00:00Here is the story time how my boyfriend and I met on Hinge and what our first day, our first kind of interactions were like.

00:07I posted a TikTok saying how I met my boyfriend on Hinge.

00:10Two weeks after we met, he asked me to be his girlfriend.

00:12So I had some people asking for a little story time.

00:15So to set the scene, I was not living in LA full time yet.

00:20I was at the point where I was just coming here for modeling stuff for maybe like two, three-ish months at a time.

00:25So I was not living here.

00:26I downloaded Hinge for fun. I feel like a couple weeks before I met him just to be like, ooh, what's the vibe?

00:33I've never really used a dating app like ever.

00:35So I really didn't know how it was going to work, especially being in LA.

00:39I was like, what are these boys like? How is this going to go?

00:41I was like, you know what? Let's just try it. Let's see what happens.

00:44And yeah, I saw my boyfriend on Hinge.

00:47I think I messaged him first. I'm pretty sure.

00:50I'm also the type of person like if I want to talk to you and if I want to hang out with you or whatever,

00:54like I'm going to, if that means messaging you first, whatever, texting you first, like I don't mind doing that.

01:00I feel like online there's a lot of talk that like, oh, the guy has to message you first or like ask the guy if he's not doing A, B, C, and D,

01:08like all first off right off the gate, like he's not the one.

01:11I feel like social media can be very toxic in that sense where it's like if he's not doing everything for you.
