New Delhi, July 12, 2025 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, inaugurated a pilot project to convert the overhead wire network into an underground system at Janata Flats in Shalimar Bagh. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said, "Making overhead wires underground is a pilot project for Delhi. It is a vision and an idea that Delhi should become free of overhead wires. I am happy that through this project, the government is working to provide a new facility to the people of Delhi. A time will come when not a single wire will be visible in Delhi."
