00:00Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the most
00:09adorable Pokemon in the whole Pokedex.
00:22Number 20. Dealing. Introduced in the fifth generation, this
00:27fawn Pokemon will have you, well, fawning over it in record time.
00:38See, Dealing is the kind of darling first stage that's just asking to stay unevolved.
00:44Everything from its knobby legs to its tuft-like tail to the flower resting on its head feels
00:50tailor-made to steal hearts.
01:01That's not all. Dealing's color palette also changes with the time of year, and each of
01:06them are so eye-catching we simply can't choose a favorite.
01:15No matter if it's spring, summer, fall or winter, Dealing is always in season.
01:20Number 19. Togepi. Somehow, a Pokemon that spent most of the anime curled up in Misty's arms
01:28still managed to win over audiences. Then again, are you really surprised? Just look at Togepi
01:34and tried to tell it no. Well, I think I should keep Togepi because it likes me best. Right,
01:40Togepi? There's not a trainer alive who can stay mad at such an adorable little thing, especially
01:47when it smiles back at you. Misty really lucked out with this one, although it wasn't an easy
01:53adoption. I'll love you just like a mother would. Togepi's so beloved, it's been causing trainer
02:02disputes since its anime debut. That's right, Togepi's sunny-side-up personality thawed even
02:09Team Rocket's heart. That's gotta count for something.
02:13Nice world! We did it! We did it! Yeah!
02:18Number 18. Piplup. Anyone on the prowl for a cute Sinnoh partner? Look no further.
02:24Stop that, Piplup.
02:30Piplup is stylish, plump, and positively beaming with personality. The rounded penguin look is
02:37hard to pass up, but the best part is the tuxedo detailing. The only thing better than
02:42a cute penguin is a cute penguin that looks like it's wearing a suit.
02:46Piplup's dapper attire is a winning formula no matter how you look at it, and clearly,
02:57Pokemon knew it. In the anime, Dawn famously gave her Piplup an Everstone, ensuring it'd
03:04stay small and delightful forevermore. You won't hear us complaining about it.
03:09Piplup! Piplup! Piplup!
03:12Number 17. Sobble. You'll want to pack some tissues when setting off with this Galastata.
03:23As a Pokemon known for shedding some tears, Sobble may leave you crying. But not out of sadness.
03:29No! On the flip side, the Water-type's quirky demeanor will leave you dabbing your eyes from
03:35sheer endearment. Sobble's definitely worth the tears, though. It's lack of self-confidence
03:41is so captivating, you're pretty much forced to raise it up into a strong, confident
03:46Inteleon.
03:51Although, that's assuming you can part ways with Sobble's delightfully small frame.
03:58Believe us, it's easier said than done.
04:02Number 16. Mimikyu. Pikachu is inarguably the very face of Pokemon. It's cool, powerful,
04:11iconic, and above all, completely irresistible. Mimikyu is the same thing. It's just different.
04:18Keep your eyes on the battle!
04:21The references to Pikachu are plain to see, but beneath the disguise, Mimikyu is just a normal
04:29Pokemon in search of a trainer's love. If that doesn't break your heart a million times
04:34over, nothing will.
04:36To summarize, Mimikyu pulls all the best qualities of Pikachu's design and then adds a tragic backstory
04:51to the mix for maximum pulling on the heartstrings. Remind us how anyone can hate this little guy
04:58again.
05:03Number 15. Clefairy. There's just no competing with a Pokemon that has the ability, Cute Charm.
05:10It's literally designed to be cute.
05:17Take, for example, Clefairy. It's got the two surefire traits that always make for a precious
05:24Pokemon. Pink and Small. If that's not enough for you, Clefairy's pre-evolution Clefairy is
05:31even pinker and smaller.
05:33Many Clefairy are often found on nights of meteor showers.
05:38Surprising absolutely no one, Clefairy has the Cute Charm ability too. Not that it or Clefairy
05:45really needs it. They're both doing just fine on their own. Plus, they're also shaped like
05:51stars, just to really prove how out of this world they are.
05:55Number 14. Squirtle. Kanto's starters are as classic as it gets. But no matter if you're
06:08looking at it through rose-tinted lenses or Squirtle Squad sunglasses, this water type is
06:14something else.
06:21Instead of loud or unexpected design flourishes, Squirtle is simply a baby blue turtle with
06:28a brown shell and stubby limbs. That's all. Ironically, that's also all it needs to completely
06:35sweep the boards where adorableness is concerned.
06:39Squirtle.
06:41There's just something about Squirtle's delightful smirk that makes it seem like it's always in
06:49a good mood. Although, when you're as appealing as a Squirtle, there can't be much to be upset
06:54over anyway.
07:04Number 13. Togedomaru.
07:06We've been over Pikachu's impact on the series, so it shouldn't be too shocking to hear there's
07:12more than one copycat out there. That's not to say Togedomaru is a knockoff by any means.
07:18I'm so sorry.
07:19Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute,
07:22it's so long.
07:23Taking some visual cues from porcupines, Togedomaru earns itself a steel typing and a whole lot of
07:30cuteness capital. The greys, yellows and whites of its color palette play off each other extraordinarily
07:36well. Paired with Togedomaru's impossibly fetching eyes, and you have a slam dunk of a Pokemon.
07:46It doesn't evolve, but it doesn't have to. No need to fix what isn't broken, right?
07:51Number 12. Raltz. Psychic type? Whatever. While Raltz's latent abilities are formidable, you'll be catching one for a different reason.
08:05That being, it's just too dainty to skip over.
08:15Raltz single-handedly confirms that a ball cut isn't a fashion nightmare. At least not when it's paired with a timid, foot-tall Pokemon.
08:24It's trademark red horn lets it sense emotions. So whenever you're happy, which is gonna be always when you're around such a charming partner, Raltz is happy too.
08:40On second thoughts, maybe that's why Raltz tend to hide away from bustling places. They're so popular, they'll be trampled on sight.
08:48But what do you think about when I'm older and I'm a trainer that maybe you and I could go traveling together?
08:53That's awesome! So you can plan on me coming back for you someday?
08:58Number 11. Teddy Ursa. The quickest way to get your hands on one of the most enticing Pokemon of all time is to carry around some honey.
09:09Like a Mothim to a flame, Teddy Ursa can't get enough of the sweet stuff.
09:14Red hot yellow corn! Don't be shy!
09:17Bye, bye, bye!
09:19That's why they're always licking their paws and also why they're easily among the most winsome Pokemon ever.
09:26Hey, where'd those bananas go?
09:30Sporting a clean look and some nods towards the crescent moon, Teddy Ursa is basically a living stuffed animal.
09:38Or rather a walking talking teddy bear. The pitch writes itself. No need to hibernate. Go catch a Teddy Ursa now. You won't regret it.
09:48Now Teddy Ursa is using its double team.
09:52Teddy Ursa!
09:55Number 10. Tinkerton. A smiling hot pink Pokemon is hard enough to ignore.
10:01A smiling hot pink Pokemon carrying an oversized hammer? It's pretty much impossible.
10:07Tinkerton's cutesy aesthetic clashes with its hawking weapon of choice in the best way possible.
10:28Yes, the hammer can still be used to pound enemies silly, especially given Tinkerton's high attack stat.
10:35But because it's held by such a precious little thing, it just makes Tinkerton that much more appealing.
10:41At least when it's on your team.
10:46Still, in all matters relating to cuteness, Tinkerton hits the nail on the head.
10:51Number 9. Mudkip.
10:54As the mudfish Pokemon, you'll find this Hoenn starter rolling in swamps, swimming in oceans, or putting its water gun to good use against enemy trainers.
11:04But there's one important similarity between them all. Mudkip is jaw-droppingly lovable in each and every one.
11:12What's this little Mudkip up to?
11:14No matter the time, no matter the place, Mudkip and its unbothered personality is all but guaranteed to have your heart skipping a beat.
11:26Just look at its tiny fins, or its orange cheeks.
11:33Mudkip, it's okay, you're safe now!
11:35Really, there's not a single part of Mudkip that isn't worth swooning over. Playing in the mud has never been so tempting.
11:42Number 8. Yamper.
11:52We only need three words to sell you on this one.
11:55Electric.
11:56Corky.
11:57Pokemon.
11:58Need we say any more?
11:59Yamper is every lovable part of man's best friend, blended together with the most enamoring parts of Pokemon.
12:11It's such a perfect match, it's almost unfair.
12:14Don't worry, Yamper didn't get the name of Puppy Pokemon for nothing.
12:25To really drive it home, it has a signature ability called Ball Fetch.
12:30That's right, Yamper doesn't just look the part, it acts it too.
12:34Though, given how quickly fans flock to this 8th generation pup, that's hardly a shock.
12:40Number 7. Furet.
12:46Ah, Johto, home to ancient ruins, mysterious caverns, and most importantly of all,
12:52the most eye-catching critter that Pokemon's ever designed.
12:56Yes, we're talking about Furet.
13:04Some trainers scoffed when they saw its pre-evolution centrate in Johto's early roots.
13:09But those who put the effort in were rewarded with a furry friend that puts every other pocket monster to shame.
13:16Furet!
13:17Is your Furet okay?
13:20Oh yeah, it's gonna be fine!
13:22Nothing else in the hold dex matches Furet's earnest expression.
13:26Plus, it's got a fushy tail that's just asking to be cuddled with.
13:30Suffice it to say, it's never a bad idea to nap a centrate.
13:35You and that Pikachu of yours, you were awesome!
13:38You and Furet were great too!
13:40Number 6. Rowlet.
13:42These days, starter Pokemon are held to an increasingly high bar.
13:46And that bar is Rowlet.
13:48Who's that Pokemon?
13:49Leave it to me!
13:50Rowlet.
13:51The grass quill Pokemon.
13:52A grass and flying type.
13:55It's an owl, it's round, and it's blown its way up the pecking order to become one of Pokemon's most popular creations.
14:03The leaf bowtie does some serious heavy lifting, but it also helps that Rowlet is just the right size for hugging.
14:12It's not exclusive to the Alola games either.
14:17Vanderman brought the Alolan grass type back as one of the starters for Pokemon Legends Arceus.
14:24With all that in mind, it makes sense why Ash never evolved his Rowlet.
14:28It's perfect just the way it is.
14:31Wanna come with me?
14:36Number 5.
14:37Wooper.
14:38What's got no arms, blue skin, and a big goofy grin plastered on its face at all times?
14:44One of the very best Johto Pokemon that's what.
14:51We know, that's high praise.
14:53But even throwing aside its petite stature, Wooper still handily paddles past its competition
15:00thanks to its dopey personality.
15:02The blank stare and energetic smile are super effective heart melters.
15:14All it takes is a single passing glance and you'll be a Wooper lover for life.
15:19No attract needed.
15:21We'd say we're sorry but we're really not, Wooper deserves every bit of love it gets.
15:28Number 4 Pikachu As it turns out, the face of Pokemon is pretty
15:33darn adorable.
15:35It makes sense when you realize Pikachu was handpicked because of its widespread appeal.
15:44It's cool but not edgy, powerful but not aggressive, and of course cute without even
15:50trying.
15:51Nowadays the lightning bolt tail and puffy red cheeks are pretty much staples of the franchise.
16:04Pikachu is just that irresistible.
16:06Its baby form Pichu is pretty much the same thing, just smaller.
16:11Yes, it's as precious as it sounds.
16:14Oh, and when Pikachu and Pichu come together, it's a cuteness overload the likes of which
16:19Pokemon may never see again.
16:22Mew.
16:23Mew.
16:24Mew.
16:25Mew.
16:26Mew.
16:27Mew.
16:28Mew.
16:29Mew.
16:30Mew.
16:31Mew.
16:32Mew.
16:33Mew.
16:34Mew.
16:35Mew.
16:36Mew.
16:37Mew.
16:38Mew.
16:39Mew.
16:40Mew.
16:41Mew.
16:42Mew.
16:43Mew.
16:44Mew.
16:45You don't need psychic powers to tell that Mew is head and shoulders above just about
16:46every other Pokemon in existence.
16:47all, Mew is the definition of short and sweet.
16:50It doesn't need a ton of design flourish to stand out.
16:54Its pink color palette and breathtaking cry do plenty on their own.
17:06If you're lucky enough to see it floating around, you'll agree that the sight is downright
17:11mesmerizing.
17:12We say if because Mew has remained one of the most difficult Pokemon to obtain across
17:17the generations.
17:19Even the game designers know Mew is too cute to handle.
17:26Number 2 Eevee
17:38Known as the evolution Pokemon, the first generation normal type has the most branching forms of
17:44any pocket monster ever.
17:46And yet, you'll never want to evolve Eevee into any of them.
17:53While it was initially designed to serve as a blank slate for future evolutions, Eevee's
18:01dog-like appearance is too enamoring to say goodbye to.
18:05That little tuft on its head is just begging to be pet.
18:16Then there's the ombre tail, perky ears and fluffy mane.
18:21Honestly we could talk about Eevee all day, so we'll just leave it at that before we get
18:26any more carried away.

18:46If you're on your phone, make sure to go into your settings and switch on notifications.
18:51Number 1 Vulpix
18:53Against all odds, Pokemon delivered their most ravishing design of all way back in the
18:59first generation.
19:00And they've been trying to match it ever since.
19:03Spoiler, they can't.
19:04You're just about the cutest little Pokemon I've ever seen!
19:09Vulpix is unbeatable.
19:11We don't make the rules.
19:13With its subdued color scheme and poofy fur, this firefox is the epitome of all things cute
19:20and cuddly.
19:21Or in the case of its equally amazing Alolan form, light and fluffy.
19:31The fact that it got a regional variant at all just proves that they just don't make
19:35them like Vulpix anymore.
19:38Even today when there's over a thousand Pokemon and counting, Vulpix's innate charm still trumps
19:44them all.
19:50Which Pokemon has stolen your heart?
