00:03was 17 and when my daughter was born I had to raise her by myself. I was really struggling

00:07to support her and really wanted to get her a Christmas present that year. I had a job interview

00:10one day so I borrowed my friend's suit and had to walk there because I couldn't afford a bus ticket.

00:14On the way some guy comes up to me and asks for directions and I told him I was honestly lost too

00:18but halfway through my sentence he pulls up his shirt showing me he had a gun. He told me he was

00:21robbing me and asked for my phone. I just sighed and handed him my flip phone since it was all I

00:25could afford at the time. He looks at me confused and asks for the other phone that I was hiding

00:29from him. I told him it was honestly my only one and he's like okay well I bet you have lots of

00:33cash. Give me your wallet. He must have saw the suit I was wearing so he thought I'd have lots of money

00:36on me. I take it out and hand it to him and he looks inside to find only $4.23. He looked at me

00:41so disappointed. This guy had told me he was gonna kill me but now I could see he genuinely felt bad.

00:45He asked if I was okay and I told him I was just trying to make money for my daughter at home.

00:49He didn't know what to do and looked back down at my wallet. He pulls out the picture of my daughter

00:52and looks at it for a second. Then he literally gave it back to me and handed me an extra $10.

00:56He said I probably need it more than him and just walked away.
