Thousands gather to mark the 30th anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica
More than 8,000 Bosniak boys and men were executed by Bosnian Serb forces in July 1995, towards the end of the Bosnian War, in what is the only recognised genocide in Europe since the Holocaust.

00:00This year marks the 30th anniversary of Srebrenica genocide and the first commemoration since the United Nations General Assembly declared an international day of rembourse.

00:17Today, solemn ceremony was held at Srebrenica Potočari Memorial Center for seven victims whose incomplete reminds will be finally buried here.
00:27The youngest victims were just 19 years old. With them, the total number led to the rest has reached 6,751.
00:36Around 8,000 people joined the peace march, retracing the route 1,000 took in July 1995 by 1,000 trying to reach safety in Tuzla or Kladen.
00:45Ultramarathon runners, cyclists and motorcade riders also arrived here carrying the same message, peace and the promise that Srebrenica must never happen again.
