00:00He used to be a retired Special Forces soldier, but now he was sent to this remote canyon.

00:04Every day, he had only one mission, to plant suspended mines along the cliffs,

00:08to keep something inside from crawling out. Nobody ever came here.

00:12Every 500 meters stood a heavy autocannon. His living quarters were a 100-meter tower,

00:16cliffs all around, and constant wind. And across the gorge, there was another identical tower.

00:21One day, he heard a strange sound over there. He grabbed his binoculars,

00:25and saw a woman standing on the platform. Suddenly, she turned to face him.

00:29Levi instinctively looked away. Because here, all contact was forbidden.

00:33That night, a storm rolled in. He couldn't sleep. He picked up his binoculars again.

00:37The woman was lighting candles in the dark. She seemed to feel his eyes on her.

00:41So she blew them out and just sat still. Finally, she couldn't hold back.

00:44She raised her binoculars to look at Levi, and saw him reading a book.

00:48Then she walked back in and wrote something, then raised her pistol to the sky.

00:51Bang! A single shot echoed in the canyon. It was their first time breaking the silence.

00:56She held up a sign. What's your name? Levi remembered the commander's warning.

01:00He held up his own sign. It said, no communication. But she wasn't done.

01:05She lifted her sniper rifle, aimed at his teacup. Bang! The cup shattered. Levi felt challenged.

01:10He raised his rifle too. The glass bottle exploded instantly. Through the scope, he watched her.

01:15She started clapping and laughed, then lifted another bottle over her head, daring him to shoot again.

01:20But in that moment, her smile froze. She started waving frantically, pointing down below his tower.

01:26Levi looked over the edge, and saw shadows climbing toward him.
