00:00Gary Coleman's ex-wife is sharing more details about his tragic death.

00:06During the upcoming A&E special Lie Detector Truth or Deception,

00:10Shannon Price reveals why she made the controversial decision to end the actor's life.

00:16Saying in the special per people, I had no choice.

00:19He had gone into cardiac arrest and that is ultimately what took his life.

00:24Shannon made the decision to take Gary off of life support.

00:28With the child star ultimately passing away on May 28, 2010.

00:33Just two days after he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition following a fall at his and Shannon's Utah home.

00:40When A&E host Tony Harris asked Shannon if she could have given Gary more time to recover before pulling the plug, she replies,

00:48No. Thursday I go visit him, speak with the doctors and they are like,

00:53Shannon, we do not think that he's going to make it until Friday.

00:56Meaning his condition is not going to get any better.

01:00I made the right decision.

01:02Going on to explain,

01:04I tried.

01:05I tried to do everything in my will.

01:07I asked the questions.

01:09I saw the condition he was in.

01:10I just knew.

01:12I mean he was basically already gone.
