00:00Sean, music's a huge part of the summer in Glasgow. Some of the biggest events are going to be held this year at Hampden.
00:08What kind of experiences do people have when they come here? What kind of levels can people get into if they want to have a really big day to remember?
00:16Yeah, I think the focus here at Hampden for when we get into concert season is all about fun and that's fun at every kind of level.
00:23We have our more basic hospitality packages where you come in, you've got a bigger suite to enjoy, you have premium seating and then there's options to buy food and drink there.
00:33And then it goes right away to our more premium offering which is kind of like a five-course based-on menu with paired wines and things like that.
00:40So there really is a package to assume all tastes and budgets really for concert season here at Hampden Park.
00:48Just having a look around backstage as people start arriving at the stadium here tonight for Kendrick Lamar.
00:54The scale of this, I mean, give me an idea of what we're dealing with tonight in terms of the type of event that we're running here.
01:01Yeah, so I mean, Lava Del Rey was the first concert that we had here this summer and that was a crowd of just under 50,000 I believe.
01:08So that kind of gives you an idea just how kind of packed it can be when it's a kind of a sellout crowd.
01:13And we're expecting kind of similar numbers tonight for Kendrick as well.
01:16And we'll have Metallica next summer which I'm sure will be a huge, a huge one as well for us.
01:20So it's a totally different vibe from Match Day.
01:23I joined here in January, so I kind of jumped in the deep end with some of the Scotland Internationals and the Scottish Cup.
01:28But the concerts are all different, Kettlefish all together, but definitely it's been really enjoyable.
01:33If you could pick one artist and one artist only to headline Hamden, who would it be, Sean?
01:39Oof. Let me have a think about that. One artist.
01:43I don't know, I mean, I wouldn't be the biggest metal fan in the world, but I do think Metallica is going to be a huge one.
01:48I think it would be, for me, like looking at the Black Sabbath gig last weekend there down in Birmingham, I think that's amazing.
01:55So if we could do something similar like that in Scotland, I think that would be amazing.
01:58We'll be ready.
