Ähnlich wie im Brettspiel-Klassiker Die Siedler von Catan ist die Spielwelt in sechseckige Felder unterteilt. Darauf befinden sich eure Siedlungen, Städte sowie natürliche Elemente wie etwa Wälder und Berge. Untereinander treiben die Siedlungen auch Handel, sobald ihr sie durch Straßen miteinander vernetzt habt.
Jegliche Baumaßnahmen im Spiel kosten natürlich Rohstoffe. Die sammelt ihr, indem ihr das passende Gebäude auf einem geeigneten Feld platziert, etwa einen Holzfäller. Auch hier spielt der Handel zwischen den Städten eine zentrale Rolle, denn Angebot und Nachfrage wollen überall möglichst gut befriedigt werden.

00:29the cities you build will all trade independently from your actions.
00:48This means your economic skills and strategic thinking will be put to the test,
00:52as you try to satisfy supply and demand of various resources and keep the delicate market balance in check.
00:59Being able to make well-planned decisions and keeping a busy economy will ensure steady growth of your kingdom.
01:12The castle serves as your player hub and stronghold,
01:15and you can buy and store resources to use or sell them to other cities at a later time.
01:19When you see a resource being traded for cheap, it's usually a good idea to stock up.
01:26There might be random events that trigger a need for a certain resource,
01:30so it's always good to keep an extra stock on hand.
01:32On the world map, you will find different colored tiles that correspond to different resources.
01:43The gray colored tiles are yet unexplored, so send out your knight to go expand the borders of your kingdom.
01:52To start collecting resources, you need to place the right buildings on the corresponding tiles while being connected to a city center.
02:07As you go, you will need to research more specialized buildings, so head on over to the research center to find loads of buildings to grow your cities with.
02:27Of course, not everything in your kingdom will always go according to plan.
02:45Sometimes bandit gangs are on the prowl and will rob your traders of their precious cargo.
02:53If that happens, send out your knight to teach those guys some manners.
02:58Your knight can be equipped with different kinds of soldiers to help them defeat the rowdy bandits,
