00:00Meanwhile, the Department of Energy is strictly monitoring the oil industry due to the possible smuggling and cartelization.

00:06This is after the department had a suspicion that there are oil companies that do not follow the proper system and pricing of petroleum products in the country.

00:14According to DOE, once proven, they will report the smuggling case to the Bureau of Customs.

00:19However, as of now, the department does not hold any solid evidence regarding such practices.

00:23DOE is continuously conducting inspections in the gas stations to check that they are implementing correct oil price adjustments.
