Historic vehicle gathering at Powderham Castle

00:00The biggest classical vehicle event in the southwest is currently underway in the grounds

00:06of Powderham Castle.

00:09This weekend the historic setting is home to the historic vehicle gathering organised

00:13by members of the Crash Box and Classic Car Club.

00:17The event brings together vehicles from more than a century of motoring with cars, motorcycles,

00:21commercial and military vehicles, tractors and mighty steam powered vehicles too.

00:26This year the gathering, which plays host for more than 1200 exhibits over two days,

00:29celebrating its 50th anniversary with a display of some of the veteran and vintage cars that

00:33attended the first rally as well as a special display of cars registered back in 1975.
