00:04What did you make of his comments on Ukraine and Russia's stance on ending the war?
00:10I didn't feel like I could get a clear answer on what Russia actually wants.
00:15You see, Leanne, I don't know what is in the minds of people, probably like brainwashed by propaganda.
00:23The only thing I can do is perhaps enlighten Nikita to Kiev to sit with me and my family in a bomb shelter.
00:30Where we spend every night under the dozens, hundreds of Russian drones that are simply attacking just like random buildings in the city, destroying and killing.
00:43In fact, last year there was a missile hit right near the home where I live and it destroyed like part of my house and I was inside.
00:52And I can assure you that there is no military target anywhere near I live.
00:56And at that moment, five people lost their lives and 200 lost their homes.
01:02They were just simple Ukrainian people who wanted to live their lives, not having an aggressor neighbor who would be constantly trying to kill them.
01:12Another moment here is that we in Ukraine are open to all kinds of international spectators that can 100% prove that what we are saying is true and who can stay here and observe the attacks that are happening by Russia.
01:29I think at this point, it should be clear to the whole world who started this war and that Ukraine is simply trying to survive and defending ourselves.
01:38We made a democratic choice that we do not want to be a part of Russia, we don't want to have anything to do with Russia, we want to join European Union, this is our will.
01:48And the fact that Russia, you know, as a man who cannot just give up, that somebody doesn't want to be with them, is trying to get us back.
01:59It will not work and especially it will not work in violence.
02:02And last but not least, just recently, European Court of Human Rights made a finished verdict that Russia is guilty in taking down the MH17 plane that was going through Russian territory and they were denying it for 10 years and saying lies all over saying that it was not them.
02:27Right now, right now, the truth is speaking, finally, there is this conclusion and again and again, we cannot be repeating Russian lies, the only thing we can do what is in our hands is get more weapons and supplies to push them back to where they came from and just have nothing to do with them.
