00:00Last year there was a time where I didn't want to play footy. I was underweight physically,
00:04mentally wasn't right and I took that Tasha Gale season off and made sure that I did the
00:10hard yards, I put on 10 kilos, I went and saw a sports psych and I sorted myself all out because
00:16I think it's important to know just if you're physically getting it done like you need mentally
00:21to work your body just as much and yeah that definitely the hard work has paid off because
00:27I feel like if I didn't go through all that last year I wouldn't be playing. I struggled with body
00:32image so much growing up. I was always very muscular but skinny and tall. I was always getting called a
00:38boy or like muscly through high school, primary school and it took a massive toll on me. I didn't
00:42want to go to the gym anymore and eating as well. I always like skipped meals just to make sure I
00:47wasn't like bulking but it started to show on the footy field. I was getting picked up, driven back
00:52like I wasn't winning tackles, I wasn't getting through as much as I used to when I was younger
00:56because everyone was putting on weight, putting on muscle and I just like refused to
01:00look like that because I saw it as such a negative thing. It was such like a, I wish I could just go
01:05back and stand out for myself but at the time it just like, it just used to rock me like I'd be like
01:09oh my god. At the end of last year I was like 62 kilos and now I'm 75 so I did hard work. Having
01:17the strength and the even like the eating more it's giving me like more energy and then I feel more like
01:24it's like yes I've got training where like before where I wasn't eating, wasn't doing any of
01:28that like I hated footy and it was so sad because footy was like my like my go-to like if I wanted
01:34a break footy was my break where it just completely flipped and used to cry after trainings, before
01:39trainings, it was like the six months it was like just a, couldn't recognize myself at all, it was crazy.
