Well, yesterday I was briefed by the CFMEU Administrator on the Watson report.
00:05
And I've got to say, the findings in the Watson report are shocking
00:08
and reveal the systemic horror that many of us knew existed in the CFMEU for many, many years.
00:15
While the CFMEU were out there bullying, physically intimidating and threatening women and children,
00:23
the Labour Party were driving the getaway car for the CFMEU.
00:26
The Labour Party in Queensland enabled the CFMEU and its violence, intimidation, fears, threats and misogyny for over 10 years.
00:38
And it was clear since 2015, when the Labour Party was elected,
00:42
they changed the industrial relation laws and put the CFMEU back in charge since 2015.
00:49
The report talks about how the fear, intimidation, the business model of the CFMEU,
00:54
is embedded in EB agreements, a female public servant locked in a room.
01:01
A daughter of a workplace health and safety inspector, intimidated and bullied at a gymnasium.
01:07
Workplace health and safety inspectors were chased by CFMEU officials with an angle grinder in use.
01:15
This is the behaviour of the CFMEU and Labour let it happen for 10 years.
