A five-month-old dog named Rocky became a hero in Siyathi village, in the Dharampur area of Himachal Pradesh, when his timely bark alerted his owner and subsequently saved 63 lives from flash floods

00:08just before floodwaters hit a village in Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.

00:28in Siyahati village in Himachal Pradesh.

00:31His loud barks alerted his master, Lalit Kumar,

00:34when flash floods hit the village on the night of June 30th.

00:55Lalit first woke up his family members

00:58and then the neighbors.

00:59Rocky's timely warning saved 63 lives.

01:28Not a single person died that night.

01:31But the dog itself got caught in the landslide.

01:45Lalit says Rocky was gifted to him by his brother three months ago.

01:49Since the landslide, all the villagers are staying at a temple nearby
