03:59which is such a simple koan
04:01that it's quite easy to grasp.
04:04However, after the mind is purified
04:06one achieves a state
04:07in which every being and entity
04:09can access a pure yet not very developed mind
04:13and begin to use it for their own purposes
04:16bypassing the state of its previous user.
04:20Jesus Christ described this state
04:21in a way that indicates
04:23that after the mind is purified
04:25the thoughts from which the mind's dwelling
04:27has been purified
04:28can be expected to return with sevenfold force
04:32to establish a restoration of the state
04:34that preceded the purification.
04:37It clearly follows that
04:39one must understand the current state
04:41and by undertaking meditation
04:43achieve some direction of progress
04:46by turning it in some direction
04:48and confirming that it does not contradict
04:50the ground of the initial state
04:52from which it grows.
04:54The most famous Buddhist koan
04:57is the thought
04:58Buddha is a gram of flax.
05:00Christianity, on the other hand,
05:02may offer a more complementary approach
05:04to the koan
05:05and bring more farsighted effects of meditation.
05:09A good start to the development of the self
05:11on the basis of a mind drawing
05:13on the living water of the ground

06:41Finally, an example of a koan without a religious foundation at its core.
