Huge crowds gathered at Ujjain’s Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple for the sacred Bhasma Aarti on the first Monday of Shravan. Devotees thronged for early morning darshan, with rituals continuing all day. The spiritual high point will be the city procession of Lord Mahakal at 4 PM.
