Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar stirred debate by criticising recent bridge collapses in Maharashtra and Gujarat, questioning India’s push to become the third-largest economy. At an event in Pune, he cited deadly incidents like the Marwar pedestrian bridge and the Gujarat collapse, saying, “We aim to be an economic power, but our bridges are falling.” His remarks, seen as veiled criticism of ally BJP, have reignited concerns over infrastructure and governance.

00:00LRNCP's Bridge Collapse jive at the Bharatiya Janata Party.
00:03Deputy Chief Minister Aljeet Pawar slams Bridge Collapse.
00:07Asked, what's wrong with the sparring third largest economy?
00:10Were British better than us?
00:12Gujarat Bridge Collapse killed at least 20 people.
00:15Remember those horrific pictures that had gone completely viral?
00:19Were we better off with British ruling us?
00:30Oh, oh, oh!
00:31Let's go!
00:35Run, run!
00:39Get off!
00:40Get off!
00:41Get off!
00:43Listen to what Ajit Pawar saw.
00:47But, in this country, the British people have been a real issue.
00:52And when the British people have been the first place,
00:56But the second story of the British is the way we have done,
01:03we have to make it real.
01:06We have to make sure that you're going to get the proper information.
01:10The other thing is, we have to make sure that the British people are not the same.
01:14The British people are not the same, but they don't even know about Indian people.
01:18We will continue to help you.
01:28We will continue to help you.
01:34Ravavala has more details on that story.
01:36This is in fact an allies jive really at the Gujarat government, state government here
01:41saying that perhaps we were better off under the British.
01:44They did better work for us in terms of quality construction here.
01:48Omkar.
01:50Well, exactly. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Tawar was delivering a speech in Pune.
01:56It was a program organized by the Professional Structure Engineering Association.
02:00In the same program, he cited some recent incident of bridge collapse,
02:04like the pedestrian bridge collapse in the Maavad Taisil of Pune just three weeks ago,
02:11and the recent incident in also the Gujarat.
02:14So, interestingly, Ajit Tawar cited all those incidents and later on he said that,
02:20we can understand, we are heading towards the third largest economy,
02:25but as even we are becoming the third largest economy,
02:28our buildings are collapsing and the bridges are falling now.
02:31So that is why the controversy has started now.
02:34Absolutely. Also talk to us, Omkar, in the same context about the investigations.
02:39In this entire case, we know that the debt toll was very, very high.
02:43At 20 with that horrific collapse that took place.
02:46The audit of bridges are still going on, even when it comes to Maharashtra or Gujarat.
02:55Local administration is working on that.
02:57But again and again, same kind of incidences are happening
03:00and that is why it raises the concern and it already raised alarming situation in the state.
03:06So, structural audits and some investigation is still underway.
03:10Investigations are underway is what Omkar is of course telling us, reporting on that from Pune.
03:15But the politics is brewing.
03:17Not the first time that Ajit Pawar has not minced his words in being critical of his own alliance partners, isn't it?
03:23This is something that we have been seeing earlier as well, isn't it, Omkar?
03:27Yeah, exactly.
03:28It's not the first time.
03:29Even when it comes to the old incidences like beloved sister, Ladki Bahin scheme in the Maharashtra
03:34or some other schemes like Mahalakshir scheme in Madhya Pradesh, Ajit Pawar has already taken his own stand,
03:42his own statements regarding this kind of different policies.
03:47So, it's always been like BJP is taking another stand or Ajit Pawar is claiming something.
03:53It's not only a matter about his legacy, but even in the policy making,
03:57we have seen a different kind of contradiction.
04:01Leaving it at that for the moment, Omkar Wable getting asked those details.
04:04As far as the politics around that is concerned,
04:07Office Alliance partner Ajit Pawar himself is now critical of the Bharatiya Janta Party.
04:12What's wrong with the next third largest economy?
04:15Is the question that he's asking of his alliance partner, the BJP.
04:23Trouble mounting for close aid of Karnataka Minister Priyank Khadge.
04:28Kalburgi Congress leader Lingaraj Kani has been arrested by Mumbai police in a drug trafficking case.
04:34BJP has slammed Congress over this.
04:37Lingaraj Kani is a close aide of Karnataka Minister Priyank Khadge and Kalburgi South Amalia Alama Prabhu Patal.
04:45Lingaraj is also the Congress Chief for Kalburgi South Block.
04:50Lingaraj was arrested by cops while carrying more than 120 bottles of banned anorex, cough syrup.
04:56Arrested by Mumbai police along with two others involved in this.
04:59BJP, meanwhile, went all guns blazing at the Karnataka Congress,
05:03accusing the party of indulging in corruption and anti-social activities, including drug trafficking.
05:10BJP has also accused Khadge's family of looting people, land and money,
05:14and said the probe must be launched against the entire family.
05:18Priyanka Khadge should answer to himself that what support he had given to this person
05:25who was a blocked Congress person and who was selling the narcotics.
05:28And if this is the level of Congress, what kind of a mindset Congress party and Priyanka Khadge
05:33and Malik Arjun Khadge also should be questioned in this matter,
05:37because without Malik Arjun Khadge, Ashirwada, there cannot be nothing which can happen.
05:44So that is why Congress party per se, the whole Congress party is basically,
05:50mindset itself is corrupt.
05:51They are involved in illegal activities.
05:53They are looting the people of Karnataka and all other states and supplying drugs,
05:59one of the most cheapest forms of spoiling the country's youth and the future of the country.
06:08And this is what Priyanka Khadge should immediately tweet.
06:11We ask him to resign, actually, in fact, rather than anything else,
06:15because he has a very big mouth and he thinks that he is a superstition of Karnataka.
06:20And that is why he reacts to every issue which is actually not his concerns.
06:24And we are very sure that it's not just Priyanka Khadge who is involved here.
06:30There are a lot of other people who are involved and might be from a lot of people
06:34from Congress parties, Maharashtra Kedar also.
06:38So we are definitely going to formalize a strategy today
06:42and we are going to fight these people who are spoiling my youth, my country's youth.
06:49Alright, going straight across to Sagay Raj for more details.
06:52Sagay, this comes as a big embarrassment of the BJP taking this, going all out rather,
06:57saying that, you know, this entire family should be investigated.
07:01It's not just, you know, one person.
07:03There's a larger conspiracy to all of this.
07:05Sagay?
07:07Absolutely.
07:08BJP will try to take political mileage out of this where they have slammed the Priyanka Khadge
07:13and his family members on this particular arrest which was being made by Kalyan police in Maharashtra.
07:20Remember, he is also Kalburgi's South Glock president
07:24and he had possession of the band, a drug with him when the police have arrested.
07:30And along with them, few other people who have also been arrested in this particular case.
07:34And police in Maharashtra are investigating further,
07:37whereas there are a lot of pressure on Karnataka Congress leader on allegations of Congress leader involving in drug cases.
07:45We'll leave it to that for the moment.
07:48Sagay Raj getting asked, no details and more.
07:50For the face-off really that is being seen between the BJP and the Congress here,
07:55this time over the arrest of a close aide of Priyanka Khadge.
07:59Not just a minister, remember, the son of AICC president, Madhika Jun Khadge.
08:04More news coming in after a series of rapes.
08:14Now fresh Bengal shame.
08:16Ex-TMC woman Neta's deepfake nudes have been circulated.
08:20Survivor says many more monajeets within the TMC.
08:24Sacked from TMC, then shamed in TMC circles.
08:27Survivor says lurking predators inside the Trinamool Congress.
08:32Anirban has more details on that story at this point in time.
08:37Anirban, tell us what is this about?
08:40Who is this person who's spoken about the fact that there are many predators
08:46really lurking within the Trinamool Congress, the ruling TMC in the state of Bengal?
08:52Well, you know, Rajuna Haldar, a suspended leader of Trinamool,
08:57Dr. Parishat, TMCP, has lodged a formal complaint in the Sonarpur police station
09:03as well as in the Lal Bajar cyber crime.
09:06Actually, Rajuna was first seen in the TMC's 21st July Shahid Divas program,
09:12where she got famous and after that she was being given so much of loads by the Trinamool Congress as well
09:21to have the TMCP run well.
09:27But after that, what happened during the RG Cor incident, when Rajuna Haldar and their company
09:33have tried to make one short film on the RG Cor incident, after that Rajuna Haldar was being suspended by the TMCP.
09:44And after that, what happened now, Rajuna Haldar is saying that like Monojit Mishra,
09:49what has happened in the Kaushba Law College, we all know the gang rape case.
09:53And after that, she is accusing that there is many more Monojit Mishra's
09:57and many more like Monojit, those who are circulating her AI images,
10:04which is semi-nude and nude images.
10:07And she has already filed a complaint, a formal complaint to the Lal Bajar cyber cell,
10:14which is the Kolkata police cyber cell, as well as in the Sonarpur police station.
10:18And now, as we all know previously, Haldar had refrained from approaching the police
10:25as she opted instead to inform the party leadership.
10:29However, now she has escalated the matter by filing a complaint via email with the police.
10:36And right now, she is seeking justice for that.
10:39And she also said that she will help police out by considering and by identifying the names
10:48that those who are involved in this from TMCP as well.
10:52All right. Getting us those details is Anirvana.
10:55I'll just come back to you for more on that.
10:57This has got to do with the former TMC woman Neta's deep fake news that have now been circulated.
11:04After a series of rapes, it's a fresh Bengal shame here.
11:08The survivor has said many more Monojits in TMC.
11:12Anirvana, talk to us about what the leadership is saying, at least informally.
11:16Well, informally, we have seen that the Trinomul Congress leadership has already said that if this kind of incident has happened earlier, why not Rajon
11:27has complained it earlier, why during the Kaushba Law College rape case.
11:32And this is the question being raised by the Trinomul Congress and Trinomul Chhatra Parishad as well.
11:38But right now, Rajon is in her firm position.
11:44And right now she wants justice from police as well as from the law and order as well as from the Trinomul Congress party.
11:55It's Anirvan Roy talking to us about what really is brewing within the TMC.
12:00Very serious allegations have been made as far as the allegations of this deep fake here is concerned.
12:06Deep fake news of a former TMC worker being celebrated.
12:10Deep fake news circulated.
12:12Former TMC youth leader files a police complaint.
12:14Shukanta Majumdar is also now with us.
12:16Shukanta Majumdar, what do you make of these latest allegations that have been made?
12:20With the survivor now saying that there are not one but several predators within the Trinomul Congress.
12:27This confession by this girl, Rajanna Aldar, who is the ex-Trinomul Congress portfolio holder in Trinomul Chhatra Parishad,
12:40clearly states that the Trinomul Chhatra Parishad is nothing but a poaching organization, poaching,
12:47girls poaching organization.
12:49Because this is not only the first time, even we have observed what happened inside that law college, South Calcutta Law College.
12:59And several videos are coming till now.
13:02And I think this is the tip of the iceberg.
13:04And I really demand an investigation, proper investigation against this kind of allegation.
13:11And the most interestingly, a party which is headed by a woman.
13:16And inside that party, that girl, Rajanna Aldar, who was the victim.
13:21He complained. He complained. He complained.
13:23Shukanta Majumdar to not, in fact, take the name of the person here, name of the survivor here.
13:27Because that is something that we should not be taking.
13:29And you can, in fact, carry on with your thoughts on these revelations without taking the name of the survivor, please.
13:34Okay, okay, okay. I am sorry for that.
13:36Yes, yes.
13:37So, that girl is, that girl complained inside the party structure.
13:42And no one did take any kind of action.
13:47So, this is the mindset of the Trinamul Congress, a party which is led by a woman.
13:53And that party and that party's student organization is so anti-woman and anti-girl.
13:59So, it became a poaching organization, girls poaching organization.
14:04So, TMC Chhatra Purusha should be renamed as a girl poaching organization.
14:09All right. You know, Shukanta Majumdar, I want to ask you, what is your expectation of the West Bengal leadership?
14:15I mean, at the end of the day, we have a woman who's not just the head of the party, but the head of the government as well.
14:22She's at the, you know, helm of affairs.
14:25She's the chief minister as well as the home affairs minister, month of energy, but I am confident enough that her government won't take any kind of action.
14:36Because she knows everything, she knows everything.
14:39What is happening inside the party, and she has a good, you know, intelligence network within the police.
14:48And police is also providing the all kind of information.
14:51She enjoys this kind of incident.
14:53All right. I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
14:57Shukanta Majumdar there, from the Bharatiya Janta Party, saying that they have little expectation as far as the leadership of the TMC is concerned.
15:05Now, allegations have been made by a woman who was a part of the TMC.
15:11Now, deepfake news have been circulated.
15:14The youth leader, who was previously associated with the Trinamool Congress, has now filed a police complaint.
15:23These are details.
15:34In other news, the probe into the Air India crash is escalating.
15:38FAA and Boeing have rejected claims made by India's Air India crash probe.
15:44In the initial probe report, the AAIB references a 2018 FAA report advising inspection of fuel switch locks.
15:53However, this 2018 FAA advisory was not mandatory and was therefore not followed by Air India.
15:59Maintenance records show the throttle control module on Air India flight 171 was replaced in 2019 and 2023.
16:09Following the report, on the 11th of July, the FAA ruled out the need for an airworthiness directive and declared that the fuel control switch design is safe.
16:19Boeing soon backed this, stating no immediate action is needed on the aircraft.
16:23Meanwhile, Pilot Association has raised questions.
16:26They claim the report shows a clear bias towards blaming the pilot and putting this on pilot error.
16:33The association rejects the claim that the pilot cut the fuel switches and says the investigation is being driven by a presumption of pilot killed and demanding full transparency and have questioned the secrecy surrounding the probe.
16:47The fuel control valves of the engine of this power fuel control valve, that means the valve which controls the fuel from your fuel tank to that particular engine.
17:00There are all different micro switches that are there which make contact when you move the fuel control switch from cut off to on.
17:07Maybe these would have to be investigated in greater detail.
17:10I am sure that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has all the necessary expertise.
17:16As far as I am concerned, I think it is extremely, extremely remote that anyone during a process of take-off takes his attention off the take-off, looks down, finds the switch, puts it off and then finds the other switch, again puts it off.
17:33And all within a period of one second.
17:34In my opinion, extremely unlikely.
17:36Right, getting in those details essentially has got to do with the fact that this has now been rather rubbish or not acknowledged by Boeing.
17:49Talking about the fact that this isn't something that is going to be accepted.
17:54Given that, Amit, our findings essentially show that there was zero error on the part of the two pilots there, isn't it?
18:04Sameha, you know, what we can say at this point in time that the AAIB initial report of the primary report is something we have to rely on.
18:14Yes, continuously there will be interpretations as it fits the case to different parties in this particular aircraft tragedy.
18:23And more narrative will be pushed forward, be it in the country or outside, you know, in the global community, which is happening in this particular year.
18:33The airworthiness directive, which has been released privately, you know, is being now said to have claiming that there was no problem with the fuel cutoff switches of Boeing 787 or the other models that we are speaking of.
18:52And Boeing also having to be endorsing such narrative again, this is not something on the record.
18:59But, you know, even if you go by the 2018 directive, airworthiness directive of pollution of the FAA, the American was dropped.
19:09It was an advisory, not mandatory issue, and rather for the aircraft operators to be, you know, cautious about.
19:18And right now, what we certainly need to underline again and again is that any insinuation that pilots were at mistake would be extremely wrong to say at this point in time.
19:31Because we know for a fact that there is 13 seconds before that mayday call, all attempts to revive the entire engine system of Boeing Greenliner 787 AI-171 was being done by Captain Sabduwal and pilot Clive Kunder.
19:50So this is on record.
19:51That fact is on record because, you know, of course, engine 1 switches were put from cutoff to run.
20:00Engine 1 deacceleration was arrested and engine was recovering.
20:04It was engine 2, which was taking time for deacceleration to stop.
20:09And you cannot, you know, believe that within span of 30 seconds, the craft will come under control.
20:16Despite that, both of these pilots made their best of efforts to ensure that people on board their lives are saved like any other professional pilot would do.
20:26So at this point in time, any insinuation that pilots were at mistake would be extremely, you know, dangerous.
20:34Also, for the fact that investigation is still going on and Indian investigative agency, the AIR, the Aircraft Activation Bureau, and they are also seeking assistance from the domain experts from the global community.
20:50So we have to wait and watch in this particular context.
20:54All right.
20:54I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
20:56Amit Badwaj getting in those details and telling us about the response of FAA and Boeing as far as India's own investigations are concerned, indicating that the pilots, our pilots, were not at want.
21:17More news coming in.
21:18Another suspected Nipah virus death in Kerala, where a 57-year-old man from Palakad is died.
21:25On the 12th of June, July, beg your pardon, due to Nipah, Kerala government is ramping up contact tracing and surveillance, which are the key, really, to all of this.
21:34Kerala government says avoid unnecessary hospital visits.
21:38Avoid visiting relatives in hospitals.
21:40That is absolutely unnecessary.
21:42Remember, given how quickly it spreads.
21:45Avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals, especially in Malapuram and in Palakad.
21:50Visiting relatives and friends who are undergoing treatment in hospitals should be avoided.
21:58Shibi Mall is with us for the very latest.
22:01Shibi, this is, in fact, an annual occurrence.
22:05The scourge of Nipah virus, really, where the fatality rate is very, very high.
22:11When it's of utmost concern that there are six districts under alert.
22:16Talk to us about the kind of precautions that is being taken.
22:24Going back to Shibi, in a moment from now, we're telling our viewers about how a 57-year-old man from Palakad is the latest to succumb to the Nipah virus.
22:36It's a suspicion that he was infected.
22:41This has prompted the government to ramp up contact tracing and also field level surveillance, which is the key, essentially, in a situation where the virus spreads.
22:50Infection rates are high.
22:53And also, fatality rates in Nipah virus continues to be very, very high.
22:57Shibi Mall is back with us.
23:00Shibi, this is highly contagious and the fatality rate of Nipah virus is also very high, isn't it?
23:06Given that, having said that, talk to us about the precautions that the government is taking, given that this really is an annual occurrence this time of the year, isn't it?
23:15Well, exactly, Sneha.
23:18In fact, you know, this is the main fruit season.
23:21And once the season is over is when we usually find, you know, the rise of Nipah virus.
23:27We have seen earlier in 2018 and 2019 when Kerala went through a major crisis with Nipah virus with many people losing their lives.
23:35Later, in 2022 and 2023, we again saw Nipah outbreaks in Kerala, but that was not as severe as 2018 and 2019.
23:42Again, we are seeing two deaths reported in Kerala in this year itself.
23:46And it's a very, you know, serious situation.
23:49The government has put an alert in six districts of Kerala.
23:52That includes Trishur, Vyanat, Kodikot, Kannur, Malappuram and Kasrikot.
23:56Now, these are the six districts in the northern part of Kerala.
23:59So, that is where they have been put on high alert, especially in all the hospitals.
24:04Only one person with the patient is allowed to be in hospitals.
24:08No unnecessary visits are allowed in the hospitals.
24:09They have, you know, traced, they have made a contact list of the person who's tested positive for Nipah virus who passed away on Saturday.
24:19So, his contact list has been prepared.
24:22There are many health workers also in the contact list, many health workers also in high-risk category.
24:26So, that is definitely a major concern.
24:28Masks are compulsory, especially for people living in these particular districts where Nipah virus has been reported.
24:34And also in these districts where an alert has been issued and avoid as many hospital visits as possible.
24:40That's the main point the government is mentioning.
24:42Do not go to hospitals if at all, if it's not necessary, unless and until it's absolutely necessary is what the main instruction is.
24:48And also in the designated areas, in certain Punjais, masks have been made compulsory and also there is restriction as far as movement is concerned.
24:58So, now that is the main, you know, main guidelines issued by the government.
25:02And stay on alert and any symptoms, any fever symptoms should also be reported because, you know, the death that took place on Saturday was a fever case.
25:12He had, he passed away after, you know, after being infected, after, you know, reporting fever and later, only after he passed away, there was, you know, doubts regarding his symptoms.
25:23And then once his samples were sent for Nipah, it tested positive.
25:27So, even if there is a fever symptom, that should also be reported to the government and to the health officials considering that there is a high-risk factor existing currently, especially in this season, especially in the coming months.
25:40We need to be very careful with what the government is saying.
25:41Alright, it's important that you point it out, Shibi, that even if there is fever, it should be reported as the word really from the government.
25:48It can go a long way in ensuring that the virus doesn't become fatal, given that the fatality rate of Nipah virus viewers is very, very high, up to 60% plus.
26:01Highly contagious, it's a deadly zoonotic pathogen.
26:04Shibi, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
26:10More news coming in.
26:14This is Pawan Kalyan's big defense of Hindi.
26:17Pawan Kalyan says, why be ashamed of Hindi?
26:20Andhra Pradesh Jabirichi Firistra has said this in the past and saying this again.
26:24Let's learn, embrace Hindi.
26:26Amid language war, Pawan Kalyan is batting for Hindi.
26:30Said's former president, Kalam's Hindi love.
26:33No one is imposing Hindi.
26:35The voice of sanity amid language goon assaults with a senior leader, the deputy chief minister there, talking about the fact that if you love English, why not Hindi when there are several instances of violence around language?
26:52Listen in to what he said.
26:58is
27:01is
27:05is
27:08is
27:12is
27:18is
27:23So, come and see Hindi from this view, not only do it, nor do it, just understand and do it.
27:53The violence around language, language chauvinism at its peak and language violence at its peak is well.
27:59Started all with Maharashtra, several leaders talking about the imposition of Marathi being essential.
28:06Amid the language war, Pawan is batting for Hindi.
28:09Pawan Kalyan citing the former president's APJ Abdul Kalam's love for Hindi.
28:18No one is imposing Hindi, says Pawan Kalyan.
28:20Apoorva Jayachandran, getting asked more details this morning.
28:24One voice of sanity there from Pawan Kalyan talking about the fact that it's what's wrong in learning Hindi.
28:30We all love English, why not Hindi?
28:34Apoorva.
28:37Well, that's right Sneha, in fact, a strong statement coming in there, advocating for Hindi language.
28:43In fact, Adhra Pradesh Jeopardy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, remember, he has in fact gone on
28:48and compared Hindi to other languages as well, wherein he has said, if one needs to get a promotion
28:54at a job or if needs a social media reel to go viral, then they can use Hindi for, you know,
29:00those kind of instances, then why not learn and, you know, learn Hindi as a language itself.
29:06Why the hatred, why the hesitation is what he has.
29:09In fact, he's going on and saying,
29:11That's the statement that is coming across from Pawan Kalyan as well.
29:18Remember, earlier on, we had also seen, you know, several other leaders vouching for Hindi
29:25language and now we're also seeing the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister there, Pawan Kalyan.
29:29In fact, he's going on and also saying, if we can learn, you know, we can accept and learn
29:35English as a modern language, then why not Hindi?
29:38In fact, Hindi is a common denominator across all languages in India, is what Pawan Kalyan
29:43has stated.
29:44And, you know, Apoorva, I want to ask you, in what context was this statement also made?
29:48It's significant.
29:49The timing of it is also extremely important.
29:51Well, definitely, this was, you know, this was made at a public speech that had been taken
30:02up by Pawan Kalyan there.
30:04Just three days back, he had also participated in the Swarna Jayanti celebration that had taken
30:09place in Hyderabad.
30:11And as a part of that, this is where he had, you know, taken to the dais to give a speech.
30:15And in this speech, he speaks in Hindi first.
30:18Later on, he addresses in Telugu as well.
30:20He, in fact, goes on and also states, Hindi is our Rashtra Bhasha.
30:25Yes, we have Jeeva Bhasha and Matra Bhasha, which are our various mother tongue there,
30:30Tamil, Telugu, you know, Kannada and other several languages, regional languages that are
30:38our Matra Bhasha respectfully.
30:39But also, Hindi is our Rashtra Bhasha, is what Pawan Kalyan goes on and emphasizes, saying
30:45that people should come out from the fear and the kind of, you know, false impression that
30:51people have on the language of Hindi.
30:53And that he clearly ascertains that there isn't any kind of imposition.
30:57But rather, if we can learn one language, why not the other, is what he says.
31:01That's right.
31:01Be with us.
31:02So, I'm just going to come back to you in a moment from now.
31:04Poorva, listening once again to what Pawan Kalyan said.
31:37China's Dalai card is as Jashankar comes calling.
31:55China says, Tibet remains thorn in ties.
31:59India is transformed by Dalai Lama, dragging seas red.
32:02External Affairs Minister's first China trip after 2020 Galwa and Klaus.
32:08As Jashankar in China for a key SEO meeting.
32:17The international situation as we meet today in the 2020 conference,
32:23as neighbouring nations, an open exchange of views and perspectives between India and China
32:32is very important.
32:33I look forward to such discussions.
32:37Excellency, bilateral relationship, as you have noted,
32:42has been steadily improving since the meeting of Prime Minister Modi
32:45and President Xi Jinping in Kazan last October.
32:50I'm confident that my discussions on this visit will maintain that positive trajectory.
33:15that are clear as far as its support to Tibet and to the Dalai Lama is concerned.
33:21As Jashankar is at the Foreign Minister's meet of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in China.
33:29This is the first visit after the Galwan clashes that took place more than five years ago.
33:36Pranayapada has got more details on that.
33:40This is Beijing's diplomatic mission, registering its protests, but India is undettered.
33:46Beijing says the issue of Tibet is a thorn in India-China relations.
33:51Now, this is not something that is going to affect India, isn't it, Pranay,
33:55as we've seen in the past as well?
33:57You're absolutely right, Sneha.
33:59And this visit of External Affairs Minister Dr. Rajesh Yashankar is,
34:02as you rightly pointed out, is happening.
34:04At the interval of around five years and post-Galwan clashes between India and China.
34:10But steadily, after October 2024, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping met in Kazan,
34:17there is a steady improvement.
34:18But be it Tibet or be it Arunachal Pradesh or be it counterclaims or be it Chinese help
34:23to Pakistan during Operation Sindhu.
34:25These are the issues which remain, you know,
34:29which affects the bilateral relationship between India and China.
34:33But indeed, if you point out the remarks made by External Affairs Minister Dr. Rajesh Yashankar,
34:40while visiting China and meeting the Vice President Han Zheng of China,
34:46he clearly pointed out that the open exchange between India and China is important,
34:51especially the exchange of views and perspective between India and China is very important,
34:55at a time when the neighboring nations and major economies are facing a situation of complex relationship
35:03and complexities, be it economic burden or be it international rising tensions.
35:07So, clearly, this visit is important, but this visit is in the context of the SCO meeting,
35:14the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
35:15And if you have noticed here, recently, NSA Ajit Doval did visit China for the SCO-NSA-level meeting.
35:22Defense Minister Rajesh Singh also visited China,
35:25and he suggested a four-point formula for India-China bilateral relationship
35:29where the disengagement, de-escalation, and, you know, the demarcation of the boundary,
35:36the settlement of the boundary remains an important issue
35:39where the SR-level mechanism needs to be utilized.
35:41So, these are the important issues.
35:43I think India would like to solve the border issue.
35:46India would want the resolution of and demarcation of the border.
35:49And for that, we have always been committed for the last 25 years
35:53to pursue the SR-level talks mechanism.
35:56But, unfortunately, that has not progressed.
35:59And that's why India has been urging that to resolve the border issue,
36:02because border remains a critical issue between India and China.
36:06And, in fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also said that, you know,
36:09to minimize the disputes, to minimize the differences,
36:13and, you know, letting them turn into disputes,
36:15it's important to have a border demarcation and resolution of the border.
36:18But, until then, the peace and tranquility should be maintained
36:21on the borders between India and China.
36:24Leave it at that for the moment, China's Dalila Makaat,
36:26even as this important visit of the External Affairs Minister is taking place.
36:32Group captain, Shabanshu Shukla, is returning to Earth.
36:49After wrapping up a landmark mission abroad at the International Space Station,
36:53Shukla now prepares for re-entry, carrying with him not just data and discoveries,
36:57but the dreams of a billion Indians.
37:00In a heartfelt message during the farewell ceremony,
37:03Shukla echoed the words of Rakesh Sharma and said,
37:06India is still sari jaha satsha.
37:08He's also captured the spirit of a new India,
37:11as seen from the vantage point of space,
37:14and added that India looks ambitious from space,
37:16fearless, confident and proud.
37:18The undocking of the Dragon capsule from the ISS will begin at around 4.30pm today,
37:24and the de-orbit burn will be completed on the 15th of July at 11am,

37:41It has been an incredible journey.
37:46I did not imagine all this when I started on Falcon 9 on 25th,
37:51and I think it has been made amazing or incredible because of the people who are involved.
37:57The team that is standing behind me,
38:00you guys have made it really special for us being here on the station,
38:03and it was an incredible joy to be here

38:19whatever time we found,
38:21we were always looking out the window,
38:23and it almost seems magical to me,
38:27and I would like to take this opportunity to thank my country
38:30and all their citizens for supporting this mission
38:33and me with all their hearts.
38:35How do you see Bharat on top of this?
38:39Yeah, as well,
38:41I will take it to the end of this.
38:44The weather is great.
38:45The weather is safe.
38:50Today.
38:51The weather appears in space.
38:53Today.
38:54The weather appears in the center of it.
38:57It appears in it.
38:58Today.
39:00The weather appears in the center of it.
39:01And because of all these things, I can say again, that today's country looks better than everyone else.
39:31Thank you for your crew to Earth.
40:01Rakesh Sharma, paying tribute to an ambitious, fearless, confident and proud India.
40:09With the past two and a half weeks or so, we have done a lot of science on the station.
40:14We have done outreach activities and also look back at the earth.
40:17Whatever time we found, we were always looking out the window.
40:21And it almost seems magical to me.
40:25And I would like to take this opportunity to thank my country and all their citizens for supporting this mission.
40:31And me with all their hearts.
40:34And I would like to thank GISTRO for making this happen.
40:37I would also like to thank NASA and its international partners, Axiom Space, SpaceX.
40:44During his over two-week long stay, Shukla set new benchmarks in space research.
40:50From food diplomacy to science supremacy,
40:53Group Captain Shukla conducted breakthrough experiments on the ISS.
40:57Earlier in his interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
41:25Shukla Ghashtovar, Gajar Ka Halwa.
41:27You have been given the Gajar Ka Halwa.
41:34Have you given the Gajar Ka Halwa?
41:35Have you given the Gajar Ka Halwa?
41:37Yes, Mr. Pradhan Madri Ji.
41:39I have brought some things to my country, like the Gajar Ka Halwa,
41:44the Gajar Ka Halwa, the Gajar Ka Halwa and the Amras.
41:49As Captain Shukla gets earthbound, he has scripted India's proudest chapter in human space flight.
42:09Gajar Ka Halwa
42:28And because of all these situations, I can say again, that today's country looks better from all the places of India.
42:58Thank you very much.

43:58Moving on, a political storm is broken out in Odisha after a 20-year-old student
44:27set herself ablaze on a government college campus in Odisha's Balasaw.
44:32The incident took place at FM Autonomous College.
44:35The student's complaints of sexual harassment against the head of department here,
44:39Sameer Sahu, had been allegedly ignored by authorities.
44:42The victim suffered over 90% burns during the self-emulation
44:46and is now in a critical condition at AIM's Bhuvaneshwate.
44:50The state government is facing the heat for failing to address the harassment complaints on time.
44:54Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charanmaji has responded to the horror,
44:59assuring that the inquiry team is investigating the matter and the government is taking it seriously, he said.
45:04Opposition leaders are slamming the BJP government over the shocking case of institutional apathy.
45:10Former Chief Minister and Biju Jantadal Chief Naveen Patnaik has alleged systemic denial of justice.
45:16The Congress has accused the government of deflecting criticism and failing to protect women
45:21while the TMC has attacked the BJP, saying,
45:24Beeti bachaou, beeti padhaou is a farce.
45:46It is not something that happened from our government.
45:48It is important to me to progress.
45:50Everything is important.
45:51They are a very strong man.
45:52If you can see that my son,
45:54based on the incident that I have been on the incident,
45:57He has done so far,
45:59he has done so far.
46:00Anything that has happened.
46:02A girl and a girl have been followed by a photo.
46:05What happened to her shopping after this incident,
46:07I don't know.
46:08But I know that all of the college team, the principal, the administrative level, all of them are guilty.
46:22I think that all of them are guilty.
46:24If the teachers have proven against them, if this is true,
46:33they should get the punishment.
46:40I just want to question to the state government that it is high time you get up from your sleep.
46:46You have been completely deflecting the criticism, deflecting the allegations that is being levied on the state government time and again.
46:54The state government has failed her. The authorities have failed to give her the protection.
46:59Unfortunately, she is also a member of the ABVP.
47:03It is a critical moment for the next 24 hours.
47:08When there will be some improvement, we will be able to do the air lift.
47:14When there is a disaster, we have already started the inquiry team.
47:19There will be a report that the government is taking it.
47:24In the next day, we will not be able to do anything in any college.
47:29We will take the support of the government.
47:34We will take the support of the government.
47:37We have been standing with their families and their parents.
47:42We will take the support of the government.
47:52All right, that brings us to the end of this edition.
47:54But we are leaving you with this report of President Donald Trump attending the FIFA Club World Cup award ceremony
48:00following Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Paris Saint Germain in the final.
48:04Trump stole the spotlight while after handing over the award.
48:08He was expected to leave the stage and let the players celebrate.
48:12But instead, he stayed on and joined them in the celebration.
48:15Take a look.
