As Marcus and Frances are walking home, Marcus hears bells ringing. They go to the church to investigate. The gate is locked and Frances climbs over. Marcus, who can't climb, heads home. On the path he thinks someone is following him. He starts walking faster and breathing heavily and has to use his inhaler. When he gets to the stream, gasping for air, someone pushes him into the stream with a walking stick. A note floats next to him "Who Put Him In?
