Belinda Bencic said that motherhood has made her a lot calmer on court, as she puts things into perspective.

00:00It's not something that takes away my focus and sometimes I think it's even better when I'm not too focused.
00:06I don't feel so nervous before the match and I'm just, you know, doing what I have to do.
00:12It's not something that is calculated, I would say.
00:16It's just very natural and then I am able to switch on when I'm on the court and be focused.
00:23Well, I just feel like I'm giving myself more credit after coming back this time.
00:31I feel like I've always been a little bit tough on myself and now actually I appreciate myself much more and what also I was physically able to do,
00:39but also what I'm, you know, being able to do now with so many things going on.
00:45So I think I'm just nicer to myself.
00:48It's been 45 years since another one Wimbledon. I don't know if you're aware of that stat.
00:52And if you were to do it, how inspiring do you think that would be for other women who might become mothers?
00:58I play my semifinal first and then we can talk.
