04:31table we've done all of them the lighter guys are the more you have to do the
04:37more you have to be aware of heavyweights get away with having a
04:40couple punches yeah lightweights cannot yeah now and a lot of times they win by
04:44the slightest of margins because you know you're not getting a bunch of
04:48knockouts not getting the single punches that are really making a huge
04:50difference it's it's really activity and accuracy and boxing IQ but by deal has
04:56decent power for this weight class he can put you down yeah it doesn't have a
05:00ton of knockouts only eight knockouts under 17 wins but that's a lot for this
05:03way but he's still strong he hurts guys good bodywork from Zapata once again
05:11that's nothing probably about skinny guys is those loopy body punches that you
05:15don't often see but you can hear them they're landing art he's got he's got
05:19heavy hands a lot of times those long guys like that they get that good
05:24trajectory on the punch those looping shots can land with some weight get

06:03round and a half they're both taking turns punching and neither guy punches when
06:06the other guy punches when two fighters set a rhythm the one that breaks the rhythm
06:09usually wins the one that you know takes the risk but it also it's also takes a certain
06:13amount of skill to do that then and you don't go to another level without having
06:16that that's a basic one he took an off-balance awkwardness Chris spot has got
06:29that space it makes it work man he's landing some good shots especially to the
06:32body he landed a right hook upstairs a few moments ago it definitely got the
06:37attention of a deal there's that body shot again doubles it up these guys are
06:44setting a torrid pace even though it's weird turn my turn there there's one

06:51between there's no there's no lack of action someone's always punching just
06:55when one guy's punching the other one's not right that's the thing so therefore the
06:59other guy can block everything

09:05fight which was just a bloody nightmare I turned to the guy next month are they all
09:10like this ago you know you see a lot of prospects get built in other countries
09:16they'll go to Dominican Republic though you know they go to Colombia whatever hey

09:28looks to me like my deal is the more comfortable guy and he's not oh again back

16:38They don't see it and it catches them. Oh, so it makes you want to power you that jab and then all of a sudden the thing comes around it

17:23He's tough knows how to make that awkward style work and he looks physically back in this fight

17:31He started seeing heavy punches come again, which is a good sign about balance being back
17:34And I was about this coming off a win where he got revenge from a draw earlier in his career. So he's riding high
17:43He's able to win tonight this would be his first win outside of Nicaragua
17:56What a moment that would be for him also it's again guaranteeing him at WBC title shot
18:02but that heel
18:04Really feeling confident a little micro movements. Yeah, you think an angle
18:09So much more successful and change of the punch angle as well and keeps the pot his hands home zero he is now
18:15But the pot ever is kind of a year term my turn guy
18:18And when you change the punch angles like that it does
18:21Force the pot to keep those hands home defendants and also Paulie
18:24It's it's the downside of having come an awkward style is you don't turn as effectively you're not gonna get over your skis a lot

18:31Well, he's also just trying to throw everything so hard, you know
18:34He's got heavy hands, but he's got he's long. He's got a generate power with momentum for those shots
18:39So does get him all balanced at times where but deal has much shorter punching better technique
18:44like that turn to the rack like I should wait around. I don't know what he's complaining about I
18:49Love I love when the deal puts his punch together short like that. He picks the spots really nice finds holes
18:54Just touches not loading up
18:56I'm going to show you when it's effortless. It looks it's smoother. It's harder time for the opponent

19:05But these are just wait flyweights to this they don't flyweights. It's the way they fight
19:09Minds me I'd like I like a chocolate to toe who's constantly punching and sliding
19:15And you know my deal was saying that he was uh you can get some great sparring with some tip-top guys
19:20Quadras was a fantastic Mexican fighter down at these lower weights. That's that's awesome work
19:25Good action round so far here a good action fight and slow down at all. No, this is this is full-on

22:27You got a guy with experience as Zapata is it keeps you busy keeps you on your p's and q's keep you sharp
22:32But just not good enough to beat you so it's perfect
22:46Smooth transitions there from badio as he steps around stays invisible even though he's right in front of you
22:52But again back comes the pot with those heavy hands
22:57She's about to now fighting at the orthodox position. Yeah. Yeah switched up
23:02Final for the guy, you know, what's what it was gonna do. I might as well be a little more awkward. I guess
23:12Little adjustments left and right for my deal. There's that push off. I'm surprised he hasn't been warned for that for the push off

24:23And that replay with a nice shot where zapata went down low with the right hook to the body
24:27Baddiel caught it on the elbow and came back with a big hook and straight left hand popped the head back like a pen dispenser
24:33And zapata having less success with that moving back of a deal with video would move back head up and take a shot
24:42Not doing that as much now. We know it is
24:45The awkwardness is being less and less effective because the fundamentally sound but do is starting to pull away
24:52Fundamentals always work they work against guys who are clean they work against guys who were awkward
24:56But by deal certainly finding the target with those short crisp punches
25:10Certainly looking what isn't a guy who looks like he can get a title shot. It's like he can be a world champion. That's what we're seeing tonight

26:20Badio does have knockouts eighth round 10th rounds. He does have some late knockouts on his resume
26:29But spots are not going away. He's learned some good punches in this round
26:33No, it's about to get himself right back into this fight
26:40A little bit deal was just to take a half step back and punch or what happened, you know
26:47I know he keeps punches short and even so he does smother himself, but he knows how to keep his punches nice and short
26:52What if you know to create just enough space besides pushing off he's knocked out three of his last four opponents
26:56So the power is certainly there or at least the volume to knock opponents out late
27:02Both these guys keep catching each other on the way out as their opponents trying to evade
27:06But not evading deceptively and getting caught good body shot inside from zapata, but the majority of the work the touches are coming from a deal
27:23For me the heavier punches are coming from zapata, but it seems like the more effective clenches. Yeah, the more accurate. Yeah are coming from a deal
27:30And also, but deal keeps them shorter so you can put them together
27:35More consistent to reach out there by the pot on
27:38To close the gap and definitely not your turn my turn anymore. These guys are no winging shot. They opened up, you know
27:47Well, they're showing their class

28:30fighter from nicaragua's been thrown with power, but outlanded so far by eric by deal if you said down in round number four
28:37Combinations like this one very effective for badio. Yeah, very accurate finding holes in the defense good nice clean work
28:44Zapata's landing good heavy shots here in there, but for the most part

29:43Look at the total punches landed badio a sizeable lead on that last round 30 to 17 before that
29:5024 to 9 over 200 punches ended so far
29:53I mean we said minimum flies throw a lot these guys happen
29:59First three rounds were closed but Badio has pulled away since then yeah, he separated himself once that knockdown happened

30:23We mentioned how when you got two southpaws a lot of time selfless aren't used to fighting southpaws
30:42You kind of see that because both guys have really dispensed with the Jeff. Yeah, they're just walking in and trading power shots

30:51Very nice subtle stuff here this round from Badio very smooth footwork little micro steps left and right

31:01And it's a pot is being confused the kid is you know can't find them
31:05You can't punch back. We can't find your opponent
