25Challenged for some sort of titles, he's hungry, determined.
14:29Nice work, Shannon, behind that lead hand, doubling up the jab, head and body.
14:32Yeah, it's really good, really good body work as well.
14:35Just managed to take the sting out of that shot, didn't he, Ion Asker?
14:45Just sort of leant back on it.
14:47Come back with a long left hook then.
14:51He seems to unravel, doesn't he, Ion Asker?
14:54As soon as he starts letting the punches go in bunches, you see there, the head rocking back.
15:00Ion Asker, he's tucking up well there though, but again, the chin comes higher.
15:04Nice little step to the right hand side, going the left hook.
15:08That was good though from Ion Asker, intelligent, spinning, Brown.
15:12Back onto the ropes.
15:15Oh, and down goes Ion Asker again.
15:18Good work.
15:20Backed onto the ropes was Brown, and he's not going to make this count, Ion Asker.
15:25Oh, but he's up on nine.
15:29And he bravely gets to his feet.
15:31And again, right at the end of the round, but he sniffs victory here, Brown, and he's getting to work.
15:38Really letting the shots go.
15:40Will he survive this round? The bell goes, he does.
15:43But that's another terrific round from Noel Brown.
15:47Heavy onslaught of shots, Barry.
15:49Lovely.
15:50The finish, actually the finish there at the end of the round, he just couldn't get a clean shot on target.
15:54Referee Steve Bray looking to step in, but no clean shot managed, that's good refereeing.
15:58But the shot the left hook that hurt him, then the uppercut that helped him on his way.
16:02That was good work there from Brown.
16:04Impressive stuff, Shannon.
16:06Yeah, really good.
16:07I think this next round, he'll try and go to the body again and get him out of there.
16:11I think he should go for it now.
16:13I mean, he's got him hurt.
16:14Oh, it's been waved off, Barry, as you say that.
16:18The corner of Victor Onasko have seen enough.
16:22And you have to say the way that he's got the job done there in that round.
16:28Very, very impressive from Noel Brown.
16:31He moves to 16-0, gets his sixth stoppage.
16:36And will he get his request of fighting for a title next?
16:42I think he's a sellable product.
16:44I think he's a good looking kid.
16:45I think he talks quite well, if you have a little chat with him.
16:48He sells tickets.
16:49It's really early.
16:50There's already a lot of people in here already tonight.
16:52And he also, he's good to watch.
16:54But there's a little bit of vulnerability about him as well.
16:56He's technically quite good.
16:57But, you know, if you were a fighter at British level, like title level,
17:00you're thinking, oh, I can get to him.
17:02I could do stuff with him.
17:03But I think he's a hard man to beat.
17:05So I think he's a sellable product and a really good addition
17:07to that British super middleweight team.
17:09You can see Mr. Sauerland sat ringside next to Eddie Hernan.
17:14And he aligns with the desires of Niall Brown to fight for a title next.
17:19I think they're ready also to let him off the leash.
17:22And wins like that, they do you a favour.
17:26Yeah, very impressive performance.
17:29Pat Barrett and the rest of the team will be thrilled with their man, no doubt.
17:33And Darren, his last fight, he had a really good win against a fellow called Matt McCallum.
17:38Yeah.
17:39Who's not Mike McCallum.
17:40Matt McCallum.
17:41But who's a really, really tough hard fighter.
17:44And he did a really good job.
17:45And tonight, he had everything his own way.
17:47That left hook hurt him with the uppercut there.
17:49That's a bit of a win there.
17:50He panicked there.
17:51I ask her looking for the floor.
17:52But this shot here, the left hook did the damage originally.
17:55But that shot there, already under pressure.
17:58Yeah, he didn't want any more.
17:59And he would have went out there in the next round.
18:01Shannon got the stoppage, I'm sure.
18:03Yeah, no.
18:04Very, very impressive.
18:05Nile Brown.
18:06Very good performance.
18:07Composed.
18:08Yeah, very composed performance.
18:10What was good there as well, as you were calling for Barry.
18:13You know, like a heavy shot or a change of pace.
18:15Just when it started to slow down a little bit, he responded.
18:20He did what he had to do.
18:21He was coasting and he could have coasted the remainder of the fight.
18:24He didn't.
18:25He wanted to get the job done.
18:26He's a tall guy who could probably box more, but he's a pressure fighter.
18:29That's what he is.
18:30He doesn't have loads of power, I don't think.
18:31But he's a pressure fighter who's very economically good.
18:35So he doesn't rush his work.
18:36And that's about how a man defeats.
18:38I tell you what, he's got a future.
18:39Yeah.
18:40Well, let's throw it back to our MC, Mrs. David Diamante.
18:49Ladies and gentlemen, referee Steve Gray accepts the Red Corner's retirement
18:53at the end of round number four, declaring your winner by TKO.
18:58Here we go.
18:59He's still undefeated.
19:01Nile.
19:02The power!
19:03Brown!
19:04Yeah, moves to 16-0, Nile Brown.
19:07In very impressive fashion there, getting the job done.
19:13Stopping Victor Ioannascu.
19:17Will he get his dream of fighting for a title next time out?
19:22I'm out.
19:23I'm out.
19:24I'm out.
