00:00And let's just look at Thomas Frank and in terms of the changes he might make.
00:05What are you sort of expecting to go to that first game and see tactically what Frank's going to change?
00:11Obviously, Brentford, he played some really nice sort of expansive football and very free flowing at times as well.
00:19But then also showed the side, as you mentioned before, is that adaptability that's so important that maybe Ange lacked.
00:26And we didn't quite see that Ange sort of had that with his team, that he could go in different situations,
00:32whether it's away from home or somewhere you need to sort of lock up a bit more.
00:36Thomas Frank seems like he's became a bit of a master at doing that.
00:41And then at home, Brentford's home record was incredible with Thomas Frank.
00:46So hopefully that's something he can transfer to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well.
00:49Absolutely. And we absolutely have to get, you know, the new White Hart Lane into fortress mode.
00:56I mean, you know, you look at the last season at White Hart Lane, I think it was 17 wins, two defeat, two draws, sorry.
01:02Absolutely fantastic. And, you know, the crowd, obviously, it was the last season.
01:05But it really translated onto the pitch that year.
01:09And that's something we haven't taken with us to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yet.
01:12There's been some terrific nights, you know, Man City in the Champions League,
01:17the first game against Christoph Palace and the semi-final first leg against Bordeaux would be all brilliant atmospheres.
01:23But it's been relatively flat and we just haven't got that groove, I think, yet.
01:27There's probably a little bit too much of an area of expectancy when Spurs turn up, you know,
01:31to think, well, we're going to beat these, so, you know, we don't need to sing, etc.
01:35So he's already said Thomas Frank, he wants to make the home into a fortress.
01:38And I think that's certainly point number one.
01:40But I think in terms of the tactical side of the game, the biggest difference is just going to be adaptability,
01:47depending on the opposition.
01:48You know, he likes to play with that front three.
01:51And I think, you know, it'll be very, very fluid.
01:53It'll be, you know, high press, you know, lots of attacking football again.
01:57I do think we'll have a much more solid base and that's what we're needed.
02:01So, you know, maybe that double pivot comes in, as we were speaking about the number six role, absolutely essential.
02:05And, you know, depending on the opposition, he'll move to a back three, which may well suit Spurs.
02:12You know, you've got the likes of Adoghi and Poro, who were wing-backs before.
02:17They morphed into that back four.
02:19They were bought as wing-backs initially.
02:21And it suits Spurs, you know, with those two bombing on.
02:25And then, you know, you look at the likes of Dragasin coming back from injury.
02:29You know, the jury is still out on Radu Dragasin, but he'd be much better in a back three.
02:33You know, he's a solid enough defender, just not with a high line when he's going to run back 40 yards.
02:37So, I think it'll be flexible, it'll be more pragmatic when we need to be.
02:43And that's absolutely something that we just weren't under Ange and it obviously cost him his job ultimately.
02:47We saw it in the European run, didn't we, that he changed his approach and it worked a treat.
02:52But he refused to do that in the Premier League.
02:54So, you know, it'll be really interesting to see what Frank does.
02:57I think, interestingly as well, where Brennan Johnson plays, could he go down the middle?
03:02I think, you know, we saw at Forest, he was very, very explosive down the middle.
03:06So, perhaps he can play off Solanke at times.
03:09And I think it'll be really interesting to see what happens with the battle for the number one position as well.
03:14Obviously, Vicario, excellent shot stopper.
03:16You know, there's no question of that.
03:17He's in the, you know, the top three or four keepers in the Premier League in terms of his shot stopping ability.
03:22However, he is a little bit suspect on the crosses and his distribution can be a bit dicey at times as well.
03:29And we know Thomas Frank likes a goalkeeper who's extremely good with the feet and obviously got really good distribution.
03:35And that brings Kinski into the mix, in my opinion.
03:39He's got a real talent and I think he's got an aura about him, Kinski.
03:43You know, he's going to not lay down in that challenge for the number one spot.
03:46So, we saw at the back end of last season when he was playing, when Vicario was rested, some of the long passing and ball distribution was exceptional.
03:55He's a good shot stopper.
03:56So, if he can brush up on that handling, which is pretty solid.
03:59Then I, you know, have a sneaky feeling that, you know, maybe not at the start of the season, but certainly during the season, we might see Kinski coming in as the number one goalkeeper.
04:08And again, you know, that will dictate in terms of the tactics that Frank wants to play.
04:12So, interesting, lots of things up for grabs.
04:15And it'll be interesting in the next couple of days when we get underway with the pre-season friendlies to see the approach Frank starts to take as things take shape.
