“BJP won’t even open account in Kerala”: Congress Leader Ramesh Chennithala hits back at Amit Shah

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), July 13, 2025 (ANI): Kerala Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala dismissed Amit Shah’s statement about BJP forming the next government in the state. Chennithala asserted that BJP won't even be able to open its account in Kerala.

00:30So all these things have created a lot of issues in the state

00:40So I feel that this has to be encouraged properly.

00:43How is your reaction on the appointment of the state?

00:48See, Rastavadi has got every right to nominate Rajya Sabha members,

00:55but those people, nomination has to be done.

01:00The earlier practice is that those who are having excellent record in various fields,

01:07they are being nominated.

01:09Sachin has been nominated, he says he is a king in the cricket,

01:16and so many other people were nominated because of their excellent record in their own fields.

01:26But he is only a party man.

01:28How can they nominate him, a party man, in this kind of a category?

01:34I don't understand. How can they do it?

01:37Sir, yesterday Mr. Pramit Shah criticised both Yogi for an entity of underwear.

01:43He said their fact record is of corruption.

01:47How do you see that? He also said that the BJP will form government in 2016.

01:52That is his wish.

01:54BJP will not open an account in Kerala.
