00:00Yeah, I mean, you said that, you know, fair enough, that they can also bring up to, in one case, you seem to know about, there are about 14, you know, family members with them as well, which I don't think this scheme was designed for.
00:11And it's led to people in certain towns in Britain now clocking why their local council was so keen to develop housing for Afghans.
00:21And, you know, but this is a betrayal, isn't it? This is a lie. And this is why people kick off, Bob, isn't it?
00:28It is why people kick off. And as I say, Patrick, I mean, look, Afghan war is now receding into history.
00:36And, you know, I think Trump's behaviour was not great over the Afghan war because he pulled out at very short notice blaming Biden.
00:43So we had a moral duty to some of the people who serve with us.
00:46But we also increasingly government and the system has a responsibility above all to the British people.
00:53And there is a very clear sense, and I see it all the time, and so do you, that the British people are fed up with a system that seems to prioritise others.
01:02So if you're an Afghan, the system will work for you. If you're an illegal immigrant, the system will work for you.
01:06If you're the Mauritian government, the system will give you £35 billion.
01:10You know, if you're a developing world country who spouts out some nonsense on climate change, the system will hand over £10 billion.
01:17But, you know, if you're a law-abiding citizen and you live in a number of towns in this country where, you know, you've got very poor community relations or you've had grooming gangs,
01:27the system hasn't wanted to listen for 10, 20 years. I understand that. And actually, I feel people's anger.
01:32Yeah, just so sorry, I think it was Biden that pulled out of Afghanistan, though, wasn't it? It wasn't Trump.
01:38Yeah, but it was Trump. It was a Trump deal.
01:40OK, I see what you mean. Just sorry, very quickly, Bob, on this now.
01:44You know, it's all very well and good saying, you know, OK, all right, people feel betrayed and all of that.
01:50But, I mean, the idea that the government might have secretly flown in like a sex offender and plonked them in someone's area,
01:57I mean, were these people even vetted properly?
01:59Some weren't, is my gut feeling. And it's quite clear that, like you, I've been reading the fact there are some people who we gave a very firm no to
02:09because of those sorts of reasons and are now in anyway. And you can pretty much guarantee.
02:14Oh, look, I wish all these people who serve with us are deeply honourable and actually become good British citizens like you.
02:20I worry that quite a few won't. And quite a few have, you know, a either an Afghan or, you know, a Pashtun culture,
02:28which has a very different set of sexual and moral and ethical mores than what is acceptable in this country.
02:34And that's why people are angry. And I feel that anger.
02:36And I pray for fear.
02:38Like, we're not slaughtered.
02:42But the People are angered.
02:44And I don't think it's a bit traumatic in this country around!
02:46And I buy some people in this country under my issue,
02:51which is not only wanna hear about the condition.
02:53And I'm trying to tell you I'm notанд send a message uh you know,
02:55but I don't always warn you
02:57that I probably don't know and we quiere a name.
03:00So maybe I Heavenly Father in this country.
03:01And my glory because I want you to ask them to honor them
