Deported Venezuelan mothers demand US release their children
Hundreds of people rally in Caracas, calling for the return of at least 30 children who remain in the United States after being separated from their Venezuelan parents during deportations. Among the demonstrators is Mariale Castellano, who was deported back to Venezuela in late May 2025. She demands the return of her nine-year-old daughter, who was left behind in the US and placed in foster care. During the demonstration, organizers read aloud a letter addressed to United Nations representatives in Venezuela, calling for urgent action to ensure the return of the children to their families.
