00:39when the preseason was getting started nfl players have short careers nfl players want to play

00:47football nfl players want to get paid to play football they need the money that comes from

00:58option and collective bargaining of a work stoppage when one side will do it and one side won't that

01:05creates an imbalance and there's an apathy that the nfl players have shown they're not interested

01:12they're not engaged because at the end of the day they're going to take the best deal and they're

01:16going to play football don't drag me down with details because at the end of the day we're doing

01:21the best deal and i think the league has weaponized that apathy against the player players for years

01:27and i think that over the past couple of years the way that lloyd howell was selected with his top

01:33secret process there was no transparency there was just a lot of weird things that happened i feel like

01:38nfl pa leadership has been weaponizing the apathy against the players as well and the challenge for

01:44the players is to wake up and take charge of their unions they're never going to have a chance

01:49to fight the nfl if they can't take control of their union and ensure that the people who are

01:54in charge of the union are willing to fight the nfl
