00:00Hello, you adorable little munchkin. How you doing? How you doing? You're looking great as always, always.
00:04I'm gonna be honest. I'm not doing that great. I'm kind of sick. If you hear me sniffling at all,
00:09I'm gonna try not to or sneezing. Thank you for always saying bless you, by the way. I hear you. I hear you say it.
00:14I apologize. Um, but you know, no rest for the wicked and especially those that report on the wicked.
00:20But anyway, let's get into what we're talking about today, okay?
00:23We're kind of dipping our toes into drama and a little bit of true crime as well.
00:28So I wouldn't necessarily call this a true crime video, but it's like a true crime current event drama video, TikTok drama video.
00:36It's fun. It'll be fun. I don't know why I'm doing this. Maybe it's because I called you a munchkin.
00:39I'm thinking of chipmunks or something. I don't know. I don't know.
00:41I'm in a weird mood today, and it's gonna get weirder, so buckle up.
00:45Anyway, I've been seeing this particular character come across my TikTok for you page,
00:50and I was confused to say the least because this character is Wade Wilson.
00:56And no, not that Wade Wilson. I wish, honestly, but this is an actual real-life person, and not just a real-life person.
01:05A real-life POS, alright? A murderer that has gone viral on TikTok for being devilishly handsome, even though he's murdered people!
01:17We've basically been living in a Ted Bundy-esque moment, and I have kind of not even realized it, and I'm kind of embarrassed.
01:23I haven't been on top of this, but we're gonna get into this case.
01:26We're gonna tell you about this person, who he was, what he's done, what's happening to him now.
01:32What the f*** is going on with TikTok and these thirsty-ass freak slingblank that are making thirst traps of him.
01:40And, yeah, sorry, I'm riled up right now. Let's get into it.
01:51Wade Wilson's fate will come down to a judge on Tuesday.
01:54Will the convicted Cape Coral double-murderer go to prison for life, or be sentenced to death?
01:59Both the state and defense ready for trial this morning.
02:02Yes, Your Honor. Yes.
02:03Those words marked the start of what would be a relatively quick trial for Wade Wilson.
02:07He was accused of killing Christine Melton and Diane Ruiz.
02:10So, who is Wade Wilson?
02:12Wade Stephen Wilson was born on May 20th, 1994, and he was born to very young parents.
02:18They were around 14 and 15 when they had them.
02:21His mother was a drug addict, unfortunately, and had many, many mental health issues, and his father was absent entirely.
02:29So, Wade would be adopted by a family that went to church with the mother's family, and they would be the Wilsons.
02:36And the Wilsons appeared to be a relatively regular family.
02:39They went to church on Sunday, had a very nice home, drove luxury cars, and tried to ensure that Wade was growing up in a very healthy home.
02:47And early in his life, his adopted parents said that he was a completely normal child.
02:51But something flipped the switch at around the age of 13, and he began to act very differently.
02:57Hormones, am I right? Just kidding, most of us just break out and get some hair in weird places.
03:02But this guy, this guy did some other stuff. I don't think you can blame it on puberty.
03:05One of the classmates would describe Wilson's adoptive parents as super friendly people, church-going people, and meant well, and wanted the better for him.
03:14People would say that Wade basically had the world given to him, so it's not like he grew up in bad conditions.
03:20Despite his biological parents, he wasn't raised by them.
03:23So he grew up in the most ideal situation ever, basically.
03:27And Wade would admit later on that when he was a teenager, he would get heavily into drugs.
03:33And this was reflected in his behavior at school and at home.
03:36He also became a recluse, and he became super paranoid as well.
03:41He would always keep the blinds closed at home because he always felt like somebody was watching him or his family.
03:46And another instance of paranoia was when Wayne demanded that the cops be called to his home after he repeatedly told his family that someone was in the garage.
03:55But upon further investigation, no one was there.
03:57And Wade wouldn't be any better at school.
03:59While he was an average student, he got in trouble a lot.
04:03Wade and his friends would walk around school in black hoodies, and they would stand out behind the school.
04:08They would often smoke weed in the bathroom and even light toilet paper rolls on fire.
04:12And this would lead to Wade being expelled on numerous occasions for reckless behavior.
04:17Which, like, at this point, okay, like, those things rel-
04:20I mean, you shouldn't be lighting shit on fire, but relatively, you know, not that bad yet, I would say.
04:26But it'll get worse.
04:27One of his classmates who was a female would say,
04:29He would always wear this black hoodie with his hood over his head, and my former boyfriend did the same thing.
04:35They always look so eerie together.
04:37Just like, at 6.30 in the morning, the sun hasn't come up yet.
04:40You just see them on the side of the building, and I'm like,
04:43Oh, Wade, those are my friends.
04:44She would also claim that Wade did not respect authority figures at all, just to pile on everything else.
04:50And furthermore, multiple female classmates have come out talking about his horrible treatment of women in high school.
04:57And if that's not a glaring precursor of what's to come, I don't know what is.
05:01And one woman would claim to be Wade's former girlfriend, from about 2012.
05:05And she would say that he was extremely disrespectful to her, and would cheat on her multiple times.
05:10Which, again, isn't, you know, it's not crime-worthy or anything, but it's just-
05:14We're building that- we're building that building.
05:17You know, we're building that little- we're- building blocks.
05:20We're building the Jenga serial killer structure right now, alright?
05:25Alright, and another ex of his said that after they broke up, he stole money from her book bag while they were in class.
05:32And he would get away with it because nobody fessed up.
05:34But, she knew it was him.
05:35Again, not that, you know, it's- he's a piece of shit, but like, just another little- little-
05:41little Lincoln log thing.
05:44What do you put in a f***er?
05:45Jenga- a Jenga piece.
05:46Anyway.
05:47And recently, with all the news coverage on this particular trial, another ex-girlfriend, Kelly Matthews, has come out speaking against Wade.
05:54They would meet online at around 2018, and things would seem to be going fine until Wade started using cocaine.
06:00One night, they would get into a fight, and she searched his bag for cocaine.
06:04And this would unfortunately cause Wade to snap.
06:07He would kick open the door to the room that she was in, and throw her on the kitchen table.
06:12And from there, things would only continue to get worse.
06:15Kelly had convinced Wade to go to a nearby rehab facility.
06:18But he would back out last minute, and he would want to go to one that was three hours away in Florida Keys.
06:24And this would lead to another fight in the parking lot with Kelly, where Kelly alleged that Wade was just wanting to go further away to be with another woman.
06:31And when they got back in the car, Wade would begin to choke Kelly until she blacked out.
06:36He would then throw her on the floorboard of the car, and then get a knife out to cut her clothes off.
06:42And he would break her foot in the door by slamming it shut on it.
06:46And then he would gag her, bind her, and then unfortunately SA her as well.
06:52Just a giant f***ing block on this f***ing jaggy, you piece of s***.
06:57How, like, I just don't, we're not even, we're not even in the tiktok f***ing s*** yet about people, like, fantasizing about being with this guy.
07:06He's a monster.
07:08He's a f***ing monster.
07:10Like, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, anyway.
07:13It's okay, there's good news at the end of all of this, so stay tuned.
07:15Um, anyway, just f***ing terrible.
07:17And when that was done, Wilson would go to a f***ing McDonald's drive-thru with Kelly in the back.
07:24Still bound and gagged, by the way.
07:27And eventually he would park and he would free her.
07:30And then he would hand her the car keys, get out of the car, and then jump into a different car with another woman and drive away.
07:41What?
07:42Kelly would then obviously speed to the nearest police station, where detectives would do nothing.
07:48After a police interview, Wilson would say, quote,
07:51Matthews was s*** was into that kind of thing.
07:55Into being f***ing assaulted and then made to listen to your f***ing McDonald's order gagged in the back of the seat?
08:04What the f***?
08:05So the police would chalk it up to being an intense, sexual fetish and let Wade off scotch-free.
08:13Classic police moment, sorry.
08:15I'm just kidding.
08:16I'm just kidding.
08:17Police are good.
08:18We need police.
08:19My brother's a police officer.
08:20He's s***ing awesome.
08:21Alright.
08:22Anyway.
08:23And this event would occur only a few months before Wilson would kill Kristen Melton and Diane Ruiz.
08:27And it's also important to note that Melton was gagged in the same way that Matthews was.
08:31Showing that Kelly probably came very, very close to death.
08:36And that Wade just basically practiced this maneuver on her before killing Melton.
08:41So much for sexual fetishes.
08:43Hey.
08:44Hey.
08:45I don't know who I'm yelling at.
08:46I'm just mad.
08:47I'm just mad.
08:48Wade Steven Wilson is a completely unhinged murderer who took the lives of two innocent women.
08:53Within hours of each other, by the way.
08:56And even almost killed a third.
08:59Five years after the gruesome murders of two Cape Coral women, Wade Wilson has finally learned his fate.
09:05Count one.
09:06First degree murder of Christine Melton.
09:08The defendant is hereby sentenced to death.
09:11Wilson showed no emotion as he was sentenced to death for the 2019 murders of 35-year-old Christine Melton and 43-year-old Diane Ruiz.
09:19And it would take five years for his murder trial to move forward to determine his punishment.
09:24Originally, a judge would recommend the death penalty.
09:27And Wade was set to find out whether or not he would be sentenced to death in July.
09:32But because a doctor had not been able to perform inspections on Wilson, his trial had to be pushed back to August.
09:38Convicted murderer Wade Wilson was in court today for a motions hearing to delay his sentencing.
09:43Now his attorneys say they need more time to prepare because they're still waiting for reports from their medical experts.
09:49The judge didn't want to immediately hear from the attorneys.
09:52Instead, he called the doctors in question.
09:55So on August 27th, 2024, my dog's birthday, two good things happened.
10:00It was my dog's birthday.
10:01Shout out to Kevin.
10:02He's sleeping on the floor.
10:03And second, Wade Wilson was sentenced to death.
10:06Now I know some people might not be on the same page with that.
10:09I mean, I don't know.
10:10Honestly, I don't know what is best.
10:12Whether to rot in prison for, you know, 50 plus years or however long it takes you to die.
10:18Or to just be sentenced to death.
10:20I don't know.
10:21I don't really have an opinion on it.
10:22I just know this person's a piece of garbage shit fire.
10:25That's all I know.
10:26And additional charges included battery, grand theft, burglary, and petty theft.
10:31And now one might think this must be a run-off-the-mill trial basically at this point.
10:37He gets convicted, mug shots are released, and he's sentenced to death.
10:41And the families involved get to move on finally.
10:43However, this is not the case.
10:46Because over the span of the recent trial, he has grown an online following of women trying to free him because they think he's hot.
10:59What is wrong with you?
11:01Wade Wilson's receiving an interesting number of messages from the outside.
11:05The Lee County Sheriff's Office says that Wade Wilson has received 3,903 messages since June 12th of this year.
11:14He's feeding a lot of messages from it.
11:17He's feeding a lot of messages from this point in the room.
11:19He's crushing it's ungr GRÜN.
11:20He's trying to see where he's nyaed and not to get him from the inside.
11:21He's following him.
11:22He's cleaning your uterine.
11:23He's taking him from the inside and he's cleaning hands, and he's like okay.
11:24I'm just gonna get him.
11:25He's taking him off to the outside of the inside of the outside.
11:26Like what the actual WWF?
11:30And what makes this entire situation absolutely disgusting is when you take that birds eye view,
11:37are just wishing for his release just purely based off of how he looks. The fact that someone
11:44is conventionally attractive and is able to kill two people, almost three, almost four,
11:52if you talk about Kelly as well, but a portion of the public just turns a blind eye towards
11:57these crimes because they're good looking. It's f***ing crazy. There's support groups,
12:02TikTok posts, and comments all running to Wade Wilson's support. And it's gotten out of hand
12:07pretty quickly. There's literally an Instagram account called Wade Stephen Wilson's Official,
12:13where the entire account is basically just a support page. And it has around 16,000 followers.
12:19These are 16,000 people that are on board with freeing a man that essayed, tortured, and murdered
12:27multiple women. Are you okay? Not you, the person watching this. You're probably fine. But like to
12:32these people, what the f*** is wrong with you? And this led me down the rabbit hole of all the
12:37support pages there are for Wade Wilson. And this particular one seems to be the biggest hub
12:41for the community. And on a live stream uploaded to YouTube, this girl named Maria talked about how
12:46the live might get taken down, but Team Wade is resilient. And this resilient group has done a lot
12:54to raise their support for Wade Wilson. So much so that they're selling merch to support him. What kind
13:01of merch are you selling? Let's look at the merch. Oh my god. What in the ass? This is what is wrong
13:08with people? But yeah, it's crazy to me that people can make edits of murderers to make them seem cool
13:14or like baller or whatever the kids are saying these days. Like it's almost like it's satirical,
13:20like it's a joke, but it's not. It's not. And you can tell by the comments and the support that they're
13:25showing in the comment section. I would like to point out that it is probably a genuine mental
13:30illness to put a murderer on a pedestal. And that is currently on death row. But according to
13:37Professor Amanda Vickery, she states that women are attracted subconsciously to dominant figures,
13:44like a hunter-gatherer time. And who is more dominant than an actual f***ing killer? I feel like
13:50that'd be a red flag for me. But who am I to say? According to evolutionary psychology, we today are
13:56still attracted to the things that would have helped us survive back in our ancestral past.
14:02Think hunter-gatherer environment. It's this combination of this sort of bad boy dominant male
14:07image and this level of fame, this celebrity, and the idea that if I attach myself to that,
14:12I too could become a celebrity and famous. They're attracted to that trait that this is a
14:17bad boy dominant male. There is too much f***ing Wattpad and romance smut novels going around.
14:24These bitches are crazy. They're f***ing crazy. They're reading too much. They're reading too much,
14:29I think. I don't know what it is. Or like Fifty Shades kind of type. But he doesn't murder anyone.
14:34It's not like he's a vigilante either. Like he's murdering bad people. He's just literally murdering
14:39you, the people that are putting him on a pedestal. So I just can't wrap my head around this. I don't
14:45think that this is a excuse for the women. She's just explaining what it is, I guess. And the
14:52general demographic for this is like the age of 40 middle-aged women who basically probably just
14:59read, like I said, smut and are like crime obsessed to the point of putting themselves in
15:06the victim's seat. Like they're kind of mentally ill themselves. So I almost feel bad for them,
15:11you know. And there are outliers here, obviously. But from what I've been able to find, it is around
15:16this age group. And like I said, I don't know where the hell this support is coming from,
15:20but there are a lot of people that are supporting him. So much so that there's a fundraiser that raised
15:26over $70,000 for this piece of s***. $70,000 to a man who has killed two people. What? And they call
15:37for their dear friends and supporters to help prove Wade Wilson is innocent and fight for him
15:43to receive a new fair trial. And I thought this website was fake, but it's real. You can actually
15:50donate to this website. I didn't. Can you believe it? I didn't. But it's real and it's insane. And it
15:55doesn't stop there because you can see the support in the comment section in this fundraiser as well
16:00saying like, help him get a free trial. We support you Wade. Justice for Wade. And these people are begging
16:07for donations for an actual real life murder. It's just crazy. The simping is next level and so much
16:14so that he's actually received hundreds of nudes from his female fans. I don't know how he's receiving
16:22these, like via like actual mail or if it's like a phone. I don't know. But I believe it's like via the
16:27internet. How is he getting access to the internet also? What is going on? He's literally on death row
16:32right now. What? This was during his trial, but still. And there are so many people sending him
16:37letters as well. There's over 4,000 that have been sent. And this has gotten so out of hand that the
16:43case prosecutors are telling the fans to stop. They know of Wade Wilson garnering such a positive
16:48public response despite his crimes. And it's honestly f***ing insane. They said, I would hope that people in
16:54the community would conduct themselves differently and remember that two beautiful, innocent young
16:59women died because of this person. People need to distinguish reality from fiction. This is not a
17:06f***ing TV show. This isn't a smut book. This is a real life murderer who killed two beautiful,
17:12innocent women. And yet people are still supporting his posts, comments, and even fundraisers, which is
17:18just insane. And what's even more insane is that Wade Wilson's case isn't an isolated incident. The
17:25disturbing trend of romanticizing criminals on social media is just the tippity top of the iceberg.
17:32I mentioned Ted Bundy already, which I'm sure most of you know about. I actually covered him here if
17:37you want to go watch that video. But time and time again, we've seen convicted killers gain an almost
17:43cult-like following online or even offline before there was an online like Ted Bundy. Most of which
17:49are consisting of women because we do be crazy. We do be crazy sometimes. But these people are quite
17:55literally glorifying these murderers, these f***ing criminals when they should be universally
18:02condemned. All right. But this behavior isn't just bizarre. It's a symptom of something much darker
18:08lurking beneath the surface.
18:10You killed a mother and a daughter. No one else in this city but you did, Cameron.
18:15This is a particularly difficult case. On count one, the court's going to adjudicate and defend
18:20guilty. Sentence into nine years in Florida State Prison. On count two, same charge. Court will
18:26adjudicate and defend guilty. Sentence into 15 years in Florida State Prison. That'll run the consecutive
18:31count one. For a total of 24 years in Florida State Prison.
18:35In May 2018, 24-year-old Jessica Riesinger was lawfully crossing the street in Tampa, Florida
18:43while pushing her 20-month-year-old daughter, Lilia. And the young family would be struck by a Ford
18:48Mustang traveling at the speed exceeding 100 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone. And to save her
18:56daughter, Jessica would push the stroller ahead to move her daughter out of the path of the oncoming
19:02vehicle. But unfortunately, it was too late. They would both be struck. And while Jessica died
19:07immediately, Lilia would pass away the next day, succumbing to her injuries. Cameron Heron, an 18-year-old
19:13from the area, was the one behind the driver's seat with his brother in the passenger seat. He had been
19:19drag racing with his friend, John Barineau. And Cameron was charged with two counts of vehicular
19:25homicide with a total of 24 years in prison. Doesn't sound like enough to me. It would take
19:30three years for the sentencing to come down. And the social media landscape surrounding Cameron
19:36became horrifying. People began posting videos on TikTok standing with Cameron, simping for him,
19:43and trying to argue his innocence. He killed a mother and child. A mother that was trying to save her
19:52child from your ignorant, dumb, piece of shit ass. Not you, Cameron. Doesn't matter. And even blaming
19:59irresponsible pedestrians. What? And people would even say he's too cute for jail.
20:08It's no such thing. It's no such thing. I hope terrible things are happening to him in there,
20:14to be honest. Like this post, the bravest man I've ever known, you're the real king, Cameron Heron.
20:19Dude, I can't. And some of the most insane claims coming from people with a very loose grip on reality,
20:28to say the least, were saying that this sentencing is gonna ruin his future. Oh, womp womp.
20:37Hashtag justice for Cameron became viral. And a petition that gained over 800 signatures with the
20:44same name says a lot about this sentiment. Cameron had no intention of killing anyone.
20:48He's innocent. And the U.S. government should understand that. He doesn't deserve 24 years
20:53in jail. He has his whole life ahead of him. He regrets his actions, which was reflected
20:58through his emotions in the courtroom. Everyone makes mistakes.
21:05Not like that, Tiffany. I don't know if her name's Tiffany. He seems to have faced a more greater
21:08consequence than others, but one event in your life shouldn't determine your future.
21:13Actually, that's how the f***ing justice system works, Tiffany, you dumb f***ing b***h.
21:17We all make decisions we regret when we are young, but that doesn't mean we have to give
21:20up our whole lives to repent. Cameron is an intelligent young adult who doesn't deserve
21:24this injustice. You can help make a change to this young boy's life. Cameron needs your
21:28halt.
21:29Cameron needs your...
21:30And they say that Cameron has his whole life ahead of them, but guess what? Jessica and
21:37Lillia don't. Remember them? The people he killed? And the husband and father that was
21:41left behind and has a life ahead of him, but his life has been ripped away because his family
21:47was ripped away from him because of Cameron, the person you're supporting, the murderer.
21:51If you dare request a chance to live out your dreams, when you eliminated all of mine, you've
21:57shown zero remorse. The truth behind this is that you are privileged. You killed a mother
22:04and a daughter. You did. No one else in this city but you did, Cameron.
22:11But there were so many people on Cameron's side that even his father, Chris, posted a video
22:16thanking everyone for the support. If I was a parent, if I was a parent and my son killed
22:24two people, you best believe I'd be on the other side of the court supporting the other
22:31people. All right? Because there's no excuse. There's just no excuse. Okay? There's consequences
22:36for your actions.
22:37So was the 24-year sentence enough or was it not enough? Well, in court while defending Cameron,
22:43the defense tried to paint this incident where Cameron made one dumb mistake, but the data
22:48pulled from the car's computer revealed that he had been driving recklessly like this for
22:54days. At one point, he had gone 160 miles per hour and all the times that he had driven
23:00this fast were during the day when pedestrians were about. So safe to say he's just an ignorant
23:07piece of shit. Falling in love with a person guilty of murder, intentional or not, simply
23:13because he's hot is terrible. But at least people would be smart enough not to simp over
23:19a serial killer, right? Oh, wait. We already talked about Ted Bundy, but there's also Jeffrey
23:25Delmer.
23:26A gruesome story leads off our newscast.
23:29Milwaukee police found body parts in a Northside apartment and now they wonder if they've uncovered
23:34some kind of death factory. It's Jeffrey Delmer, the serial killer and cannibal whose saga
23:40of evil has been given new life in the hit Netflix series, Monster.
23:44This was the scene earlier this morning. Police hired a private contractor to haul a refrigerator
23:49and a tank of acid out of the apartment in the 900 block of North 25th Street. Because
23:54of the acid, some neighbors were evacuated briefly. Police found parts of bodies leading them
24:00to believe the man they arrested is a mass murderer. Jeffrey is a name that should conjure images
24:05of horror and revulsion and just pure evil in your mind. He is one of the most notorious
24:11serial killers in history. And if you want me to cover more of that case, let me know
24:16down below. He was responsible though for the murders of 17 young men between the years
24:20of 1978 and 1991. And Dahmer's crimes, which most of you probably know, were as gruesome as
24:27they come. He would lure victims into his apartment where he would drug them, SA them, and ultimately
24:32kill them. Sometimes torturing them by drilling into their heads and putting hot boiling water
24:38and other liquids in there to make them his weird zombie companions. We'll get into that
24:43if you want me to actually do the video. It's f***ing crazy. But his depravity wouldn't stop
24:47there. Dahmer would go on to dismember his victims, preserving their body parts as trophies, basically.
24:52Some of the remains were even, wait for it, cannibalized. Oh, goody. And by all accounts,
24:58Dahmer was a monster in human form. And that's how he was like primarily remembered until an
25:03explosive Netflix series came out starring Evan Peters, which, love Evan Peters, I think he's a
25:08brilliant actor. But he's not Jeffrey Dahmer, people. Eat it.
25:13But anyway, he played Jeffrey Dahmer in this role. And there was a growing trend, particularly on
25:22platforms such as TikTok, romanticizing Dahmer. Dahmer specifically, not even Evan Peters, just like
25:28actual footage of Dahmer himself. Reducing his horrific acts to the subplot in their obsession
25:35with his physical appearance and perceived misunderstood nature. He's just confused. He's just mysterious.
25:42He doesn't know any better. What the? He f***ing ate people. He f***ing, he, he, he, can you, if this guy
25:50ate your f***ing aunt or your f***ing sister, I just, I can't, the more I think about it, the more my
25:56head hurts. Honestly, I think it hurts anyway. And this isn't only like baffling, but it's, it's extremely
26:01dangerous, you know? And it's a stark example on how the internet can just warp reality, transforming a
26:07sadistic killer into a dark, almost alluring figure. Like some of the comments on like the Dahmer
26:13thirst traps and, and interviews are crazy. I felt so sorry for him in the diner when his dad
26:18dismissed his feelings and he needed help. Yeah, I felt sorry for his childhood.
26:22But it wasn't just limited to TikTok either. People went to Cora of all places. Do people go
26:32on Cora? I guess. To ask if there was anybody else that sympathized with Dahmer. Is it strange to feel
26:37sympathetic towards a serial killer? Jeffrey Dahmer in particular, he just seems pathetic and sad and
26:42just desperate to relate to someone, which is not to negate the severity of the gruesomeness of what
26:46he did. But I really feel sorry for him. Anyone else? I mean, okay, so playing devil's advocate,
26:53you know, as human beings, we're very complex and people are brought up in very, very different
26:57situations. But I, if you were of sound mind to, you know, a relative degree, I think you are
27:04responsible for the actions that happen when you are an adult and your brain is fully formed. And
27:10this is just next level. Or even Cameron, I think when he's 24, I mean, he's responsible for what he
27:18did. He's not a child. He's a full blown-ass adult. Blown-ass adult? I don't know. I don't know. But yeah,
27:24I mean, you can have sympathy towards somebody's childhood, but I have no, I have absolutely
27:28zero sympathy for anybody that takes another person's life. I mean, in general, but also for
27:34no reason, just makes it even 10,000 times worse. But anyway, when this was going on on Cora shortly
27:40after the show aired, it was covered on YouTube by creators like Poncho. And you could find clips
27:45of a woman on TikTok simping over Dahmer in his video. Clips that are now deleted because they
27:50were so poorly received. Is there something wrong with me because I high key felt bad for Jeffrey Dahmer?
27:56I just don't understand how people are becoming so ignorant of the disturbing brutality displayed
28:06by actual serial killers or just killers in general, criminals in general. Like, is it an
28:11oversaturation of true crime centered content or just like weird, brutal, fetishized, like smut?
28:19I'm not sure. Are people just desensitized to this like horrific nature of these crimes because of what
28:25they consume? I'm not. And I'm somebody that consumes, oh, more probably true crime stuff than
28:32most people, honestly. And I am not desensitized to it all. Least of all, am I attracted to the
28:37people that commit these horrendous crimes? I want them to burn in the fiery depths of hell and have
28:43the crimes that they committed against people committed to them. That's how I feel. And I think
28:48that's pretty normal. So I don't know if I agree with all that, but I don't know. I don't know the
28:52answer. Fictional shows featuring serial killers as the main characters might also feed into this
28:57trend. Shows like Dexter, which ran for eight seasons. Or You, which has run for four seasons.
29:07And basically turned serial killers into heartthrobs. Those ones specifically are very
29:11vigilante also. Well, not so much You, I guess, but Dexter. That even caused a man to be inspired by
29:18Dexter and went on to commit crimes like that. So I don't, I mean, I don't know. There's always going
29:23to be people that can be heavily affected by that stuff. People probably have not complete sound mind,
29:29you know? But I do believe our society is pretty desensitized to these gruesome crimes. So I think
29:35it's our responsibility as creators spreading this information or news networks or anything like
29:41that or shows to really be cognizant of how you're portraying these murderers. I think, I think that
29:49is important because, you know, at the end of the day, they're, they're monsters. They are monsters.
29:52And you should want the monsters to stay under your bed or in the closet and not on your bed because
29:57that's weird. But the edits of Dexter Morgan and the edits of Joe Goldberg, fictional characters
30:03match pretty much perfectly with the edits of Jeffrey Dahmer, Cameron Heron, and Wade Wilson. So
30:10I don't know, man. That's, that's the story today. Kind of just a little, a little, uh, PSA on not to,
30:16not to romanticize these, these literal pieces of shit. Just a little message from your Auntie Chris,
30:21keeping you updated on stuff. If you like the video, if you like these types of videos, I know I'm kind
30:25of going all over the place all the time on my channel, but I'm really enjoying kind of getting
30:29more into kind of like a research-based platform with still some fun content thrown in there as well,
30:35comedy content and everything. Anyway, yeah, let me know what you think down below. How do you feel about
30:39all this stuff? What do you think causes all of this? I'm really curious to see. But anyway,
30:44until next time, I will see you beautiful face in the next video. Bye, Brad. Bye.
