00:00:27the standard one for like 30 i think it was like 30 or 35 bucks but i'm like dude this is like one of

00:00:34my favorite vampire games of all time like dude you need to get the collectors plus it wasn't even

00:00:41that pricey it was only like 50 bucks dude so just like the power rangers uh redo's white rewind

00:00:49collector's edition it was 50 bucks as well so yeah it takes me back to the old days when games were

00:00:55like 50 bucks but i love how like some developers i mean some not all because you know modern gaming

00:01:03is kind of getting shitty nowadays you know some of them will actually put care into like a little

00:01:10collector's edition as it were not charge up the wazoo but um yeah so excited about this one so let's

00:01:19go ahead and take a look it's packaging so we got a pretty sweet ass like slip cover here

00:01:26so it shows like the little claw marks from raziel and you can see him peering into your soul

00:01:33it's like yeah i just hope you're not a wraith so he absorbs your soul

00:01:40well yeah that is such a cool cover i'm like i had to get it like seriously

00:01:47hands down okay so on the side got the logo name of the game here

00:01:54so it's by aspire same people who did the uh tomb raider uh remasters so definitely excited

00:02:03all right let's take a look at the back ski here all right celebrate soul reavers 25th anniversary

00:02:13damn 25 years old that is insane experience the epic conflict of keen raziel in original form

00:02:21or with remastered graphics centuries after your former master keen betrays and execute you you rise

00:08:07you had all these cool different ways of like killing vampires but then when you're fighting against the

00:08:12humans it's like kind of disappointing in that regard i mean the combat was cool

00:08:19just the death animations could have been way better

00:08:24like a nice little reward after finishing off your foes you know

00:08:27oh yeah that's the savior of the vampires

00:08:35oh man that that freaking plot twist man i'm not gonna spoil it for anyone hadn't

00:08:41played the games but it's a doozy i'll tell you that

00:56:25And here I discovered the source of the displacement.

00:56:32Laid out like a holy relic.

00:56:37Apparently in the battle between William and Cain.

00:56:41I had not thought such a thing was possible.

00:56:43Except from stone, this is like full on.

00:56:45Until the first Cain shattered the blade against me when he tried to strike me down.

00:56:49Thus the captive spirit inhabiting the Reaver was released.

00:56:54And binding itself to me became my symbiotic weapon.

00:57:00And so the Reaver met its former self, still imprisoned in this corporeal shell.

00:57:07I watched, mesmerized, as the wraith blade uncoiled itself and snaked down the length of physical blade.

00:57:15Embracing its twin, its mirror self, the Reaver's long dormant spirit was now fully aroused.

00:57:23And for the first time, I felt the true presence of this other entity.

00:57:28Willful, ravenous, and deranged from thousands of years of imprisonment.

00:57:34The Reaver was now in command.

00:57:37And I, now merely its helpless host, felt my soul being leeched to restore the blade.

00:57:45That's so pretty cool.

00:57:50The Reaver knew better than to destroy its host.

00:57:53And just as I neared the brink of oblivion, the blade released its hold on me.

00:57:58As I recovered, I realized we were now bound together in a fragile alliance.

00:58:04The Reaver no longer merely my symbiotic weapon, but a sentient parasite competing for control.
