00:00Ever wanted a concrete patio in your backyard?

00:05Well, let us tell you a secret.

00:08You don't really need to hire a crew to do it.

00:10You can just build it yourself.

00:12So we started by outlining the space that we want with wooden boards.

00:16These are going to be our borders, then we took some cement bags and put them in the middle.

00:20And here comes the trick.

00:22We can just open and pour them out on the ground like so.

00:25You don't need any fancy equipment.

00:28Then we just need to trowel it everywhere so that the surface is flat and not disproportioned.

00:33Now we need to add this rebar net to it since it helps the cement resulting in a stronger and more durable structure.

00:42We only need four more bags to cover the metallic net and then we can move on to the solidifying step.

00:53And here's another useful trick.

00:55Take a wood board and apply pressure to the surface to make it flat and even.

01:01Now it's time to add the water.

01:04Once the surface is completely wet, the cement will start to become solid.

01:10And there we go.

01:12The cement has cured so now we can safely remove the borders.

01:16And this is how a brand new patio is born.
