00:00:29and got several countries' attention as well
00:00:32and that it will be exported from Lucknow.
00:00:35Let's listen in.
00:00:38In the Uttar Pradesh, there is a huge effort in the Uttar Pradesh.
00:00:45I have also said that Uttar Pradesh's economy,
00:00:47but today I can't believe that there is no force to move on to the streets.
00:00:56And a few days ago, I had a Brahmos Air Space integration and testing facility
00:01:03and I have seen that this operation in the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:09That is why the Brahmos had been promoted to the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:12That is why the Brahmos missile was doing the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:14And it was so much for that.
00:01:18The Brahmos missile has shown this opportunity,
00:01:20that this operation brings its ability to do the world with the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:23And after that, the Uttar Pradesh has ordered up to the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:25We asked that Brahmos missile from the Uttar Pradesh in the Uttar Pradesh.
00:01:26And we're now getting some more breaking news.
00:01:40This is regarding the Air India Crash Probe.
00:01:44Now we're learning that pilots' body must legal steps to be part of the Air India Crash Probe.
00:01:49The pilots grouping ALPA India must legal course to be part of Air India Plane Crash Probe.
00:01:55That's the latest that has been coming in.
00:01:57Pilots grouping ALPA India on Sunday said that it is mulling legal recourse to have its members as part of the investigation into the Air India's Boeing 787-8 plane crash.
00:02:07A day after alleging that AAIB's preliminary report suggests a bias towards pilot error.
00:02:14And that is why they are now mulling legal steps to be part of the Air India Crash Probe.
00:02:25So the pilot's body had questioned the preliminary report in the Air India Crash Probe by saying that it has already a bias against the pilots.
00:02:35And it presumes that it was the mistake of the pilot.
00:02:40But now they are mulling legal steps to be part of the Air India Crash Probe.
00:02:44They are demanding that the pilots should also be a part of the panel that is probing the Air India Crash Probe.
00:02:51And now they are mulling to take some legal steps to be part of the panel that is probing the 787 Crash Probe.
00:03:00Now the pilots grouping ALPA India is mulling the legal steps so that they can be a part of the Air India Plane Crash Probe.
00:03:07In fact, they allege that the watchdog's preliminary report suggests a bias towards the pilot error.
00:03:15Now remember, in the preliminary report it suggested that the engine fuel switch was turned off due to which the fuel supply to the engine was switched off.
00:03:29And it also mentioned the conversation between the two pilots in the cockpit in which one of the pilots had asked other that why did you turn it off to which the other pilot said, I did not.
00:03:40And now the pilot's body is mulling that they will be taking some legal steps so that they are part of the probe panel.
00:03:48My colleague Amit Bhadwaj is now joining us with more details on this.
00:03:53Amit, just a day after the pilot's body questioned the credibility of the report and also claimed that it has bias towards the pilots,
00:04:01now they are mulling legal steps to be part of the panel.
00:04:04What more details are we gathering?
00:04:06Well, Angeli, you know, the body that is ALPA, the pilot association in India, is, you know, had raised question marks on the AIP report.
00:04:18Now they are saying that this report does not feature any of the signs of the members who had, you know, formulated the entire report or they investigated the AI-171 crash.
00:04:32And they have questions regarding the transparency, the way entire, you know, proof has been carried out so far.
00:04:41And hence, they want to be part of these investigation panels.
00:04:44And that is why, you know, now they are mulling the entire possibility of taking legal recourse in this matter,
00:04:53because they have already voiced their concern, you know, informed the ministry as well,
00:04:59and made it public that they wish to be part of the entire process of the investigation as observers.
00:05:06Now, having said that, you know, there are very specific international norms in regards to such crash incidents or accidents, for that matter,
00:05:16which is governed by the laws of ICAW.
00:05:19So, even if such demands are being made, the AIIB will have to actually refer to the rules of the ICAW,
00:05:28that is, International Civil Aviation Association.
00:05:32And according to those norms, you know, only individuals or other specific domain experts can be included.
00:05:42For that matter, in the ongoing investigation, we have NTSB, the newest probe agency,
00:05:49which is part of this entire investigation, which has been given the status of accredited representative.
00:05:56And the NTSB has roped in people from GE, which is the manufacturer of the engine of AI-171 Boeing,
00:06:04right now you have Boeing and other domain experts who have been roped in by the NTSB.
00:06:09So, there is this demand being made by the ALPA.
00:06:14But again, having said that, whether they can be accommodated in the entire probe is governed by the fact,
00:06:22whether there is a possibility of, you know, having them on board or even as observers as per the ICAW norms or not.
00:06:30Back to you.
00:06:31All right, Amit, thank you so much for all those details and for that context.
00:06:34We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on this.
00:07:09In fact, he also captured the spirit of a new India as seen from the vantage point of space
00:07:18and added that India looks ambitious from space, fearless, confident and proud.
00:07:23The undocking of the Dragon capsule from the ISS will begin at around 4.30 p.m. today
00:07:28and the D-orbit one will be completed on July 15, that is tomorrow, at around 11 a.m.
00:07:34and the Shubhanshu, along with other astronauts, will re-enter Earth's atmosphere.
00:07:40Now, the splashdown is expected around 12 p.m. on July 15 off the California coast.
00:07:45It has been an incredible journey.
00:07:49I did not imagine all this when I started on Falcon 9 on 25th.
00:07:55And I think it has been made amazing or incredible because of the people who are involved.
00:08:00The team that is standing behind me, you guys have made it really special for us being here on the station.
00:08:06And it was an incredible joy to be here and working alongside with a bunch of professionals like you.
00:08:12Over the past two and a half weeks or so, we have done a lot of science on the station.
00:08:18We have done outreach activities and also looked back at the Earth, whatever time we found.
00:08:24We were always looking out the window.
00:08:26And it almost seems magical to me.
00:08:30And I would like to take this opportunity to thank my country and all their citizens for supporting this mission
00:08:36and me with all their hearts.
00:08:38And I would like to thank GISTRO for making this happen.
00:08:42All the colleagues at GISTRO who have worked tirelessly in developing all the protocols, the science and the outreach activities.
00:08:49The researchers back in India, the students who developed the outreach items that I carried.
00:08:55I would also like to thank NASA and its international partners, Axiom Space, SpaceX,
00:09:00for ensuring that we were trained adequately well and providing all the support around the clock
00:09:05and all the people who were sitting on the ground supporting this mission, making it extremely successful.
00:09:1041 years ago, I was told on Turkey, I had told him about that.
00:09:12And I had told her that I had told her, that on the horizon, we have pointed out how far we are going to talk about it.
00:09:16And I would like to tell you, today, I want to know that today has nothing to know.
00:09:19The world has got a good way to realize that today's climate.
00:09:22Today, it will tell us about how we are going to talk about it.
00:09:24Today, the world is about space and the world is about it.
00:09:29Today, the world is about the world.
00:09:32First, it will tell us about the world.
00:09:34Today, the world is about the world.
00:09:35Today, the world is about it.
00:09:37And now shifting focus, a political storm has broken out in Odisha after a 20-year-old student
00:09:58set herself on fire on a government college campus in Balasaur.
00:10:02Now, the incident took place at FM Autonomous College.
00:10:05The student's complaints of sexual harassment against the HOD Samir Sahu had been allegedly ignored by the authorities.
00:10:13The victim suffered over 90% burns during the self-immolation and is now in critical condition at Ames Bhubaneshwar.
00:10:20The state government is facing the heat for failing to address her harassment complaints in time.
00:10:25Odisha Chief Minister Mohanjaran Maji has responded to the horror,
00:10:29assuring that the inquiry team is investigating the matter and the government is taking it very seriously.
00:10:34But opposition leaders are now slamming the BJP over the shocking case of institutional apathy.
00:10:40Former Chief Minister and Biju Janta Dal Chief Naveen Patnaik has alleged systemic denial of justice.
00:10:46The Congress, on the other hand, has accused the government of deflecting criticism and failing to protect women.
00:10:51While the TMC has attacked the BJP saying that,
00:10:54''Beetie bachau, beetie padhaau'' is a farce.
00:10:56''Beetie bachau, beetie padhaau'' is a farce.
00:10:56''Beetie bachau, beetie bachau'' is a farce.
00:10:59''Beetie bachau'' is a farce.
00:11:01''Beetie bachau'' is a farce.
00:11:02the teachers, if they have something like this, if they have something like this, if this is true,
00:11:11then according to their people, they need to get the punishment.
00:11:17What was the shame of being doing? What was the education minister doing?
00:11:22They were sleeping for one month, they didn't have a child as well as a child.
00:11:28I'm going to take care of me because I'm going to take care of me and I'm going to take care of me
00:11:47I just want to question to the state government that it is high time you get up from your sleep.
00:12:05You have been completely deflecting the criticism, deflecting the allegations that is being levied
00:12:11on the state government time and again. The state government has failed her. The authorities have
00:12:16failed to give her the protection. Unfortunately, she is also a member of the ABVP.
00:12:22It is a critical moment for the next 24 hours. If there is a little improvement, we can do it.
00:12:33The inquiry team has started. The inquiry report will come.
00:12:41We can do it. We can do it. We can do it. We can do it.
00:12:47We can do it. We can do it. We can do it. We can do it.
00:12:54We can do it. We can do it. We can do it.
00:13:00We have been with the family. We are trained in the ministry.
00:13:03We have been responsible for that the Master of God has come.
00:13:10Now shifting our focus to the state of Bihar
00:13:24Murder and loot are on the rise in the state of Bihar
00:13:28Now a 58-year-old man identified as Jitendra Kumar Mato
00:13:32Has been shot dead in broad daylight in Patna on Sunday
00:13:36This is the fourth reported shooting incident in Bihar in just 24 hours
00:13:40According to the cops, unidentified assailants opened fire on Mato
00:13:45While he was returning home after having tea
00:13:47Three bullet shells have been recovered from the crime scene
00:13:51And the matter is being probed from all the possible angles
00:13:53Earlier, BJP leader Surendra Kewat was shot dead by two bike-borne men on Saturday
00:13:58He succumbed to his injuries during his treatment
00:14:01Both these shooting incidents come just a week after prominent businessman Gopal Khemka
00:14:06Was shot dead outside his Patna home
00:14:08As expected, the spate of murders has prompted the opposition and some allies
00:14:12To target the Nitesh Kumar government ahead of the elections
00:14:15Bihar leader of opposition Tejasvi Yadav has attacked the Nitesh government over Jangal Raj in the state
00:14:20Urging it to admit its failure in maintaining the law and order
00:14:24NDA ally Chirag Paswan has also raised concerns
00:14:27Saying that people are living in fear
00:14:28And that it is the administration's responsibility to prevent such crimes from recurring
00:14:33The BJP, on the other hand, has claimed that there is no organized crime in the state
00:14:38And that preventing murders arising from personal disputes remains a challenge
00:14:42וה The Fringers
00:14:49will be your impacted unscathed
00:14:512 million mourn

00:15:40and there's no end to
00:16:10election commission and opposition tussle in the state of Bihar.
00:16:14Hours after the poll panel sources claim that a large number of individuals from the
00:16:18countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar holding Indian documents like Aadhaar were
00:16:24found during the ongoing special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Bihar, RJD leader
00:16:29and a Bihar leader of opposition Tejasvi Yadav has parked a row by dismissing the poll panel
00:16:34sources claims calling sutras as mudra.
00:16:37Now essentially saying that these sources are nothing but a waste.
00:16:42The Bihar leader of opposition has also questioned the credibility of media sources, likening their
00:16:47claims to rumours about Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore being captured during India's Operation
00:16:52Sindhu.
00:16:53BJP and allies were quick enough to respond.
00:16:55Slamming the RJD leader, they stated that he is the Yuvraj of the Jungle Raj and that
00:17:00illegal voters are RJD's base.
00:17:02They also claimed that the opposition alliance only knows how to abuse.
00:17:06They are those sources of Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, which are doing these sources.
00:17:13We understand these sources and if there is something like this, then the last time in the
00:17:21U.P.
00:17:21government was in 2003 in 2003.
00:17:23In 2003, there was such a Yair.

00:18:43And now shifting focus to the state of Kerala.
00:19:10Huge controversy has erupted in Kerala over the practice of Guru Pooja.
00:19:14The row flared up after videos surfaced of students performing of Padhi Pooja or feet-washing rituals in CBSE schools in the state.
00:19:22The CPIM-led LDF government strongly criticised the practice.
00:19:27Education Minister V. Siwan Kutti called the act objectionable and against democratic values.
00:19:32Saying that the practice instils slave mentality in students, the minister sought an explanation from CBSE.
00:19:38But Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar defended the practice saying that offering flowers at the feet of teachers is part of Indian culture.
00:19:46Highlighting the importance of honouring teachers, Arlekar said that gurus are great souls and deserve respect.
00:19:52The Governor's remarks have invited sharp criticism from the ruling CPIM as well as the opposition Congress.
00:19:58The government has accused him of trying to implement RSS agenda in the state to erode Kerala's secular and democratic fabric.
00:20:06Meanwhile, the Congress has accused Arlekar of taking Kerala back to the dark age and teaching upper caste fascist culture.
00:20:13We registered a Suomoto case against this issue and issued notice to consent SHO, Education Department and District Child Protection Officer to submit their statement immediately.
00:20:32Karnataka Congress big charge on the BJP and Enforcement Directorate.
00:20:38Congress claims that the BJP is threatening 55 MLAs with ED and income tax rates.
00:20:45And meanwhile, Union Mantri has hit back at the Congress allegations.
00:20:49Prahlad Joshi has said that those who did wrong must fear.
00:20:53So, a political war of words has erupted in the state of Karnataka with the Congress Party's big charge on the BJP and ED.
00:20:59The Congress Party has claimed that the BJP is threatening 55 Congress MLAs with the Enforcement Directorate and income tax rates,
00:21:07to which Prahlad Joshi, Union Minister, has now hit back at the allegations that are being leveled by the Congress Party,
00:21:13saying that those who did wrong must fear.
00:21:16The President and Secretary of State are now hit back at the
00:21:45It can be clearly a government, also a government.
00:21:49Because it is a government that is clearly happening,
00:21:53the government is beingreteness,
00:21:57the government is being defeated at the same level.
00:22:00The government is going to rise to this,
00:22:02because they become a whole kind of government,
00:22:04from the government to make it public.
00:22:05They don't need to commit a government and me.
00:22:08So they keep it coming from the government to act.
00:22:11There are no other people. They ignore them. They ignore ED, CDI, they're not doing it.
00:22:17This is their reason. Our government is not doing it.
00:22:19The Congress High Command has taken control. They have lost control.
00:22:22All the people who are in the front of the government are in the front of the local government,
00:22:27they are in the front of Congress and they are in the front of it.
00:22:30In the front of the government, they are doing the same thing,
00:22:34they are doing the same thing as we are not using the same thing.
00:22:36What we call it now?
00:23:02And my colleague Sagai Raj is now joining us with more details on this.
00:23:09Sagai, some very serious allegations being put by the Karnataka Congress against the BJP
00:23:13that 55 Congress MLAs are being threatened with the IT and ED rates.
00:23:19So, where is this allegation and this claim stemming from?
00:23:24You noticed that Karnataka Congress MLA Anandipa Kashnara had slammed BJP
00:23:29stating that they never came to power and they always use agencies to get MLAs on their side
00:23:35or else they will go ahead and do host trading.
00:23:39So, slamming the statement of Congress MLA,
00:23:44Union Minister Palaam Joshi went on to say that there is host trading within Congress
00:23:48because they are well aware that Chief Minister can be made with the support of MLAs.
00:23:54Whoever gets a larger number of support of MLAs, they will be the Chief Minister.
00:23:58So, keeping all these things in mind, there is host trading within Congress
00:24:02where both D.K. Sukumar and Siddha Ramayana were money-powered
00:24:06trying to lure MLAs on their side so that they can become the Chief Minister
00:24:11or stay as a Chief Minister.
00:24:13So, this is a statement which has come from Palaam Joshi
00:24:15after the Congress MLAs have hit out at BJP.
00:24:19Right, Sagai, also if the claims are serious, if the claims are true,
00:24:24then what action is the Congress Party planning to take against the BJP?
00:24:28If you notice that BJP has done host trading in the year 2019
00:24:36and if you notice that the Congress have continuously targeting BJP on the same.
00:24:42So, now there cannot be any kind of action
00:24:44because these are allegations and counter-allegations which have been coming
00:24:48whereas allegations made by Congress and it has been countered by BJP.
00:24:54So, there are no proof to prove that there is host trading
00:24:56because the Congress has a huge majority in the state of Karnataka
00:25:02and there are no possibilities that the BJP can go ahead and do host trading
00:25:06with the numbers that they have in the state.
00:25:10All right, Sagai, do stay with us.
00:25:12We're getting some more breaking news from the state of Karnataka.
00:25:14And Karnataka Minister K.N. Ranjana backed Sidramaya
00:25:25as the Chief Minister for five years.
00:25:28He said that the MLAs will decide who will be the Chief Minister in 2028.
00:25:33He goes on to say that all leaders, including Sidramaya, must fight the polls
00:25:38and that Sidramaya won't go to Delhi as he does not know Hindi.
00:25:43So, that is what K.N. Ranjana has said.
00:25:45First of all, he has said that Sidramaya will be the Chief Minister
00:25:48for the entire term, which is a five-year term.
00:25:52And he said that MLAs will decide who will be the Chief Minister in 2028
00:25:56when the next Assembly elections will be held
00:25:58and that all leaders, including Sidramaya himself, must fight polls.
00:26:02In fact, also, on the buzz that Sidramaya might be given some central role,
00:26:06he has said that Sidramaya won't go to Delhi as he does not know Hindi.
00:26:10How does the Chief Minister come to Delhi as they do the WK a two-year term?
00:26:13Well, what happens when they do the State University government congressman and what does this
00:26:17matter if they do the CSU a two-year term?
00:26:17For the UN officials, inker also on the IC and сорial Self-governmental members.
00:26:19If it doesn't, then after the UNs will be held in the 8th,
00:26:20no matter the UNs will also be held in the CP and the UNs will be held in the UNs.
00:26:21So, if the UNs will be held in the UNs and the UNs will be held in the UNs.
00:26:23So, the UNs will also be held in the UNs.
00:26:24But after the UNs will be held to the UNs and his UNs will be held in the UNs.
00:26:25Thank you very much.
00:26:55And my colleague Sagai continues to stay with us.
00:27:01Sagai, amid the buzz over Chief Minister change in the state of Karnataka, now Karnataka
00:27:05Mantri K.N. Ranjana has thrown weight behind Sidra Maya, saying that Sidra Maya will be
00:27:10the Chief Minister for the entire term.
00:27:14So K.N. Ranjana is known being a loyalist of Karnataka's Chief Minister, Sadra Maya, and
00:27:19it's not due that he is making these kind of controversial treatment, and he is not
00:27:25known for these kind of statements.
00:27:27And if you notice, this time he went on to say that D.K.
00:27:30Shukumar cannot be Chief Minister in 2028.
00:27:33It will be the CLP, that is the Congress Legislative Parties, will decide who will be the CLP leader,
00:27:40but who will be the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
00:27:42So his timing again has hit out at D.K. Shukumar, and again, now he says that the Congress
00:27:50Party and the CLP leader will decide, sorry, CLP members will decide who will be the CLP leader
00:27:56even in the year 2028.
00:27:58And he has also backed Sidra Maya that he should contest elections, and there cannot be elections
00:28:04without Sidra Maya, which can be contested and won by Congress according to him.
00:28:10All right, Sagai, thank you so much for all those details and for that context.
00:28:14And India Today's Rajdeep Sardisai spoke exclusively with Karnataka Chief Minister Sidra Maya, where
00:28:24he said that he will be the Chief Minister for full five years.
00:28:28Listen in.
00:28:28Is Mr. Sidra Maya going to complete his full five-year term, or are you going to sometime
00:28:41later this year give up Chief Ministership and maybe D.K. Shukumar takes over?
00:28:48That is the buzz.
00:28:50Oh, I've already made it very clear that I'm going to complete five years' term.
00:28:56I will be the Chief Minister for five years.
00:29:01I made it very clear on second of this month.
00:29:05I made this statement and I made this very clear.
00:29:11And Mr. D.K. Shukumar was also there because on that day we were having a cabinet meeting.
00:29:21He was also there.
00:29:22So, in front of you he said this, but since then Randeep Surjewala, General Secretary of
00:29:28Congress, has been meeting MLAs, both in Bangalore and Delhi, and some of those MLAs have called
00:29:35for a change in leadership.
00:29:36No, it is not correct.
00:29:38See, so far as leadership is concerned, Mr. Surjewala has not asked any question about the change
00:29:48of leadership.
00:29:50But some MLAs have openly spoken about it.
00:29:52That is there always.
00:29:54Some MLAs are there who are supporting D.K. Shukumar.
00:30:00Of course, not much.
00:30:14And now shifting our focus to the state of Bihar, where there's no end to election commission
00:30:19and opposition tussle.
00:30:20Poll panel sources claimed that a large number of individuals from Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar
00:30:25holding Indian documents like Aadhaar were found during ongoing special intensive revision
00:30:30of electoral rolls in Bihar.
00:30:33RJD leader and Bihar leader of opposition Tejasvi Yadav sparked Rao by dismissing the poll panel
00:30:38sources' claims, calling sutras as mutra, essentially saying that these sources are nothing but a waste.
00:30:45Bihar leader of opposition also questioned the credibility of media sources, likening their
00:30:50claims to rumours about Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore being captured during India's Operation
00:30:55Sindhu.
00:30:56BJP and allies were quick enough to respond.
00:30:59Slamming the RJD leader, they stated that he is the Yuvraj of Jungle Raj and that illegal
00:31:04voters are RJD's base.
00:31:06They also claimed that the opposition alliance only knows how to abuse.
00:31:10They are the ones that are in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Qabzhaar are doing.
00:31:17They are the ones that we think of as mutra.
00:31:21And if there is something like this, then the last time in the U.P.
00:31:25government, in 2003, we have received S.I.R.
00:31:29in 2003.
00:31:30We have received 3-4-4-4-4 million votes.
00:31:32So did they vote for Narendra Modi?
00:31:35Jhaji see them as Prophet, okay?

00:34:17If someone is out of syllabus, they will do this.
00:34:25And murders and loot are on the rise in the state of Bihar.
00:34:29Now, a 58-year-old man identified as Jitendra Kumar Mahato
00:34:32has been shot dead in broad daylight in Patna on Sunday.
00:34:36This is the fourth reported shooting incident in Bihar in last few days.
00:34:40Unidentified assailants opened fire on Mahato
00:34:43while he was returning home after having tea.
00:34:46Three bullet shells have been recovered from crime scene
00:34:48and matter is being probed from all the possible angles.
00:34:51Earlier, BJP leader Surendra Kevart was shot dead by two bike-born men on Saturday.
00:34:57Now, this comes just a week after prominent businessman Gopal Khenka
00:35:01was shot dead outside his Patna home.
00:35:04Bihar leader of opposition Tejasvi Yadav attacked the Nitish Kumar government
00:35:07over Jangal Raj in the state,
00:35:09urging it to admit its failure in maintaining law and order.
00:35:12NDA ally Chirag Paswan also raised concerns,
00:35:15saying that people are living in fear
00:35:17and that it is the administration's responsibility
00:35:19to prevent such crimes in the state.
00:35:22In fact, the BJP claimed that there is no organized crime in the state
00:35:25and that preventing murders arising from personal disputes remains a challenge.

00:36:57Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla is returning to Earth.
00:37:11After wrapping up a landmark mission aboard the International Space Station,
00:37:14Shukla now prepares for re-entry, carrying with him not just data and discoveries,
00:37:18but also the dreams of a billion Indians.
00:37:21In a heartfelt message during the farewell ceremony, Shukhs echoed the words of Rakesh Sharma
00:37:26and said India is still sare jahan se achha.
00:37:29In fact, he also captured the spirit of a new India as seen from the vantage point of space
00:37:34and added that India looks ambitious from space, fearless, confident and proud.
00:37:40The undocking of the Dragon capsule from the International Space Station will begin at around 4.30pm today
00:37:45and the de-orbit burn will be completed on July 15, that is tomorrow, at around 11am
00:37:50and Shubhanshu along with other astronauts will re-enter Earth's atmosphere.
00:37:55The splashdown is expected around 12pm on July 15 off the California coast.
00:38:00It has been an incredible journey.
00:38:04I did not imagine all this when I started on Falcon 9 on 25th.
00:38:09And I think it has been made amazing or incredible because of the people who are involved.
00:38:15The team that is standing behind me, you guys have made it really special for us being here on the station
00:38:21and it was an incredible joy to be here and working alongside with a bunch of professionals like you.
00:38:29Over the past two and a half weeks or so, we have done a lot of science on the station,
00:38:33we have done outreach activities and also look back at the Earth, whatever time we found,
00:38:38we were always looking out the window.
00:38:40And it almost seems magical to me.
00:38:45And I would like to take this opportunity to thank my country and all their citizens
00:38:49for supporting this mission and me with all their hearts.
00:38:53And I would like to thank ISRO for making this happen.
00:38:57All the colleagues at ISRO who have worked tirelessly in developing all the protocols,
00:39:01the science and the outreach activities.
00:39:03The researchers back in India, the students who developed the outreach items that I carried.
00:39:10I would also like to thank NASA and its international partners,
00:39:13Axiom Space, SpaceX for ensuring that we were trained adequately well
00:39:17and providing all the support around the clock and all the people who are sitting on ground
00:39:21supporting this mission, making it extremely successful.
00:39:2541 years ago, a country was gone to Antriksh.
00:39:28And I told them how to see how the country is on top of it.
00:39:30And I would like to see how the country is on top of it.
00:40:00And my colleague Sibu Tripathi is now joining us with more details on this.
00:40:11Sibu, it is homecoming time for Shubhanshu Shukla after the 14-day mission in space.
00:40:17Tell us more about the return journey from the International Space Station.
00:40:21Good morning, Anjali.
00:40:24Today at 4.30 p.m., Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla with his three other crewmates,
00:40:28part of the Axiom 4 mission, will undock from the International Space Station.
00:40:32They have been in space for about 14 days.
00:40:34They launched on June 25 from Florida.
00:40:37In the last 18 days, they have conducted over 60 experiments.
00:40:41Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla himself has conducted seven dedicated experiments for India.
00:40:45Now it's time to finally come home.
00:40:47At 4.30 p.m., the Dragon spacecraft, their name is Grace, will undock from the International Space Station.
00:40:54After that, they have a 21-hour long journey in front of them.
00:40:57During this journey, they'll plan the entire return trajectly.
00:41:01All of this will be autonomously conducted by the Dragon spacecraft itself.
00:41:06Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is a mission pilot on the Dragon spacecraft.
00:41:09So he'll be in a supervisory role.
00:41:11He'll be overseeing the entire undocking procedure along with Commander Peggy Wetson.
00:41:16Tomorrow at around 3.00 p.m. is when we're expecting the Dragon spacecraft to splash down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California.
00:41:24So it all looks good.
00:41:25So far, the weather is clear.
00:41:26The weather in the splashdown area for tomorrow is also predicted to be good.
00:41:30So all eyes are now on the undocking procedure that will begin at around 1.30.
00:41:34We have to understand that at 1.30 India time, the four astronauts will enter the Dragon spacecraft from the International Space Station.
00:41:41And the hatch will be closed for the undocking.
00:41:44So all eyes are on that time.
00:41:46And at 4.30 p.m. is when the undocking issue is due in my space.
00:41:50All right, Sibu.
00:41:51Thank you for those details.
00:41:52In fact, we'll keep coming back to you for more updates on the return journey.
00:41:57And,
00:41:57These iconic words first heard in space from Rakesh Sharma in 1984 were once again echoed by our nation's bride,
00:42:07Shubhanshu Shukla, during his farewell aboard the International Space Station.
00:42:11Here's a look at how the world is awaiting the return of the Axiom 4 crew to Earth.
00:42:16Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla paying tribute to India from space,
00:42:26while bidding farewell to the International Space Station ahead of the undocking session of the Dragon capsule.
00:42:34The second Indian in space is embarking on the last leg of a stellar journey,
00:42:39repeating the iconic words of the first Indian in space, Rakesh Sharma,
00:42:45paying tribute to an ambitious, fearless, confident and proud India.
00:42:52Over the past two and a half weeks or so, we have done a lot of science on the station,
00:42:57we have done outreach activities and also look back at the Earth,
00:43:00whatever time we found, we were always looking out the window.
00:43:03and it almost seems magical to me and I would like to take this opportunity to thank my country
00:43:11and all their citizens for supporting this mission and me with all their hearts
00:43:16and I would like to thank GISTRO for making this happen.
00:43:20I would also like to thank NASA and its international partners, Axiom Space, SpaceX.
00:43:27During his over two-week long stay, Shukla set new benchmarks in space research.
00:43:32From food diplomacy to science supremacy,
00:43:36Group Captain Shukla conducted breakthrough experiments on the ISS.
00:43:40The first experiment that I'm going to do today, which is scheduled today, is on the stem cells.
00:43:48So, what happens from Antriksha, is that gravity is absent, so the load is lost, so the muscle loss is lost.
00:43:55The second experiment is on the growth of microalgae.
00:43:58These microalgae are very small, but they are very nutritious.
00:44:02Earlier in his interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shukla gushed over Gajar ka halwa.
00:44:10You have brought Gajar ka halwa, kya usse apne saathiyo ko khi laya?
00:44:20Yes, Pradhan Madri ji, I have brought some things to my country, like Gajar ka halwa,
00:44:27Mungdal ka halwa, or Amras.
00:44:32As Captain Shukla gets earthbound, he has scripted India's proudest chapter in human space flight.
00:45:18Shukts not just reached for the stars,
00:45:22but brought India closer to them.
00:45:24Pure Report, India Today.
00:45:26And we'll now tell you about Shubhanshu Shukla's return journey from the International Space Station to earth,
00:45:35which includes undocking and splashdown.
00:45:37Now, the Dragon capsule undocks from the ISS cold gas thrusters and initiates departure.
00:45:43Now, this will be happening today.
00:45:45Deorbit burn slows the capsule and allows safe re-entry into earth's atmosphere.
00:45:50And it is also pertinent to note that there's extreme heat during re-entry,
00:45:54which is over 2000 degrees Celsius, but there's heat shield to protect the capsule.
00:45:59Now, tomorrow, parachute deployment slows descent for a safe landing
00:46:04and there will be a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
00:46:07Axiom 4 mission ends with ocean recovery.
00:46:09This will be happening tomorrow.
00:46:11And a SpaceX recovery team will be on standby capsule and a crew retrieved post splashdown.
00:46:18Medical evaluation for astronauts standard post mission health checks.
00:46:22These will be happening after the splashdown tomorrow.
00:46:25Now, it is also important to understand that what happens once Shubhanshu Shukla returns from space to Earth.
00:46:32Now, he will be undergoing seven-day rehabilitation after his return.
00:46:36He will be readjusting to Earth's gravity post the mission.
00:46:40So, in space, there's zero gravity.
00:46:42So, it will take some time for him to readjust to Earth's gravity post the mission.
00:46:46He will be supervised by expert flight surgeons throughout.
00:46:50And rehabilitation ensures safe physical recovery process.
00:46:54And this program also helps restore normal bodily functions.
00:47:01And India Today exclusively spoke to the family of group captain Shubhanshu Shukla,
00:47:05the man who's made the nation proud on a global stage.
00:47:08Let's take a look at what they had to say.
00:47:10We sirkali kingdom student as a Joabakim
00:47:17earlier comes to three about the witch shells.
00:47:19Bloodialbak Genev picked up on a fifth stage.
00:47:22That's really a message who doesn't have thekarindustrial
00:47:28but the police and worked처럼 was SCP.
00:47:31You must also put across the dignitary difficulties of the community.
00:47:33That looks like one of these.
00:47:34It's more democratic commन.
00:47:35When we're meeting you, Hiaals with the sol приборadi мест treatment,
00:47:37We're meeting you as a student.
00:47:38A political storm has broken out in Odisha
00:48:07after a 20-year-old student set herself ablaze
00:48:09on a government college campus in Odisha's Balasor.
00:48:12The incident took place at FM Autonomous College.
00:48:15Students' complaints of sexual harassment against the HOD,
00:48:18Sameer Sahu, had been allegedly ignored by the authorities.
00:48:22The victim suffered over 90% burns during the self-immolation
00:48:26and is now in critical condition at Ames, Bhubaneshwar.
00:48:30The state government is facing the heat
00:48:31for failing to address her harassment complaints in time.
00:48:34In fact, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charanmanji
00:48:37has responded to the horror,
00:48:39assuring that the inquiry team is investigating the matter
00:48:42and the government is taking this very seriously.
00:48:45But opposition leaders are slamming the BJP
00:48:47over the shocking case of institutional apathy.
00:48:49Former Chief Minister and Biju Janta Dal Chief Naveen Patnaik
00:48:52has alleged systemic denial of justice.
00:48:55The Congress, on the other hand,
00:48:57has accused the government of deflecting criticism
00:48:59and failing to protect women
00:49:01while the TMC has attacked the BJP,
00:49:03saying that beti bachao, beti padhao is a farce.
00:49:06If the teachers have proved something like that,
00:49:13if it's against them,
00:49:14if it's true, if it's true,
00:49:17then according to the people,
00:49:20the punishment should get them.
00:49:22They should get them.
00:49:23What was the shame of being doing?
00:49:25What was the education minister doing?
00:49:27They were sleeping for one month,
00:49:30that they were sleeping for another year,
00:49:32the recognition of being doing,
00:49:34while the
00:49:51people are struggling for their duty
00:49:53and are relevant to our group.
00:49:55I just want to question to the state government that it is high time you get up from your sleep.
00:50:11You have been completely deflecting the criticism, deflecting the allegations that is being levied
00:50:17on the state government time and again. The state government has failed her. The authorities have
00:50:22failed to give her the protection. Unfortunately, she is also a member of the ABVP.
00:50:31Another campus horror has rocked Kolkata. Just weeks after the alleged gang rape in South
00:50:35Kolkata Law College, a student has alleged that she was raped by another student inside the boys
00:50:42hostel of IIM, Kolkata on Friday. But in an unexpected twist, the survivor student's father
00:50:48has denied all the allegations. He claimed that no one has misbehaved with her and no sexual
00:50:54assault took place. Here's a detailed report.
00:51:00After RGCOR and South Kolkata Law College horrors, it is the prestigious business school IIM, Kolkata.
00:51:09Another rape shame in the city of Joy. A counsellor has now alleged that she was raped inside the
00:51:16reputed Management Institute's Boys Hostel. The survivor claims that she was invited to the
00:51:22hostel on pretext of a session. She claims her pizza and water was laced with sedatives to overpower her
00:51:29for the rape. After the woman gained consciousness, she realised that she had been tortured and raped.
00:51:36She was even reportedly threatened by the accused to keep her mouth shut.
00:51:40But in an unexpected twist, the victim's father denied any sexual assault. The victim's father,
00:51:47in fact, claimed that her daughter fell from an auto.
00:52:10Police have filed a case and arrested the accused. An IIM, Kolkata student, Parmanan Topanwar.
00:52:26He was sent to police custody, but his family claims that he's innocent.
00:52:30Another rape case in Bengal's capital has ignited a massive political slugfest.
00:52:59TMC shrugging responsibility retorted that the crime took place inside a central government-run institution.
00:53:05BJP has cornered Trinamool over the rising crimes against women and pointed out the law and order
00:53:33will endless rape taints impact Mamata Banerjee's fortunes in next year's Assembly polls.
00:53:39Bureau report,
00:53:41Will endless rape taints impact Mamata Banerjee's fortunes in next year's Assembly polls?
00:54:02Bureau Report, India Today.
00:54:04An hour-shifting focus, a rising tennis star shot dead, not by a stranger, but by her own father.
00:54:1425-year-old Radhika Yadav's murder in Haryana's Guru Ram has shocked the entire nation.
00:54:19And now, her best friend says it was pre-planned.
00:54:22But the family has denied this claim and have termed the allegations as baseless.
00:54:26Take a look at this report.
00:54:28A bubbly, charismatic and talented young girl had her life tragically cut short.
00:54:39Radhika Yadav didn't die chasing her dreams.
00:54:43She died behind closed doors, shot dead by her own father,
00:54:49who pumped multiple bullets into her in their kitchen on her mom's birthday.
00:54:55A father whose jealousy may have been darker than anyone could ever imagine.
00:55:03Radhika's fame was rare.
00:55:05Even at a young age, she earned both respect and income through her tennis academy.
00:55:10But that success wasn't celebrated at home or by her father.
00:55:16It allegedly became the source of deep resentment.
00:55:19Radhika's best friend claimed that the young tennis star was ruthlessly suppressed by a conservative family.
00:55:27And she was on a break point.
00:55:29According to the initial probe, her father, Deepak Yadav, was staunted by relatives for living off his daughter's earnings.
00:55:57The accused father had reportedly been depressed and sleep deprived for 15 days before the murder.
00:56:04Not speaking to anyone in the house, he had even asked Radhika to shut down her tennis academy.
00:56:10The very dream she was building.
00:56:14Then came the fateful day.
00:56:17Radhika was in the kitchen, cooking a birthday treat for her mother.
00:56:20When she was shot at point blank range by her own father.
00:56:26Inside their double story home in Gurugram's sector 57.
00:56:30The killer father is remorseful, hoping for the nose for his ghastly crime.
00:56:49But the family is still shell-shocked.
00:56:52Radhika's brother denies that jealousy was the trigger for murder.
00:56:55Was it true?
00:57:25Was it a twisted sense of honour for the father?
00:57:33A life full of promise gone too soon.
00:57:35And someone who should have cherished Radhika turned out to be the one who snuffed her young life.
00:57:42Bureau Report, India Today.
00:57:45And my colleague Shriya Kundu spoke exclusively with former IPS Kiran Bedi over Radhika Yadav's murder.
00:57:59Listen in.
00:57:59My heart cried out and the blog came out of me.
00:58:10So for me a purge.
00:58:11And also release of anguish within.
00:58:16And what did I see?
00:58:17I saw the...
00:58:19Today we are at crossroads.
00:58:21We are at crossroads.
00:58:23And what are those crossroads?
00:58:24Exactly where the father was.
00:58:27Why did he shoot her?
00:58:28Because she had now gone out of control.
00:58:32Of his control.
00:58:34He had gone out of his control.
00:58:37He made her a champion.
00:58:40Yeah?
00:58:40He forgot he made her a champion.
00:58:42He forgot that she was playing in wonderful tennis shorts.
00:58:45Hitting so well.
00:58:46Travelling around the country.
00:58:47And that he was accompanying her.
00:58:50But she also was complaining that there are too many controls.
00:58:55And that she's feeling suffocated.
00:58:57And she was already having problems and arguments with her father.
00:59:01Because it was a suffocating control.
00:59:04On one hand he's making her shine and make visible in the world today as a tennis champion.
00:59:10What resonated with me was tennis.
00:59:13Because that was a common game.
00:59:14I played as a girl and she was now playing.
00:59:18And that she was stroking so well.
00:59:20When I saw her practicing, I found it a perfect stroke.
00:59:24We have really lost a great...
00:59:26A very good tennis champion actually in her.
00:59:28A very versatile girl.
00:59:30So the problem here is...
00:59:32Father was at crossroads.
00:59:36On modernity.
00:59:38Modernity.
00:59:39Needs of the day.
00:59:40And yet what his legacy is.
00:59:43The legacy...
00:59:44Our legacy is still in conflict.
00:59:47Legacy is the girl is not...
00:59:49There are red lines for girls.
00:59:51There are no red lines for boys.
00:59:53But there is an opening for girls.
00:59:55And there's a red line for girls.
00:59:57So I think he started to...
00:59:59There was a conflict with him.
01:00:00His mind was in conflict.
01:00:02Why?
01:00:02Because his friends were in conflict.
01:00:04And the company he was keeping...
01:00:06And the taunts impacted him.
01:00:08And he was not clear-headed.
01:00:09He was a confused man.
01:00:10He was in confusion.
01:00:12He was in contradiction.
01:00:13He was in conflict.
01:00:15On one hand, he wanted the girl of the modern times playing tennis and being a champion.
01:00:21And yet he wanted a girl to be under control within red lines.
01:00:25And now she was breaking those red lines.
01:00:27And he couldn't take it.
01:00:28Because now the taunts started to come of all these.
01:00:31Whether it was a dress.
01:00:32Or whether it was a versatility.
01:00:34Or whether it was having friends with the boys.
01:00:36No, that's now normal for any girl who's mobile, who's educated, who's playing.
01:00:43She plays now.
01:00:44She is now...
01:00:45She is a part of a whole.
01:00:48She's not separate girl, boy.
01:00:50She's now one of the community, one of the society.
01:00:53That was not acceptable.
01:00:54That's why I'm saying today we are at crossroads.
01:00:57Indian society is at crossroads.
01:00:59It educates a woman.
01:01:01Marries her off.
01:01:03Still with a hefty dowry.
01:01:05Still with a hefty dowry.
01:01:06And yet, when she suffers domestic violence back home.
01:01:09And she tells her father, I'm not happy here.
01:01:12And the father still says, adjust.
01:01:14And she goes about committing suicide.
01:01:17So she educated.
01:01:18She's professional.
01:01:19She was wealthy.
01:01:20And yet, did not have an independent mind to say, enough.
01:01:24I'm going out.
01:01:25Because the house is locked.
01:01:27So her parental home is no more open.
01:01:29That's a crossroad.
01:01:30The parental home yet was now saying, enough.
01:01:33We've already married you off.
01:01:34See, India is at crossroads.
01:01:36It's educating its daughters, but not giving them the equality with the boys.
01:01:42Of course, responsibility.
01:01:43Sense of responsibility has to be there.
01:01:45Responsible behavior is good parenting.
01:01:48But so many controls, suffocating controls is not good parenting.
01:01:54Now, shifting focus, the Mecca of cricket.
01:01:59Lords is set to witness an exciting fifth day between India and England.
01:02:04India need 135 runs to win the Lords test on the final day.
01:02:07But India is in a spot of bother with four wickets down, which will make this fifth and final day a nail-biter.
01:02:15Now, chasing a target of 193, the visitors lost four wickets in the last session on day four.
01:02:21Jofra Archer dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal on a duck while a bride and cars picked two wickets in Karun Nair and the Indian captain Shubman Gill.
01:02:30Akash Deeb, who came in as the night watchman, was cleaned up by Ben Stokes, which led to stumps on the fourth day.
01:02:36Now, KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 33.
01:02:40Earlier, Washington Sundar led the Indian attack, picking up four wickets as England were bundled out for 192 in their second innings.
01:02:47Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohamed Siraj picked up two wickets each.
01:02:51Joe Root was the highest scorer for the hosts with 40 runs.
01:02:57And my colleague Nikhil is now joining us with more details on this Nikhil.
01:03:01Exciting fifth day in Lourdes with India needing 135 runs, whereas the England side needs six wickets.
01:03:09So, is the match tilted towards India's victory on day five?
01:03:14Well, Anjali, that's very tough to say.
01:03:16I mean, I'd have to say that the match is on a night set at the moment.
01:03:20Nothing much to choose from between the two teams.
01:03:22We were just talking about this particular test match.
01:03:25But if you take a look at the series, it's tied 1-1.
01:03:27We are in the third test match and it's gone to the fifth and final day without any team having a clear advantage.
01:03:35I think if you had to speak to ten people as to which team seems to be favourite at the moment,
01:03:40I think it'll be split down the middle with five probably saying that India have a better chance of winning
01:03:45and five probably saying that England do.
01:03:47So, I think that is what sets up for an exciting final day at Lourdes.
01:03:51Usually, 135 more runs to get for a batting line-up like that of India, which has been bolstering their batting a bit.
01:04:02If you take a look at India's batting line-up, they've been playing a few all-rounders.
01:04:06India, in fact, have three all-rounders in their batting line-up, which does give you hope that even though India have lost four wickets,
01:04:12and I'd say technically three because one of them happens to be a tail-ender in Akashdeep.
01:04:17So, you know, with six wickets in hand, with 135 runs to get, more often than not, you'll be backing the batting side.
01:04:25But what one mustn't forget, and the thing that is also giving England an edge, is the fact that the pitch has started to deteriorate.
01:04:32It is the fifth day. We've seen some uneven bounce on day three as well as day four, and it's expected to increase a bit.
01:04:38And that's what makes this entire total very tricky.
01:04:42So, I mean, just to sum it up, I think it's going to be a close game.
01:04:45India will have to bat very carefully and be mindful of that uneven bounce, whereas there's the other thing that will play on their minds is that of pressure,
01:04:53because pressure makes batters and teams do funny things.
01:04:58England, on the other hand, would want to take the advantage of that uneven bounce.
01:05:02So, I think it's all set up for a very exciting day.
01:05:04If India are to win this game from here on, I think this will be one of the famous wins that India have achieved on foreign service.
01:05:13Absolutely, Nikhil. In fact, KL Rahul is also there, though he needs a good partnership to clinch victory.
01:05:19So, what should be the strategy of the Indian side today?
01:05:22Well, I think you, you know, you hit the nail on the head when you speak about KL Rahul,
01:05:27because I think he's going to be key.
01:05:29We saw that in the first innings as well, that he was the century maker for India.
01:05:35And the reason that India managed to get the exact same amount of runs that England have managed, 387 in their first inning.
01:05:43So, it was a dead heat in the first innings, all down to that batting by KL Rahul.
01:05:47So, if you see India's first inning so far, the phase of play that has allowed them to get to 58,
01:05:55even there, KL Rahul has looked like the most all-round and well-suited batter for these conditions.
01:06:02So, I think his picket is going to be key.
01:06:04The other player, I think alongside KL Rahul, who probably can determine the fortunes of this test match for India,
01:06:11will be Arishabh Pant.
01:06:12And these two had a, you know, big role to play in ensuring India were neck-and-neck with England in the first innings.
01:06:19And Rishabh Pant would be walking out to bat when the first ball is gold.
01:06:23Because remember, India lost the picket of Akashdeep right at the end of day four.
01:06:27So, this partnership that is going to start with KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant is actually going to tell you
01:06:32which way this test match is going to turn.
01:06:35Absolutely. Nikhil, thank you so much for all those details.
01:06:37All-I's certainty remain on the fifth day at Lord's, which is going to be very exciting.
01:06:46And there's a new champion in men's singles circuit at Wimbledon.
01:06:49World No. 1 Yannick Sinner won his first Wimbledon title by defeating Carlos Alcarat in the final.
01:06:56Sinner registered a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory, avenging his French Open defeat by Alcarat just a month ago.
01:07:04Sinner began well but Alcarat made his way back to take the first set.
01:07:09But after that, it was total dominance by Sinner.
01:07:12The Italian grabbed early breaks in the second, third and fourth sets to topple the Spaniard on the centre court.
01:07:18With the win, Sinner claimed his fourth Grand Slam title of his career and a first major victory not on hard courts.
01:07:25Alcarat, on the other hand, lost his first final at a Grand Slam.
01:07:29It's difficult to lose, you know, it's always difficult to lose, even if it isn't in the final.
01:07:38But, you know, first of all, I just have to, you know, congratulate Yannick once again.
01:07:43I just congratulations to you, you know, every week.
01:07:46So, it's a really well-deserved, you know, trophy, unbelievable two weeks here in London for you playing a great tennis.
01:08:00Yes, I would say mostly emotionally, because I had a very tough loss in Paris.
01:08:07So, it's, but at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter how you win or you lose the especially important tournaments.
01:08:17You just have to understand what you did wrong, trying to work on that.
01:08:21That's exactly what we did.
01:08:23We tried to accept the loss and just kept working.
01:08:27And this is, for sure, one of the reasons why I hold this trophy here.
01:08:31And I'm just so grateful that I'm healthy, that I have great people around me, which is the most important part.
01:08:39And having this trophy with me means a lot.
01:08:42Saina Nehwal, Parupalli Kashyap have decided to separate after nearly seven years of marriage.
01:08:47Saina took to Instagram to announce her decision via a brief statement.
01:08:52They officially married in 2018.
01:08:54Saina and Kashyap grew up together through the ranks of Indian badminton at the Pulela Gopichand Academy.
01:08:59Saina became a global icon with her Olympic bronze at the 2012 Games and world number one ranking.

01:09:11while also clinching three gold medals in the Commonwealth Games.
01:09:14Kashyap, on the other hand, carved his own legacy with the Commonwealth Games gold and consistent performances on the international stage.
