08:03i think cinema and television for that matter is has had a very tough time in the last 10 years or
08:14so 10 15 years gaming social media vr canvases are exploding and they're constantly evolving
08:22because technology is allowing them to evolve movies and television tv is becoming more and
08:28more just content that you almost look at while you're doing other things and movies are still
08:35that window of exclusivity of the collective experience but i think that movies also needs
08:42to re-evaluate themselves i remember when we were in can for only god forgives and i after everyone had
08:49been booing me for so long that during the my stay i did say look you can be angry with me and about
08:57my film but i am from the future and i'm going to make something that's going to predict what it's

10:30interesting it's like taking something and turning it on its head you know it's taking the ultimate
10:35superhero in one movie and emasculating him in the next it's taking one movie that's very poppy and
10:42another movie that's very esoteric and that i think is what makes the world interesting is that
10:50things can become different it can evolve into other components rather than just always staying in the
10:58same repeat lane because you very quickly run out of steam in my opinion i was uh i was very happy but
11:05obviously you know a lot of harsh reactions and a lot of booing and screaming but then i was like

13:15like i'm never going to be like that because i'm right you're wrong
13:24i mean i've done two shows one with amazon one with netflix and i like what i was making obviously
13:30but i i don't know how how much i want to continue i may want to take a break and
13:38and go and make movies again i've decided to do more visual arts you know and um trying to find
13:48other areas of creativity but i think it's time to to go make a film again you said you work on two
13:54shows that you work on the famous five also so the famous five was a television show that i i just
14:01how do you say executive produced or created but i had no involvement in it otherwise i just created
14:08the kind of concept in the story based on these very famous books the famous five was more
14:13because my kids would read the books when they were young i remember my mother reading me the
14:18books so it was more like a past history thing that came up as an opportunity

15:14puts a burden on you because all that money has to get re you know recouped and then you have to
15:19make a certain type of movie you don't have the freedom to do whatever you want because you're
15:24you're a slave to the economics if your film costs 200 million dollars or 100 million dollars you
15:30need to make three four hundred million dollars to break even that already puts a strain on what kind
15:35of movie can you make and i don't want any conditions on me at all you have to be completely free
15:47i mean in the beginning a lot of people were talking about another drive but it was like
15:53that would be the worst idea i've ever heard of so never never
16:05i've been very lucky to live a fun life and it has nothing to do with fame you realize very quickly
16:16it has that i've had opportunities and i've been able to work with people i've met people i've spoken
16:24with people and it's all been a lot of fun but i think when i started the idea of being seen was
