00:00This team from France, PSG, is just flat out better than everybody.
00:04I mean, they stomped Real.
00:07The game was over.
00:08Eight minutes into the game, the game was over.
00:11Some people may not have thought so.
00:13Not only that, I got to tell you, I was very upset,
00:16and I went crazy on the show with it,
00:18that it wasn't on TNT or TBS like the Chelsea game was.
00:23Like, you got to be kidding me.
00:24Two of the greatest teams in the world,
00:26and I got to download this DAZN for $200 a year.
00:30I'm not having it.
00:31The next thing I said was, what, are they not going to show the final?
00:35I mean, how was that game not on TV?
00:38When I want to watch the best two teams in the world, that's bad for soccer.
00:42Listen, I can't speak to anybody else's broadcast arrangements.
00:46But what, you know, I will, I'm totally in line with you,
00:51that that game was so, it was so interesting,
00:54just the way it was billed, and you're right about PSG,
00:58Cali Saint-Germain, the team that ended up beating Real Madrid for nothing.
01:01They were up 2-0 within the first 10 minutes.
01:05I think for anybody who's actually a soccer,
01:08who's been paying attention, which, you know, is me,
01:11it's not that much of a surprise that Real Madrid ended up losing that game,
01:16because PSG are the type of team that overwhelm
01:18every single opponent they ever face,
01:20and they overwhelm them quick.
01:22Like, they start, they play this really, really intense type of game.
01:26Even if you're a soccer casual,
01:28you'll be able to notice how dominating they are
01:30in every single area of the field,
01:33especially in the wide areas.
01:35And, you know, they just know how to overwhelm teams
01:38in a way that most teams have a tough time playing against,
01:41be they, you know, somebody like Inter-Miami,
01:43or somebody like Real Madrid.
01:45So, I said on the show the other day,
01:49when I was not watching it,
01:52and I was following it,
01:53I said, and I had already watched Chelsea
01:57several times play in the tournament,
01:59they're not beating that team.
02:02They're not.
02:03Yeah, I mean, that's the big question, right?
02:05I think, because if you're, again,
02:08just speaking from somebody who understands PSG a little bit,
02:10they sort of went on this tear starting in February.
02:12They beat a lot of different teams,
02:14a lot of different teams from England.
02:16The big question right now is,
02:17how do you beat this version of PSG?
02:20Nobody's really answered that question yet.
02:22We'll see if Chelsea can,
02:24but they're a very young team,
02:25so it might be a different kind of challenge, too,
02:29for them,
02:29just because they don't have experiences at this level yet.
02:32It'll make them better in the long run,
02:34but I don't know if they're ready to compete
02:35in the short run with them.
02:36That's the big question.
02:37So, you know,
02:38this team won the Champions League,
02:41and here they are going for this tournament as well,
02:44the Club World Cup,
02:46which is essentially, in my view,
02:48a dry run for the World Cup.
02:50They wanted to see,
02:52I think FIFA wanted to see,
02:54how was the United States going to handle these games
02:58that they had in Atlanta and everywhere
03:00and all these indoor places.
03:02I'm actually glad that that is going to be outdoors Sunday
03:06and next year,
03:08that we're going to see the final.
