‘MP is heart of Indian Diaspora in UAE’: Consulate General welcomes MP CM Mohan Yadav in Dubai

Dubai (UAE), July 13, 2025 (ANI): On MP CM Mohan Yadav's visit, Consul General of India in Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan said, "44 lakh Indians call the UAE their second home. A good representation of that is here today, welcoming you, honoring you, and waiting to listen to you. Madhya Pradesh is not only the heart of India, but it seems to be the heart of the Indian diaspora in the UAE as well... Looking at the reception he has got today, I am sure he will make it a point to come back to Dubai and spend much more time with the Indian diaspora."

00:05That shows the level of fondness and affection that the community has for him.

00:11Sir, I just want to tell you only one fact before you take the dais.

00:15You already are aware that 44 lakh Indians call UAE their second home.

00:22Many of them call UAE their first home.

00:25And a good representation of that is here today, welcoming you, honoring you, waiting to listen from you.

00:36But the best part that I have discovered today, sir, is that Madhya Pradesh is not only the heart of India,

00:44seems to be the heart of Indian diaspora in UAE.

00:47It came as a surprise to me to learn that Vashur Swapji was born in Ujain.

00:57Mr. Naresh Bhavnani is from Ujain.

01:00Good members of the Bora community came and told me that they also have Madhya Pradesh roots.

01:05I consider now that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of Indian community in UAE.

01:12So, very happy, very happy to join you today in welcoming the Honorable CM of Madhya Pradesh.

01:22We know that he has a very tight schedule.

01:24He is going to be here hardly 36 hours with us.

01:27But looking at the kind of reception that he has got today,

01:31I am sure he will make it a point to come back to Dubai and spend much more time with the diaspora

01:36and try and motivate you to achieve greater rights.

01:39So, without taking much of your time, sir, welcome once again and the floor is yours.
