00:27na nasa 30 taon ng nasa serbisyo at ginamit ng Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.

00:34Ayon naman sa Philippine Navy, sa Agosto isasagawa

00:37ang inspeksyon kasunod ng imbitasyon mula sa Japan Ministry of Defense

00:42na tatagal ng dalawang linggo.

00:45Ang Abukuma-class destroyer escort ng Japan

00:47ay may kaparehong kapasidad sa Jose Rizal-class frigates ng Philippine Navy.

00:54It will add to the fleet size, but that will depend on whether we need to spend money

01:02for weaponizing it, for interoperability, for secure communications.

01:09The exercise to upgrade the weapon systems of all our existing vessels

01:15is a continuing exercise.

01:19So, it's a balance.

01:21It's a resource management balance between acquiring new

01:24and maintaining and repurposing the old and the ordered vessels to come.

01:34We will know if it is still viable to accept these warships.

01:39That remains to be seen.
