00:00All Customs and Border Protection officers are rigorously trained to spot signs of deception.
00:16Officers have to quickly observe and analyze the behavior of thousands of people every day.
00:22U.S. citizen, sir?
00:24Yes, sir.
00:25What purpose for your trip today?
00:26May I see?
00:27May I see?
00:29What they teach is there's a baseline, which is the way everybody's acting.
00:32U.S. citizen?
00:33Yes.
00:34It's maybe the shaking, or it's the avoiding eye contact, the sweating, or they could just be too calm.
00:40There's people that are too calm, and that's also something that you're like, ah, no.
00:44If they're too stiff, too quiet, they don't really want to talk to you, that's another sign you're looking for.
00:51Things like that.
00:52This afternoon, Officer Martinez is on primary.
00:56There you go.
00:57Go ahead.
00:59When a woman approaches who has spent the afternoon in Mexico shopping.
01:04Hello.
01:05Yes, sir.
01:06You a citizen, ma'am?
01:07Yes, sir.
01:08Let me have you step back for me.
01:09Okay.
01:10Lift the camera, please.
01:12Each traveler is allowed to bring in 50 tablets of controlled medication per month.
01:21What kind of medication do you have?
01:22The Alprazolam?
01:23Yes.
01:24Is that what you were going to say?
01:25What else?
01:26That's it.
01:27How many bottles do you have?
01:28Do you want to show me your bag here?
01:29Yes.
01:30Take a step back, please.
01:31Okay.
01:32How many bottles of Xanax do you have?
01:33Just one.
01:34The woman appears nervous and has declared one bottle of Aprazolam, a generic brand of
01:43Xanax.
01:44Do you have anything in your purse?
01:45Oh, here.
01:46Go ahead.
01:47Oh, it's a yes or no question?
01:48No.
01:49I mean, just the regular stuff, like the wallet, you know.
01:53It was just a yes or no question.
01:54Here you go.
01:55Okay.
01:56Do you have any other medication you haven't told me about?
01:59No.
02:00Anything more than 50 tablets is not allowed and could result in a $5,000 fine or arrest.
02:08Let me see your keys real quick.
02:09No, let me see your hand.
02:10Go like this real quick.
02:11Like this?
02:12Yeah.
02:13Why are you shaking so much?
02:14Because my sugar's off.
02:15Your sugar's off?
02:16I don't have health insurance.
02:17Oh, okay.
02:18So your sugar's off, but you don't have health insurance.
02:19One thing at a time.
02:20Why are you shaking is my question.
02:21Why am I shaking?
02:22Because my sugar's off.
02:23Like when your sugar's off.
02:24So that's what it is.
02:25Yeah.
02:26The woman's inability to give consistent answers, coupled with her hand tremors, is
02:38a red flag for Officer Martinez.
02:40Yes.
02:41All right.
02:42We're going to go this way, okay?
02:43Okay.
02:44Straight ahead or I'll follow you.
02:45You're going to go right out the door right there.
02:46Okay.
02:49So I started asking her questions.
02:54Every single time I would ask her a question, she would get nervous.
02:57Basic questions.
02:58Do you have anything in your purse?
03:00And she just gives me the whole purse.
03:02I did notice her hands visibly shaking.
03:04I didn't like the way she was responding.
03:05She would look away when she was answering my questions.
03:07Somebody that's being truthful will look you straight in the eye and tell you, hey, this
03:10is what I'm doing.
03:11This is why I'm doing it.
03:12And what kind of medication did you bring me back today?
03:17Just C.L.P. has a lemon.
03:19They say the one bottle, but they tell me it's once a month.
03:23So, yes.
03:24And that's all you have?
03:25Just one bottle?
03:26Just one bottle.
03:27If we were to search you, search your person, are we going to find anything else?
03:31Mm-hmm.
03:32Are we?
03:33No.
03:34No?
03:35Nothing else on you?
03:36I'm convinced by the woman's answers.
03:38Officers decide to do a full pat-down.
03:43Come over here, honey.
03:44I'll take you over.
03:45OK?
03:46If any medication is found, she could be looking at a $5,000 fine or arrest.
04:05Miss, what's this?
04:07At the HIV crisis to keep going.
04:08Despite her earlier denials, the woman has been found smuggling pills in her underwear.
04:28A U.S. citizen crossing into America with a large amount of Mexican-made food has been
04:38detained after officers found a suspicious package concealed within a bag of coffee.
04:43Bags didn't look a normal shape. I felt something when I squashed them and also coffee started
05:01coming out of the top. They didn't look properly sealed. Travelers often cross the border with
05:08Mexican food items which can't be found in America. But this coffee stands out because
05:15these brands are also sold in the U.S.
05:23Here we go. More coffee. But coffee is not something normally brought from Mexico. You can feel it
05:34like something's in there. So right now at this point, the story doesn't really make sense. But
05:41what does make sense is that there's something. There's something in there. But it's a cat-mouse
05:47game. It's just a matter of the mouse got caught today. Whoever packed the drugs might have hoped
05:53the coffee would disguise the smell. I'll find out, partner. There's something. This one was already
06:02open. There it is. It feels like rocks. Yeah. You can sell them. There's more in here.
06:19How normal coffee bags you feel. Nothing obstructing it. Wow. Check this out. Oh, yeah. What's that?
06:26Definitely packed on the other ones. That one's different. Yep. This one was plastic and that
06:31one's black tape. A well-trained canine can still locate drugs even if they have been masked by smells
06:38like coffee or other strong odors. This is my first time doing coffee. But of all the detection tools
06:46at Customs and Border Protection's disposal, nothing beats officer diligence. And another one.
06:53From the feel of it, you're looking at possibly meth or... Maybe even heroin. Yeah, it could be heroin
07:00possibly too, right? Yeah. That'd be awesome if it's heroin. Crystal meth is usually never this hard.
07:08That's it. Pull packages. So the next process right now, we're going to test them.
07:21In Progresso... Come over here. Okay. I'll check you over.
07:38A woman has been searched after officers were put on alert by her nervous behavior.
07:42Miss, what's this?
07:46Hidden inside her underwear is a pack of around 100 pills.
07:51The medication is tested.
08:04There we go.
08:04So it is Xanax.
08:08While Xanax is commonly prescribed for the treatment of anxiety and insomnia,
08:13its misuse can lead to overdose. And people report severe withdrawals when lowering dosages.
08:20The woman could be facing up to five years in prison for a $5,000 fine for smuggling a controlled
08:37substance.
08:39I can't afford health insurance. So I have trouble sleeping. They beat me up about a few weeks ago.
08:47So my legs are hurt. I mean, I've got bruises. I had a big welt here. So I've just been in pain.
08:54Who beat you up?
08:55My brother and my sister-in-law.
08:57Why?
08:58Because they thought I had done something to my mom and nothing had even happened.
09:03My brother just didn't want to listen to me. He didn't want to talk to me.
09:07So something happened to your mom?
09:09Nothing. Nothing.
09:10Oh, okay.
09:11Nothing. I didn't do anything to her.
09:15So the medication is all for you. Is that correct?
09:17Yeah.
09:17Ma'am, you come over here and declare everything, right? You won't get in trouble, right?
09:21You knew what you were doing, obviously. You put it where you put it.
09:25So that's the reason why you get in trouble, okay?
09:29So would you say you're addicted to it?
09:31No. No. I'm not addicted. I'm not addicted. It just helps me sleep. That's it. That's all it needs.
09:40The whole smuggling incident is not okay. You can get arrested for that. You know that, right?
09:45Are you aware of that? Have you ever been arrested?
09:48Never in your life. All right. Give it a second, okay?
09:53What happens next will depend on the woman's criminal history.
09:57Yes, ma'am.
09:58Okay. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Bye-bye.
10:02Checks reveal she has no previous convictions.
10:06Right now, I already spoke to the supervisor.
10:11He's here to give you the opportunity to go and dispose of it in Mexico.
10:18Thank you. I truly appreciate it.
10:22This time, she has narrowly escaped a penalty.
10:25So now every time that you cross, you are going to be getting checked because of what happened today.
10:31No, I'm not going to do that anymore. Okay.
10:33So grab your stuff. Okay.
10:36If she is caught doing the same thing again, she can expect a fine or jail time.
10:56I believe she did learn her lesson. I do not see it happening again in the future, but who knows nowadays, right?
11:00In Hidalgo...
11:11In the field of it, you're looking at possibly meth or...
11:14Maybe even heroin.
11:16Yeah, it can be heroin possibly too, right?
11:18Yeah.
11:18That'd be awesome if it's heroin.
11:19Crystal meth is usually never this constant.
11:23That's hard.
11:25Officers have discovered 12 bundles of suspected narcotics hidden inside bags of coffee.
11:33Got a couple of field tests that we're going to use to test one of the products.
11:36We do want to start with that other one because it is odd that one of these packages is wrapped differently from the other.
11:41Eleven of the packages are loosely wrapped in plastic, while one of them is tightly packed and has a different consistency.
11:50So as you can see here, this is a white powdery substance.
11:55From experience, it's more than likely cocaine.
11:57Officer Ventura uses a field test kit to check the substance.
12:04If it is cocaine, the clear liquid will turn blue.
12:11As you can see, the first color is supposed to turn blue.
12:21Fits positive.
12:22So we got one out of one.
12:25Second one, turn pink.
12:30Last one, a combination of blue and pink.
12:35That's it.
12:36Positive for the properties of cocaine.
12:38Now to determine what this other one is.
12:44The other 11 packages appear to be a different narcotic.
12:50That's something you don't see here every day.
12:52It's almost like a rock.
12:53Let's see if we can get a little sample.
12:54Yeah, no, this is tough to get through.
12:57It looks like tar.
12:59A dark tar-like substance can mean only one thing.
13:08Heroin has got to turn this nice little dark purple.
13:15Heroin?
13:15Heroin.
13:16Oh, we got ourselves a good note.
13:17It's a good one.
13:19Black tar heroin is mostly produced in Mexico.
13:23The dark color is from the impurities left over from the manufacturing process.
13:27It's actually one of the most expensive drugs out on the market.
13:30We have a combined total of 12 packages, one cocaine, and 11 heroin.
13:44And heroin is very rare that we get through here.
13:46So whenever we get it, it's always exciting.
13:49In total, officers have seized 4.6 kilograms of heroin and 240 grams of cocaine,
14:00with a combined street value of just over $1 million.
14:05It's a pretty big load of heroin.
14:08This is a significant bust for pedestrians.
14:12All right, man.
14:12Great job, brother.
14:13Thanks, man.
14:15Another one bites the dust.
14:16The man will now be interviewed by Homeland Security Investigations
14:22and could be facing 10 years in jail if convicted.
14:26Now that he got caught, he's probably going to spill some names,
14:29because if he goes down, a lot more people are going to go down with him.
14:33And he's going to go down with him.
14:44Jail, five and seven, run.
14:46Bringing drugs of any kind into the United States
14:50is a federal offense.
14:53When crossing the border by car, it's the responsibility of the driver
14:57to make sure there are no narcotics on board.
15:01Crossing here, as per the law, you're making entry into the U.S.
15:04It's the same as any port, whether it's an airport, a seaport, a cruise ship.
15:08You're coming from out of the country.
15:10We don't know what countries you went to.
15:12We don't know what you picked up.
15:14We don't know what type of business you were doing.
15:16We're inspecting you.
15:17We want to make sure you are who you say you are.
15:19And everything lines up.
15:22Tonight, at the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit,
15:27a vehicle has been referred to the secondary inspection area.
15:31After officers noticed, the driver and passenger appeared nervous.
15:36Vehicle secondary, lane five.
15:38The couple is traveling from Canada into the U.S. for a college football game.
16:03So this one was referred from primary.
16:05The primary officer had a feeling about these two coming over
16:08and wanted the vehicle to be looked at a little bit more.
16:10So just making sure to do a thorough inspection of the vehicle.
16:15To speed up the search, Officer Ingram and K-9 Sawyer
16:19are called in to check the vehicle.
16:21Hey Ingram, you want to just run them around?
16:23Yeah.
16:28Good boy.
16:30Good night, boy.
16:35This vehicle is referred for a seven-point inspection.
16:44Like a more detailed inspection of the vehicle.
16:46So you're hitting all seven points.
16:51Sawyer is trained to detect a range of different narcotics.
16:54Where is Keef?
16:55I know.
16:56It's everywhere.
16:59And he immediately alerts.
17:01OK.
17:04Good seat, bud.
17:05Good seat.
17:08All right.
17:09He alerted the vehicle.
17:11He actually alerted to the exterior of the car.
17:13And that's why I threw him in when I did.
17:15Three positive enough.
17:16Good job, bud.
17:22With a positive hit from the K-9,
17:24officers thoroughly searched the car.
17:33They're just going through all the additional baggage.
17:37Make sure there's no contraband.
17:40Canada is one of the only countries in the world
17:43that federally allows the manufacturing and consumption of marijuana.
17:47Canada.
17:49But crossing international borders with it remains illegal.
17:52Are you on the glove box now?
17:55Yeah, that's fine.
18:04Bingo.
18:05There we go.
18:05Hidden in the glove box.
18:07Magic mushrooms.
18:09Officers find a pack of magic mushrooms.
18:12Magic mushrooms are illegal federally and still illegal in Michigan, of course.
18:16So bringing it across the international border is prohibited.
18:19So you're a seizable item and most likely be a penalty involved with it.
18:23The pack will be tested.
18:25And the driver of the vehicle could be in line for a fine or possible jail time
18:30if they have previous criminal convictions.
18:32In Texas, the Rio Grande forms the border between the United States and Mexico.
18:50The river extends nearly 2,000 miles and is over 60 feet deep in places.
18:59Here, not only do the Mexican cartels traffic drugs across the river,
19:04they also traffic people.
19:06It's the responsibility of Border Patrol to keep the dividing line between the two countries safe and secure.
19:15Mostly for us, we're going to be detection, deterrence, and then rescues.
19:19In the past 25 years, at least 8,000 undocumented migrants have died attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border,
19:29making it the deadliest land route for migrants worldwide.
19:32Another big aspect is rescue.
19:35So a lot of times when they pile people into rafts, they're not the best condition.
19:38They'll either be sinking or they need something, or they'll just leave people on the bank.
19:42So we'll go there to respond to a 911 call out.
19:45You know, they'll ping the cell phone, and we'll go help with search and rescue.
19:52Coming up, coming up, coming up, coming up.
20:01Today, a group has been spotted crossing the river and illegally entering the United States.
20:15Hey, we're going to check this landing to see if it has the bracelets.
20:23Ten more.
20:24I know the other one that's got a lot.
20:27The group was caught on a motion detected digital camera installed by Border Patrol.
20:31Agents suspect that three or four migrants are being smuggled into the United States by a local cartel.
20:40So right here and then right in that, kind of the hidden spot of that tree.
20:44As the boat arrives at the last known sighting, they realize they are being watched.
20:50We have a scout on the Mexican side.
20:52He's someone who is keeping a lookout, and he's in communication with somebody.
20:57He does have a phone in hand.
20:59The average price a migrant will pay a trafficker to bring them across the border is $10,000.
21:06It's a lucrative business with extremely high stakes for all involved.
21:11Looks clear, Cap.
21:13Look, the guys are right there.
21:15Agents on the boat are backed up by air support and a team on the shoreline.
21:24So we're trying to find them right now in the brush, but we're going to try to let the agents know
21:28from where we get off, if we can let them know the direction to travel,
21:31and then we can coordinate better from there.
21:36Yeah, they got off here. You can see the water sign coming up.
21:40As agents reach the bank, they come across hundreds of discarded wristbands.
21:45In this area, there's a bunch of different wristbands, right?
21:52A lot of them say entrada or llegada, arrivals or stays.
21:57They have different markings on them. This one has a paw print.
22:00We have here a crown. All different types.
22:05Much like how the cartels brand their drug packages,
22:09they apply the same techniques to the people they smuggle as well.
22:12You can see a child's diaper on the side, clothing.
22:18And it does seem to be that they did cross through here.
22:21There was the fresh water droplets on this trail.
22:26Every month, Border Patrol finds hundreds of migrants in the Rio Grande Valley sector.
22:31We have multiple assets further up north just to try to pinch them in this brush.
22:36And then beyond that, so we have, like, layered.
22:38So in case they get past us, they got more people up top.
22:41But we're the ones tracking them right now, right next to the river.
22:43And it seems like we're getting pretty close to them with the canine.
22:49Hey, Troy. It looks like it's going upriver with the canine.
22:52Okay.
23:0230,000 kilos of cocaine are trafficked across the U.S.-Mexico border every year.
23:10Much of it originating in South America.
23:12Just you two?
23:18All right. Have a good day.
23:20Tonight at Eagle Pass, a truck has arrived at the bridge transporting two flatbed trailers.
23:29Right now, the primary officer referred this truck and trailer due to the travel pattern.
23:35The truck normally uses a bridge many miles away and has never crossed here before.
23:41So officers send it to the X-ray.
23:44This one is headed to Houston.
23:47No commodity, just two flatbeds.
23:49If there's something there, this X-ray will show it.
23:56It's an unusual load that has not been seen before at this bridge.
24:05Right now, we're seeing that there's an anomalies right here
24:08in the back of the trailer that is being towed here.
24:17The horizontal rear sill on one of the flatbeds appears darker on the X-ray than the others,
24:23leading officers to believe something is concealed inside.
24:29Supervisor Solis zeroes in on the suspected hiding place.
24:32There's something there.
24:44We got some white powdery substance.
24:47We got some white powdery substance.
24:59At the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit.
25:02Bingo. There we go.
25:05Magic mushrooms.
25:07Officers have found a pack of magic mushrooms in the car of a Canadian couple,
25:12traveling to the U.S. for a college football game.
25:15Definitely is the craziest name I've ever seen.
25:18Penis envy.
25:21Never really see that around, you know what I mean?
25:24Despite the commercial packaging,
25:26the production, sale and possession of magic mushrooms
25:30are illegal in both Canada and the U.S.
25:33Officer Musla tests the mushrooms to confirm they are illegal.
25:41The penalty could be up to a $5,000 fine.
25:45And the travelers risk having their car seized.
25:48Got to get it agitated a little bit.
25:52If it tests positive, the call will return from white to purple.
25:54And as you can see, it's changing to a purple color.
26:04Maybe fade right now, but it's positive.
26:09With a positive test result confirmed,
26:13the travelers will be denied entry to the United States.
26:16I will talk to the travelers and Georgia.
26:20Officers must determine whose mushrooms they are.
26:23And if no one takes responsibility, the driver will be charged.
26:28Who's it for?
26:29Who's for?
26:30The shrooms.
26:31We did not know they were back there.
26:33Okay, but who's it for?
26:35They were our friends who brought them on a camping trip.
26:37Who's driving?
26:38I was driving.
26:39It's going to be on you.
26:40Yeah.
26:41Okay.
26:42All right, take a seat for me.
26:50When we find the narcotics, none of them want to take blame of ownership for it.
26:55So therefore, we'll blame it on the driver of the vehicle,
26:58which the female was the driver of the vehicle.
27:02So she'll be charged with it tonight.
27:04It's up to Officer Musla to determine what consequences the woman will face today.
27:11Ma'am, come on up here.
27:14Because you're the driver of the vehicle and it was inside the car, right?
27:18So technically, it's a $5,000 penalty and they seize your vehicle.
27:21But because it's personal amount of use, the supervisor has reduced it down to $500,
27:26which you have to pay for today.
27:28The couple will be denied entry today and returned to Canada
27:33and will miss their college football game.
27:35Obviously, the consequences are pretty serious,
27:38bringing illegal narcotics into the United States.
27:40Make sure you guys check your vehicles.
27:41Make sure your car is clean and you don't have any illegal substance
27:44entering the United States, whether that's land, air or sea.
27:48It's been an expensive lesson for this young couple.
27:50Let's get in your vehicle so I can walk you guys back.
27:53Perfect. Thanks, man.
27:55I got it.
27:56And they can expect close scrutiny next time they cross the border.
28:00At Eagle Pass, officers suspect drugs have been concealed within the rear sill of a flatbed truck.
28:18We got some white powdery substance at the end of this drill bit.
28:24Officers now know where the suspected drugs are hidden.
28:30But the next challenge is getting them out.
28:32From the image, it does look like it's going to be a significant amount.
28:37So we're expecting to be a lot of narcotics.
28:41The rear sill is made from thick steel
28:44and directly supports the weight of the load at the back of the flatbed.
28:48Cutting through it is no easy job.
29:01Finally, the end is cut off.
29:13Allowing Supervisor Solis to see what's inside.
29:15Oh, yeah.
29:17There's definitely some bundles in there.
29:18So I'm going to call my team over so we can start extracting it.
29:23More officers are called in to help, but they run into a problem.
29:29How much further back in?
29:30Oh, they're all in, right to about the middle.
29:32Yeah, that's what I thought.
29:35The bricks have been tied together with a string
29:38and have been positioned in the middle of the rear sill,
29:40making them impossible to reach.
29:43The pole wouldn't work.
29:47If it's just like this, it's not going to do any good.
29:49But if we bend it?
29:50Yeah, I just need a little tiny bit of a hook.
29:52Like, the smaller, the better.
29:53Because I got to go over the top of the package.
29:59Officers try to bend the end of a steel pole
30:01in an attempt to hook the string and reach the narcotics.
30:10You broke the string?
30:17Yep.
30:17I thought I had the whole thing in it.
30:36In the Rio Grande Valley...
30:38Okay, Troy, it looks like it's going upriver with the canine.
30:45Border Patrol is tracking a group of undocumented migrants
30:48who have crossed the river and illegally entered the United States.
30:53There's a bunch of different wristbands, right?
30:57A lot of them say entrada or llegada, arrivals or stays.
31:02The group has most likely come from Central America
31:05and been smuggled here by Mexican drug cartels.
31:09This is pretty dense. It's pretty thick through here.
31:13This section of the Rio Grande is close to an access road on the American side.
31:17There's a bunch of small communities that are very near the Rio Grande.
31:24Therefore, the traffic moves quick.
31:26The load vehicle is usually already in the area waiting for them.
31:30And what that vehicle does is it tries to blend in with regular everyday traffic.
31:38The canine is struggling to accurately track their scent.
31:41Is that dog on the mic side? Or is it the canine? Because they just circled around.
31:48There was just too many people down there with the dog.
31:51Agents suspect the group has left the area
31:55and is lying low in the dense vegetation on the bank of the river.
31:58They get back in the boat.
32:20The canine unit has picked up the group's scent again.
32:23Is it true?
32:26Here, copy, copy, bro.
32:35Here, I need you on board.
32:45Mikey!
32:47Mikey!
32:48Good job, Mikey!
32:50Under thick foliage at the edge of the river.
32:54Agents find the men.
33:00If we didn't have the canine, we could have just easily walked right past.
33:03We could have followed all the sign.
33:04Hey, we have mud sign here, broken branches coming this way.
33:08And we could have easily just kept walking and been, you know,
33:12a couple yards down, a couple yards up.
33:15In reality, they're just right here, just waiting us out.
33:17So the canine was able to just scent,
33:19air scent them and put us right in perfect on the spot.
33:23The group will be processed at a border patrol station,
33:25where their biometric details will be taken.
33:32Coming up, coming up.
33:33Coming up, coming up.
33:36Despite the dangers of crossing the river,
33:38agents know it's only a matter of time before they're called out again,
33:43since people smuggling is such a lucrative trade for the cartels.
33:47In Eagle Pass.
33:59In Eagle Pass.
34:03Officers are still trying to remove bricks of suspected narcotics
34:13from the middle of the rear sill of a flatbed trailer.
34:20You break the string?
34:21Yep.
34:23I thought I had the whole thing in it.
34:24That's fine.
34:25They've been working for three hours,
34:28and have yet to remove the packages.
34:30Did you get it loose?
34:34Is it coming?
34:37Whoo!
34:38Here we go.
34:41One of the bricks has a hole in it,
34:43from when officers drilled into the steel sill.
34:45Just careful with the one that we probed already.
34:48Due to the prevalence of highly toxic drugs like fentanyl,
34:52officers removed the packages carefully.
34:55Yeah.
34:56Yeah, that goes all the way across.
35:03There's a drill gun.
35:07That's the one you drill.
35:08The hole's perfect.
35:09It's not even busted open.
35:17The last one?
35:17No.
35:18There's one more behind us.
35:22That's it.
35:24No more?
35:26That's it right there.
35:31Finally, after four hours,
35:34all the packages are removed,
35:36and there are even more than officers were expecting.
35:38And three little ones.
35:39How many?
35:4079 and three.
35:4479 large bricks and three round packages
35:48are taken to a secure area for testing.
35:52The different shapes could indicate
35:54that this is a mixed load of unrelated narcotics.
35:57It's been a very late night,
35:59but the night just got started.
36:01It's got to be another layer wrapping.
36:05Oh, it's a brand.
36:15Officers test one of the large packs.
36:22Cocaine.
36:22Yes, sir.
36:34All the large bricks are confirmed as cocaine.
36:38Officers now turn their attention to the three round packages,
36:42which are most likely a different narcotic.
36:46So the first, obviously, electrical tape.
36:49Then it looks like brown tape.
36:51And then foil.
36:56After the foil, the carbon paper.
37:02It has a real vinegar, like a sharp vinegar smell.
37:07The distinctive acidic smell could indicate that it is heroin.
37:11Officers used the laser detector to analyze the substance.
37:20Heroin?
37:21Really?
37:22Yep.
37:22Heroin.
37:23It's a brick of heroin.
37:27Tonight, officers have seized 193 pounds of cocaine
37:32and 17 pounds of heroin.
37:34You know, there's a reason why we come to work.
37:38So at the end of the day, very good catch.
37:43The street value of this bust is estimated at over $2.5 million.
37:48The driver is facing more than 10 years in jail,
37:53if found guilty of conspiracy to import narcotics.
38:08Oh.
38:08For the first time.
38:09Bye.
38:11Yeah.
38:12What?
38:17Well, let's get into thisping of the main journal.
38:19Oh, everyone.
38:21Oh, look.
38:24She was all into danger.
38:27Bye.
38:32Bye.
38:33Bye.
38:34Bye.
38:34Bye.
38:35Bye.
38:36Bye.
38:36Bye.
38:37Bye.
