'We're Gonna Make It Back': Donald Trump Pledges Texas Recovery With Support From Washington

President Donald Trump closed out a roundtable discussion in Texas on Friday by speaking about support for Texas from Washington.

00:05again but I just want to thank you very much and we'll be helping you from

00:09Washington DC like no other president would do nobody else nobody else would

00:15do it nobody else would would be even get back to you you know you're fully

00:21funded as you know and Christy I would say they were fully funded within minutes

00:26of hearing about this and you know the state of Texas number one they do it

00:30right and they've done it right for a long time and it's you know very special

00:34place to me I will tell you that politically I don't want to say politics

00:38but politically it's been a very special place to me our great Secretary of

00:42Agriculture who you've done such a great job Brooke Rollins you come from Texas

00:47and I just want to thank you she even got the cost of eggs right down you know they

00:54hit me with that one and she got him down so quickly nobody knew what it by

00:58Easter everybody was having eggs at a lower price than they ever thought

01:01possible but you've done a fantastic job but it's just been a special it's been a

01:06very special state to me and it's my honor and we will continue to work

01:09together and well it's a bad situation and you can never say oh it's gonna be

01:16bigger better stronger you know it's just so many lives have been lost you can't

01:21say that but we're gonna make it we're gonna make it back we're gonna make it

01:27back and we're gonna make it good again and everybody wants to do it and I just

01:31want to thank you and I want to congratulate you you guys have been

01:33unbelievable thank you for your your words before it was unbelievable the job

01:37you've done Kim everybody every single one of you so you should be very proud and

01:42we're very proud of you thank you all very much for doing such a good job thank you
