00:00have you seen this viral sponge that is used for umbri and aura nail designs if you don't have an

00:06airbrush or you're tired of buying airbrush and having a spoil here is how to use it i recently

00:12got mine to test and see how it can be used and you basically this is the picker when you want to

00:19pick it up when you want to pick up a sponge you just press the top down and the paint will come

00:26out then you press it on the sponge and release your hand it's going to pick it up then use it to

00:34dab the place you have your gel polish a little and reduce the quantity of gel polish you have on

00:40the sponge by dabbing it on an empty space then you start dabbing on the nail so the first mistake i

00:48made when testing this is having the gel polish all over the sponge just one side of the sponge

00:56having it all over that one side what's going to happen is that it will not really give you that

01:01um ingredient effect that you're trying to get so i had to toss that one and get another one so this

01:08time around i just had the gel polish in the middle of that part then i started dabbing so this one came

01:16out better after multiple layers when i do one i cure it and i come back again and do another one so it

01:24was about like three layers that i did but still i wasn't satisfied with the ingredients effect there

01:32i felt like it wasn't giving that aura enough so what i did was i took another nail and applied matte

01:41top coat on it i did the same thing on a cured matte background instead of it just being plain so with

01:49this i was able to achieve a better effect so when you're done dabbing it you can still use a clean

01:57part of this sponge that same sponge you can flip it to the side that does not have white gel polish

02:03and use it to go around so that it's blending better you wipe some gel polish around that you have it more

02:10pigmented in the middle for this one now you can still do multiple layers but you don't have to apply

02:17matte top coat after each layers if you're doing if you want to do like five layers you can do like

02:23two layers first then you apply matte top coat again then do another two layers or maybe the

02:29remaining three layers then you also need to make sure that you are curing each layer so when you

02:35dab the first one you cure it then you bring out bring it out and go for the second coat

02:42once you're done you cure it and then apply the glossy top coat and that's how you get the aura

02:48nail design but you don't have to go up to five though you can two is okay sometimes three layers

02:53is okay sometimes and you can also use it to do an ombre nail design just like this so this

03:00sponge works well if you don't want to spend money on an airbrush or if you're like scared that maybe if
