00:00This is part of the process of getting things in order.
00:03And we talk about Ben Johnson and the impact he'll have on Caleb Williams.
00:06And I think when you talk about what Ryan Poles deserves credit for,
00:11often he is credited with bringing Ben Johnson to Chicago.
00:15And I chuckle only because I do think it's probably on the list of things
00:21that brought him to Chicago third at best.
00:24Oh, no, no way.
00:26I mean, I don't think he came here to work with this guy.
00:29Caleb Poles.
00:32I mean, if you want to get it.
00:33I don't think Poles.
00:34You know, I think, honestly, okay, I mean, money slash control.
00:42I think that he's his own boss.
00:45I think Poles works for him more than the other way around.
00:50I don't have any doubt.
00:51I said that on day one.
00:52So I think the fact that you're going to get big dough,
00:56but you're also running your own show is it kind of rhymes.
01:02Big dough, your own show, let's go.
01:05That's what I'm saying.
01:06You know, he doesn't – there isn't the strong football personality
01:11that can tell him, get in your lane, do your job, and I'll do my job.
01:17This is not the way it's going to work.
01:19And to your point, which backs up what you're saying,
01:23is that you look at the draft, this confirmation of all of that.
01:27The first two picks were Ben Johnson picks.
01:29Yes, no question.
01:30They were not necessarily picks by a general manager
01:32who understood what the weaknesses were.
01:35And the fact that this draft –
01:38Well, let me ask.
01:40You get through – you go into the draft needing a running back
01:42and an edge rusher, and you come out of the draft
01:44with your offensive weapon re-upgraded.
