00:00So we had, of course, talked about Scott before and all his bad comments about Nebraska,
00:05but this was him at the podium.
00:07He absolutely adores Central Florida.
00:09UCF is unique, in my opinion.
00:12It's so young compared to most of the other schools in Power Four Leagues.
00:17It certainly feels like home to me and feels comfortable,
00:20but it has grown since I've been there, and it's amazing to see the changes.
00:25I think we're just scratching the surface of what UCF can be as a university and athletic department.
00:32If we keep working hard to push it, I think UCF can become something even far greater than what it has become today.
00:41The support of the people around Orlando and the alumni that we have are certainly pushing us in a good direction.
00:50Again, I'm really excited to be able to represent that group again.
00:55I want to ask you a question, Mike.
00:57So I was down there, and obviously I've been around Miami and South Florida for most of my life, going down there.
01:07I lived down there.
01:08I did my show down there.
01:09I've done everything down there.
01:11I'm a Canes fan.
01:12When you look at Miami, Florida, and Florida State, they're all that matter, right?
01:17But not really.
01:18Now you've got FAU, you've got UCF, you've got South Florida, the Bulls, and you've got Tampa.
01:25Now, I don't think Tampa has a football program, just the Spartans, whatever they're called.
01:33But there are all these other schools down there.
01:36And you think of Central Florida.
01:38Do you consider that a good school?
01:40Do you consider that, like, not just athletically, which really doesn't matter, but actually, do you consider the Florida Atlantics, the Central Floridas, the South Floridas, and the Tampas good schools to go to educationally, as opposed to you go to the swamp, and it really is.
01:58It's in the middle of nowhere, and then Tallahassee, also, it's even worse, in the middle of nowhere.
02:04And then you've got the expensive private school down in Coral Gables at Miami, which is $85,000, $90,000 a year to go to.
02:11Well, I'm sure if you're talking academics, that they're all great schools to go to, you would think, especially, I mean, Central Florida always has these now.
02:21So, like he was kind of saying about the athletics, they've been a rising program on all fronts over the last 20 to 30 years.
02:29And now, especially where they've gotten themselves athletically, where they're in a power for a conference, where they have had success.
02:37Of course, last time Frost was there, they had the big undefeated season where they ran around and bought all those billboards and bought those fake rings that they were national champions.
02:45So, they've had that little taste now, and I think they're the closest in terms of cracking those big three that it's always been in Florida, both academically and athletically.
