Trump Says Patriot Missiles Will Be In Ukraine 'Within Days'

During a press conference on Monday, President Donald Trump spoke about deliveries of Patriot missiles to Ukraine.

00:04Will these be Patriot missiles specifically or Patriot batteries that you're planning?

00:08Everything. It's everything. It's Patriots. It's all of them.

00:12It's a full complement with the batteries.

00:14And when do you expect them to arrive in the Ukraine, sir?

00:17Well, we're going to have some come very soon, within days, actually.

00:20A couple of the countries that have Patriots are going to swap over

00:24and will replace the Patriots with the ones they have.

00:28And Matt will coordinate with NATO.

00:31But so it's going to be... They're going to start arriving very soon.

00:34This afternoon, Boris Pistorius, the German defense minister, is visiting Pete Hexert,

00:39the Secretary of Defense.

00:41And we'll discuss also, I think, this whole Patriot thing.

00:43Norway is involved, so that's on the Patriots.

00:46But this whole deal is also about missiles or ammunition.

00:49So it's broader than Patriots.

00:51We have one country that has 17 Patriots getting ready to be shipped.

00:55They're not going to need them for that.

00:57So we're going to work a deal where the 17 will go,

01:00or a big portion of the 17 will go to the worst side.
