Then the floor breaks, Adam falls through the floor, dangles above the plough and then falls onto the plough. The detectives go over to the barn and meet Hugo, who is sitting on a hay bale outside the barn. Inside is Adam's body, his skull sliced in half by the plough . Bullard points to the hayloft above. "The joists have been sawn through. They left just enough to keep the floor in place. But it would've given way as soon as he stepped on to it," says Bullard.
