Journalist Michael Wolff says Epstein hit him with a hefty one-liner just hours before his death ... telling him he was "still hanging around" after Wolff asked him how he was doing. Quite a choice of words considering what happened next.

00:00Well, Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy theorists are still just plentiful.
00:06Well, yes, they're plentiful, but also they're heated up this week because of the DOJ statement
00:11that there's no client list and that you're not going to see who all of his rich and powerful
00:18friends were on the island.
00:21Well, now Michael Wolff, the author, is speaking out about his final communications with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:30And he says that this happened just hours before Epstein killed himself in prison.
00:37The words that were used is what is very, very interesting and is going to stoke a lot of
00:43conversation.
00:45This is what he said on the Daily Beast podcast.
00:47I believe that I was I got the last message from him before he died.
00:53And this came this came through one of his one of his lawyers.
00:57And on a Friday evening, he died on Saturday morning and he died theoretically from by hanging
01:07himself.
01:08And his message to me hours before this happened was and it was just in response to me asking
01:17how he was.
01:19And he said, still hanging around.
01:22Do you think that was a coded message?
01:24No, I don't.
01:27I don't know.
01:28I mean, it is weird because it's not a direct response to the question.
01:33How are you?
01:34Right.
01:35Just hanging around.
01:36Still hanging around.
01:37It feels like it was something a little bit forced, which makes it intentional.
01:41Also, don't forget that Jeffrey Epstein had tried to commit suicide not that long before
01:47that, I believe a few weeks before that by hanging.
01:50So for him to use this terminology to be found hanging that evening to previously have have
01:56attempted to hang himself.
01:59It's not I think it'd be too much to say just happenstance, just coincidence.
02:03I think he was trying to pass the message.
02:04Hey, guys, Juliana from Boca.
02:07I think this story is just so crazy.
02:10I think we're going to find much more what's going on.
02:14And I don't know.
02:15It's odd.
02:16It's so much.
02:17Can I stop you for a sec?
02:18I don't think.
02:19I think a lot more was going on and I don't think we're ever going to find out.
02:22Nope.
02:23That's the way Washington works.
02:25Yes.
02:25Throwing it to a vault.
