00:02Biggest fight for your career, and you come up with what looked like

00:05the finest performance of your career.

00:07Was that the performance you were looking for?

00:09Nah, I came in here to prove a point.

00:12It wasn't the performance I was looking for because I came in here

00:15trying to prove a point, and I was trying to fight.

00:17So I took more punishment than usual.

00:19But at the end of the day, I told y'all,

00:21whatever it takes to get the job done, I got dog in me.

00:24I'm not no puppy. I'm not no poodle.

00:27I'm a tough guy, so I got dog in me.

00:29I fought.

00:30You heard a lot over the last week or so about running,

00:34about punch output.

00:36What point do you think you proved tonight?

00:38I proved that I'm a dog.

00:39I was just one of the toughest fighters at 135 pounds.

00:42I wanted a lot of people to get in the ring with him

00:44and see how tough he is.

00:45So he came in, he pushed me, he pushed me to another level.

00:48You took the most punishment, at least the most punches landed,

00:52you have in your professional career.

00:54What adjustments, how deep did you have to dig tonight?

00:56I had to go in my bag.

00:58He just kept coming.

00:59He tried to pin me against the ropes, so I had to switch it up

01:01and not sit against the ropes too long.

01:03So I sat there out of time for like five to ten seconds,

01:07and that's what we did.

01:09You took control of this fight in the second half.

01:11I thought you dominated really from the fourth round on.

01:14What were those adjustments that you made in the second half of the fight?

01:17Once again, I had to stay off the ropes, pick my punches, and make sure I come out victorious.

01:22Zapater's a tough guy.

01:23I put a lot of punishment on him tonight, and I just want to thank y'all for the opportunity.
