00:00Hello and welcome to Sephora Sheffield here in Renovale. My name is Sarah Bourne, I'm the managing director for Sephora in the UK as we are so excited to be here in Renovale this morning on this beautiful, beautiful day.
00:15We've had so many people coming and queuing overnight to get into the first store in Yorkshire. We've known since we arrived two and a half years ago that we were desperate to come to this store and we've just been looking for the perfect location at the perfect time.
00:30The response from the students have been amazing, there's a great vibe here, everyone's been really friendly, meeting each other overnight, getting to know the people and the queue next to them and we just were having a fantastic time in store. So please come down and see us, it's going to be amazing.
00:45I mean what's it been like this morning seeing all the people show up?
00:48It's been absolutely fabulous, of course the atmosphere has been building since 9 o'clock yesterday evening.
00:54But the queue actually, there's a queue formed up here in the mouth and we've plugged it into the queueing system there. So the atmosphere has been building all night, it's been really jovial, everyone's really had a great time.
01:04I think that's part of the experience of Sephora, which has been brilliant.
01:08Brilliant and in terms of getting such a big brand for Meadowhall and even for just Sheffield in general, how does it feel to sort of work that out I guess?
01:16I think that's really important as well, it puts not just Meadowhall but Sheffield and the reaching on the map as well to draw people in. We work with lots of partners across the city as well to make sure we amplify all the great things that Sheffield has to offer.
01:29This is one other draw into the city for me and it's a big iconic brand. We said that with Sephora it has a massive halo effect in terms of bringing people from further afield and that's exactly what we'll do for the whole city.
