00:00One D. Now we go to tariffs. I mean, let's talk about tariffs because, I mean, these have been a big deal, you know, since Donald Trump was elected.
00:12It's been no secret Trump's beef that he's had with the EU. I mean, that was even there in his first presidency.
00:19We can't ignore that. It's always annoyed him. He's always said they're scam artists, they're ripping off the U.S.
00:26That's exactly how he feels on them.
00:27Which I don't buy at all, but we'll come to that later.
00:29We'll come to that later.
00:30He recently said, actually, what's been going on with the EU?
00:35They're not scam artists and they're not ripping them off. They've actually been quite nice.
00:38Like you say, I mean, Trump has always felt that the U.S., well, not the U.S., the EU, has cheated the U.S. out of, like, billions of dollars.
00:49So he's always had that grudge since the beginning of time.
00:54But what's clear now is that, of course, I mean, the EU is ready to sign on the dotted line.
01:01But, of course, there are a few things that just need to be lined up.
01:04There needs to be some type of unity.
01:06Well, not some type, actually.
01:08There needs to be unity within the member states.
01:11They all have to agree.
01:12So it is more complicated, like, well, like the Italy's Minister of Economy had said, it's more complicated.
01:21It's not going to happen overnight.
01:23I know Trump is all about making things happen overnight.
01:26But this one is certainly not one of those, I don't know, deals that you can sign overnight.
01:34So I think, but when you're really looking at this, Trump has been lenient towards the EU.
01:45Think of it this way.
01:46He pushed that deadline, well, he extended the deadline to August 1st just to give them time.
01:52Do you think he's been lenient?
